If you've never been here before, it's as simple as pulling your car close to the entrance of the garage and they direct you which bay to park at. Showed up and was 2nd in line for an oil change. Having never visited a Grease Monkey before I wasn't sure what to expect but Audrey explained everything including the pricing, recommendations they'll make, and what's included in the oil change. Headed inside to wait and was told to help myself to a complimentary coffee, soda, or water. The waiting area was spacious and clean with a restroom and tons of seating. They even have an area to entertain and educate kids. About a 20 minute wait and 2 recommendations that I politely declined due to time constraints as we're headed out of town. They pulled the car around and met me at the register. $94 for full synthetic and he offered me a $10 discount for an internet coupon they have. Apparently Wednesday is "ladies day" where they offer a $5 discount for woman but obviously the $10 coupon was better. read more

I have a 2014 Volkswagen Beetle, and it is one of the best cars that I've ever bought. I try to be diligent about the service on my car, to make certain that it will run for many, many years. That is why I take the car to Grease Monkey. Grease Monkey is located across the street from my home, which makes it extremely convenient. I have had my car serviced there a number of times, strictly because they always do a fantastic job. I feel that the manager is dedicated to the success of his installation, and therefore the individuals who work with him at this location are as conscientious as he is. He is absolutely stellar, and he always treats me with so much respect and kindness, a commodity that is also sorely lacking in our society today. It would be wonderful if all businesses were run the way that this Grease Monkey is run, because we would have no complaints about any service. There was a problem with my oil pan yesterday, and the manager explained it to me in terms that a non-mechanic such as myself could understand. He replaced the oil pan and made certain that everything was tiptop before he allowed my car to leave the installation. Such conscientious care of a customer has become rare, not only in the case of a vehicle, but also concerning most things that we encounter in our society today. I do not see myself going to any other facility to have my car serviced. I continue to get requests from the car dealer from which I purchased the car, to have my oil changed at their installation. I left them because the services that I'd had done in their shop were not consistent. Sometimes they did things well, and on other occasions the service was sub par. I will always have my oil changed at Grease Monkey, and it will absolutely be this particular installation because I'm always certain that the service will be the best that I can get. I cannot say enough good things about them, the entire team, and I have a told all of my neighbors and my family members that if they need to get their oil changed, they need to go to this Grease Monkey. I always bring my company car to this location, they are fast, friendly and I have had no issues over the past 5 years. As soon as I drive up, they already know I have a company car and they immediately pull it into the bay. No issues and it's always 15 mins or less, minus today for some reason. Service is always friendly, helpful and educates each customer on replacement parts and services offered, while using jargon that is completely understandable. Kimie, the cashier, is so friendly and engaged in conversation with me, making me feel comfortable. While this location is always busy, they are located in a strip mall with various places to dine or shop, while you wait! I was in a hurry to get my oil changed and had stopped at another store first to see if they could do it. They were quoting several hours for a simple oil change. I headed down the road to Grease Monkey which was my original plan. By this point i'd already waisted 20 of my precious 45 minutes. I walked into the store and before I could even think of my question, someone greeted me and asked if I needed my oil changed. When I said yes, the owner was already giving his son, sitting at the computer, my license plate number. Within 5 minutes my car was already in the stall with it's hood up. I had my oil changed, windshield wipers replaced bad tires rotated and it took less than 15 minutes. The owner was there chatting with me the entire time and another customer was there who has been a dedicated customer for a while. He had nothing but wonderful things to say. And I completely agree. For me to get as much done as I did in such a minuscule amount of time was absolutely insane. In the best possible way. I won't go anywhere else from now on. Thanks to this incredible team, I got more done than I planned, saving me time later, and I made it back to work in time for my meeting with enough time to stop and grab coffee first. read more

Side note: It would be nice if automatic headlamps could either be left on, or turned back on when service is done. Fast, friendly, inexpensive, and Open on Sunday. I am typically a Jiffylube customer but Grease Monkey did a great job for me recently and I am likely to do all future oil changes here. Most Oil Change businesses are closed on Sunday which is incredibly inconvenient for the hardworking middle class. Grease monkey is open on Sundays. And they don't need a reservation. My personal experience was that I took a car there with a service engine light on. Now just a heads up, they did not fix it, but then again they're not full-on mechanics. They did however run a computer analysis on my car to see what issues the cars computer (1998) had. Through this process the Grease Monkey employees were particularly helpful and friendly. UPDATE: Was contacted by the manager and he apologized profusely about what happened and ensured he would talk to the technicians that helped me out and made sure to make this issue right. Have been to this location before for an oil change and was taken care of beautifully. Went back again for my next oil change and asked if they could take a look at my breaks for me which were squeaking. Oil change was fine but I was blatantly lied to and was taken advantage of. The lied to me and said my rear breaks were completely worn down, metal on metal. And quoted me $500 a wheel to fix and a rotor resurface so $1000 total. I took my car to the dealership days later to get everything checked out, the deal ship said my breaks were perfectly fine and in normal 8mm wear. I am never going back to this location, hope you enjoyed taking advantage of me because I'm a female. This should be illegal, be ashamed of yourselves!!! SCAM! Thankfully I knew better to go to a proper place to get my break work done instead of being scammed out of $1000 dollars. read more

