Revised My spouse went here because the dealer was booked, mistake. They suggested an air filter change which was declined, when I later inspected it, it was "painted"  with motor oil, and since we have not been driving through Iraqi burning oilfields the only logical conclusion is mendacity. ** overtightened everything they touched, and also failed to wipe down under carriage. **They did manage to get oil in the vehicle so 2 stars for a minor success Had a chat with a representative from the store: We disagree on some of the evidence, I removed a portion of this review. read more

This place is a joke! Do not ! I repeat, Do not ! Bring your car here. They wouldn't change the oil in my car unless I used synthetic oil which is over priced. The dealer also did not recommend or has been using synthetic oil in my car. The only reason I entertained this option is because my dealership is booked out. They have some of the highest reviews for a reason. Auto shops can be difficult especially if you're not a car expert bc they'll end up saying your car needs all kinds of repairs, which ends up being a lot of friggen $$. But I found that I can always trust what the mechanics do here and suggest I do (particularly this location). I moved and I still go out to this location to get my oil changes. Today was my first time taking my car in to this location and I have nothing but good things to say! They are fast, friendly, and professional. I won't take my car anywhere else after this visit! I called ahead for an oil change and the assistant manager Donnie was very informative and enthusiastic. He let me know that they did not take appointments or reservations but their last car had just finished in the garage and there shouldn't be any wait. He also reminded me that it was ladies night at Grease Monkey which would get me $6 off the services! So that was a nice unexpected deal! I arrived later than expected and there were a few cars in their garage but he took care of me right away and my car was done in 20-30 minutes. Not only did they change my oil and do a routine courtesy check on my tires but they also vaccumed the inside, washed the outside, and checked all other concerning factors. Not only will I go back for the fast service and ladies Wednesday deals, but also for the good-hearted people who work there. How much is your time worth? Well if you're like me time is money. I was in and out in less than 8 minutes. They changed my oil, replaced a bulb, and even vacuumed my car. I normally go to Goodyear where the prices are much lower, but it's a long wait time. Sometimes leaving it all day. I loved the experience here and the staff was great. Oil change service was quick, thorough, and affordable. The waiting area was also clean and comfortable. One of the staff members, however, was rushed and didn't provide much direction on where to park/where to put keys/where to wait/etc. She seemed as if she was upset and some of that was rubbing off on customers. Went in to get an oil change/oil topped off because my car was doing weird things (rumbling and smelling of burnt rubber) and I read it could be from low oil. It was 6 o'clock when they close when I showed up and they happily pulled my car into their garage and inspected it when I told them what was going on. They fixed my oil filter and topped my oil off free of charge and had it back to me in 10 minutes. The staff was so friendly and helpful.. I never feel like I am treated so well anymore by any business so I was so pleasantly surprised by how nice they were and they didn't at all seem rushed to close shop. It was fairly speedy when I went in the afternoon for a simple oil change. Price was high but then again any good vehicle now has an average oil change cost of $60-80. The only issue I had was trying to upsell me on something my manufacturer(Honda) did not recommend but they did as well as telling me they had vacuumed the interior and washed the windows when they clearly did none of those. I might give another location a try in 5,000 miles when my next oil change is due. This one for me did little to make me desire to return. read more

Rob, the Manager, will advise me on what to do with my car and only charge me for services it absolutely needs (unlike other auto service companies). Totally Ripped Off. Drove up to have oil changed and had a service person approach my SUV (Kia Sorento) that clearly states "AWD" on the side of the car and asked me which service I would like. I told him that the basic oil change service was all that I was looking for... $39.99. (Ouch!) He said, "Okay, It'll be about a half hour. A half hour later, he comes to me in the waiting area with my air filter in hand and asks if I would like it replaced, I said, "Sure, how much?" (It needed changing). "$21.00" (ouch again) He says,"Okay, 5 minutes, we'll have you going." Another half hour later (not 5)... All done. I come to the cashier and she goes through the litany of services that were done. Oil changed, fluids topped off, etc... (I guess that's why it's $39.99 for the oil change). I asked, "Where is the air filter charge?" After going out to the service area to ask the tech, the cashier returns, "He said that we did not have that filter in stock." Here's a thought, check you inventory first, before recommending that it needs changed. No air filter installed. I say, "Okay?" She says,"That'll be $55.00" WHAT!!!!??? What happened to $39.99? Well actually it was $42.99 not $39.99 for some dumb reason and another $10.00 for an AWD vehicle and $5.00 for the type of oil filter it was (what kind of ridiculous charge is that?). Note to owner and employees there... When you tell someone that it is going to be said price and upon further investigation, there are going to be more charges... TELL THE CUSTOMER BEFORE DOING THE WORK!!! You are spending their money when you don't tell them. Would you like me spending your money without your knowledge? In the end do not show up here and expect to pay even close to what they tell you. Total rip off. read more

There is no other mechanics I trust more to do my oil changes than these guys. They are honest, down to earth and always looking out for me. I have had some sketchy experiences with other locations but this one is the real deal. I live in Denver but it is worth the drive to make sure I'm treated with 5-star customer service. I stop by here occasionally if I need a quick oil change and don't have time to drop it off at my usual mechanic. They do a good job here and they are pretty quick but thorough. It is nice to have the car vacuumed out, windows washed, and all the fluids filled. They do seem a little pushy with trying to get the extra services done like coolant flushes. I just feel much more comfortable doing those things elsewhere. Also, it seems like this location changes management every 6 months or so. The waiting room is decent and they usually have some kind of snack for customers who are waiting. read more

Team was slow, no eager, and half-assed the job. I came in for an oil change and they told me 30 mins and it took over an hour. They kept saying oh just a few minutes we just have to do the oil. What else were they doing?! All i needed was an oil change. To top it all off--the decided to clean my windows, after I asked them not to & there was the grim from the windows running all down my white truck, which made it look like crap. The fact that this was their standard, quite frankly is a disgrace to the Grease Monkey Name. Grease Monkey shouldn't allow these lazy incompetent people to half-ass work for customer. I had some problems with this location. First, they lost my tire valve stem caps - which is annoying but easily replaced. Then, they stripped my oil drain plug and reinserted it -- causing a small oil leak. If you go here - double check everything before you leave. read more

DO NOT use this facility for any service. I called my normal mechanic who I have gone to for the last 14 years and they were all booked up today, so I went to Grease Monkey because they are down the street from my house. As soon as they started going over things with me, I knew they were trying to scam me. Less then 6 months ago I had a ton of work done on my car, so I knew that the services they were recommending were false. Even stated that I needed a new battery. My battery is less than a year old. Left the oil change, and went else where to have everything tested that they said needed to be fixed. Everything checked out fine. Even my car battery.