I get my oil and filter changed at this Grease Monkey location 2-3 times/year. Overall I have been happy with their service. I generally stop by in the middle of the week in the morning, when it's rarely busy. I'm usually in and out within 20 minutes at most. The price has crept up over the last couple years, but the quickness of the service outweighs that. One time I did have to return because there were so little oil drips on my driveway after the oil change. Turns out the oil pan plug needed to be tightened a bit more. I also brought my car here once to fix a burned out taillight. I was in and out in about 10 minutes, and the cost was reasonable (less than $15). read more

Friendly and fast...but FAKE service. Beware. I am particular about having my engine oil changed on schedule every 3000 miles. In this instance, my last previous oil change was actually only around 2000 miles back. However, because I like to have the oil serviced just before I take the car in for emissions testing, I wanted it done early. So, your implication that my engine oil was over-used is absolutely incorrect. I know the condition of my engine oil before and after it was serviced. Grease Monkey Centennial #134 does not seem to appreciate that when a customer hands over a vehicle to a shop it is with implicit trust that the service will be performed as agreed. Shop #134 has severely violated that misplaced trust (in this case by deceptively not using new oil). The consequences to customers in terms of potential cost due to wear or damage to an engine and the risks of vehicle breakdown and becoming stranded somewhere should not be so casually dismissed. The reason I have written my review is to offer to others the benefit of my experience with your shop. Your process in performing a fake oil change on my vehicle is likely repeated cheating other unsuspecting customers. I decline your invite to come back to your shop. Be assured, I would never trust your shop with a vehicle for any service. I hope others who hear of my experience also find an alternate shop operated with common integrity. read more

However, 5 minutes after I left the garage, someone flagged me on the road to say that my brake light was out. If they claim to check the light, then they should do it. I'm disappointed. I love this place! It's so easy to just pull your car in for an oil and oil filter change. I'm usually out of there in 1/2 hour. PLUS - they vacuum your car, wash your windows and sometimes even leave a carnation on your dashboard. And I always send me a coupon which I use on my next service. Really, what's not to love about all of that?! I haven't tried their top off service yet (though they mention it every time and I grow more and more curious to see how it works), but I'm planning to come the winter months especially given my car's endless need for windshield wiper fluid! read more

These guys actually care. I've always been someone to change my own oil and do my own maintenance just because of the peace of mind component mainly. I just moved to Denver and didn't have my tools yet so I thought I'd take a chance and I'm glad I did! Got taken CARE of right away. They let me use my own oil and filter and absolutely crushed it. Full service check in maybe 15 minutes. Manager talked to me about my Toyota Tacoma the whole time because he's 1.) a good guy that cares and 2.) has spent a lot of years building out Toyota's. He gave me a bunch of free advice of best ways to take care of my truck with different conditions and all of that. A total BOSS. These guys also will top off any fluid or air levels for free in between oil changes. I can't imagine going anywhere else now. Making me rethink doing some things myself even. I just got an oil change on a Prius (small 1.6 liter gas engine) and Toyota recommends synthetic oil. When I picked up the car and it was $81 and change, I raised an eyebrow and asked why it was so much. The cashier said "well it's Mobile 1 Synthetic", to which I said, "Ok, but that's like $4/quart." She proceeded to try to belittle me (in front of other customers in the lobby) and she gave this condescending laugh and said "honey, it's a LOT more than $4/quart..." I was very calm and polite, but I asked her exactly how much she thought it cost if it was truly more than $4/quart (and that would be my price, I assume Grease Monkey buys in serious bulk). She just laughed and walked out to the oil change bay; she could not tell me the price per quart or how my little company car that takes 3.9 quarts of oil and 5 minutes to change the oil, warranted $81. So I walked out to my car and googled Mobile 1 Synthetic. I found 5 quart containers of it online at Walmart in a 2 second search. 5 quarts for $22.88. That means $18.30 for the cost of oil if I were to do it myself. That means over $60 in labor for a 5 minute oil change. I walked back in to let her know the price I found. I suggested to her that for future customers she may want to have her facts straight and not shoot from the hip and belittle them. Instead of admitting she was wrong (and full of S---) she insisted that it must be an "economy version". I was like "what?!" I showed her on my phone. Mobile 1 synthetic. 0W oil. Same thing you claimed you put in the car. The receipt just says QTY 1 ---- $79.99. Doesn't say how much oil actually went in the car. Turns out it takes 3.9 quarts. It's not the price that bothered me the most, it's the fact that they clearly are full of it and shooting from the hip. You should at least know what you're charging your customers. As a company owner, I know that this type of culture is probably everywhere; meaning I highly doubt my oil was changed properly (no way I'll know if they put a new filter on). Now I need to check the oil level, because I'm sure that's probably not right, since they seem to have no clue. read more
