We took our car to Raceway Lube and spent $2,000 for some fixes. We brought the car home and a few days later the check engine light came on and there was a lot of brown fluid leaking. This was a brand new issue. There is no doubt Raceway Lube caused this. We took the car back, told them what happened, and left it for them to look at and fix what they broke. When we went in to pick it up, we were presented with a laundry list of things to fix. The leaking transmission fluid was nestled in the middle of a bunch of line items. Why? The reason we brought it in was the transmission leak and check engine light. We told them this when we dropped it off. Not ten other things. Then the employee said he had no idea we brought the car in last week, no idea Raceway Lube worked on it already, no idea they'd already run the codes and created a list of things to fix. The actual issue of them causing a fluid leak was not addressed at all. Incredibly frustrating. Very upset they refused to address the problem they caused, inadvertently or on purpose, and take responsibility for fixing it properly. We just took the car home. So disappointing. read more

I brought my son's truck in for a leak and an inspection before we went on a roadtrip. They were able to get us right in and were very accommodating to our short time frame. We had some extensive work done and Bob took his time to explain everything to me so I could understand what needed to be done and why. I had Raceway change a misfiring coil in my van. After getting it back I started smelling gas while driving. I took my van back to them, let them have it for a day and a half but they said they didn't smell gas and couldn't find anything wrong. They made me feel like I was making it up and suggested it was something in my garage I was smelling. Steve at Raceway said to take it to the dealership since he couldn't find the smell leak. Called the dealership, they couldn't look at my car for 2 weeks. I was having family in town for my husbands celebration of life so I had to have a car. I had to rent a car for $600 that week. Finally a week later I got into another mechanic, he had my car for all of 30 minutes. He called me and said there was a hose that wasn't connected that was causing the gas smell and yes it would I have been disconnected from the coil job. How did raceway miss a hose not being connected? That would have saved me $600 plus the extra $72 from the new mechanic. I'm so disappointed with them. read more

They did good work at good value, but the delay was insane. An hour and forty-five minutes for an oil change and fluids check? Are you kidding me? I'm hoping I just caught them at a bad time and they're not usually this glacially slow. Pros: The indoor waiting area had well-spaced seating that allowed for social distancing, so at least there's that. The checkout process was smooth, and I appreciated the level of detail on my receipt. Very informative! The employees were friendly and helpful. I've been taking my car to these wonderful people for over 25 years, and they've always been great. They're honest about what needs to be done, always call with an estimate before they do the work and are patient about explaining repairs, etc., and they never pad my bill with work I didn't okay. For years, I had a very old car that they were very helpful about keeping running, and let me know exactly what would be worthwhile and what was probably a waste of money. Now that I have a new car, I'll be taking it here instead of to the dealership, for good value + repairs and maintenance that never have to be re-done, as well as honest advice about what should be done, when. Still the greatest repair service center I have used - upfront, direct & honest evaluations & recommendations! This is my second major repair with Raceway! My Escape lost its transmission in the parking lot at Red Rocks! Not a comfotable situation when the amphitheater turns off all lights and you are sitting in the dark at 1am. I was so upset & anxious - my brain was no longer able to function logically. I was starting to panic...I was unable to figure out what had happened to my car with no warning. My Google searches pointed to transmission trouble, but I was helpless at top of the foothills. Divine intervention led me to finally call AAA and have them meet me. When as asked where I wanted to be towed, I knew the dealership was out for predicted unnecessary high costs, then Raceway Lube Plus popped in my head. Thank heavens! Bob was wonderful, as usual! My transmission had, for lack of technical terms, disolved from the inside out. Bob recommeded a remanufactured transmission since my car had so few miles, it warranted the higher cost, and warranty would also insure against future problems. My vehicle was running ragged w/shaking and pulling. I was recommended here by a collegue that didn't have services done. Based off of his experience with Bob letting him know what was up with car he shared the experience. Two months later I remember the convo ans look them up. The reviews were good so I gave it shot. I have two small children I have in tow often. Having a reliable vehicle is a must. I took my vehicle in on a Monday and found out what was going on (a lot). I came here a while back for a full synthetic oil change. They mislead me to believe that a filter would cost extra to replace during the oil change, and I naively trusted them. Before my son moved, his mother used to take his care here as well as her vehicle. On one visit, they intentionally bent the wiper arm so they could fit an over-sized wiper blade on it. On a later visit, they over-tightened the drain plug, and when they took it to another place, it could not be removed without stripping it and ruining the drain plug. Without a doubt the most incompetent place in town. I would rather ride a bus for the rest of my life than take a car here again. read more

These guys are just the best. Super down to earth, helpful, and they truly go the extra mile to make sure you're taken care of. Brought my vehicle in for a high mileage oil change and to ask them about a problem I had with my tail lights. While going over routine inspections during the oil change, they let me know my air filters could use replacing, but weren't at all "salesy" about it. Given that my vehicle is a pretty old woman, I decided to treat her to the new air filters. She has been running much better since! Afterwards, Ben graciously took the extra time to thoroughly dig in and inspect what the source of my brake light malfunction was; and thereafter, Bob communicated the issues to me and advised me on how to proceed. I was able to order the part I needed and bring my car back in for Ben to install, and it was all done super quick! Their advice helped me save a ton of money, and they got my brake lights working again quickly-- now my old lady mobile is back on the roads and feeling young again! After a horrible experience at another garage nearby, it was time for another oil change and a friend recommended this place. She said they're hard working and honest and she's right. They're courteous, friendly, hard working and honest. In addition to their honesty, the staff received a call that day from someone whom I presume is a long-time customer. The customer had ordered a part which had come in but they wouldn't be able to pick it up to have their car repaired because their spouse suddenly passed away. Now normally at a place like this, one wouldn't expect the staff to really know the customer or their spouse but this team did. The team member's care for the customer while on the phone spoke volumes and then once they hung up, they shared with the rest of the staff who were curious about who that was and what happened. At the moment they found out, this team suddenly changed in my eyes from a group of people who work together to a team who is family. More than one of the guys working there knew exactly who it was who passed away and were visibly shocked and saddened. They quickly gathered themselves together and continued to explain what service had been done to my vehicle and help other customers but it was a meaningful moment to see that care. I'd come back here a thousand times over just to make sure they stay open. These are the kind of people who make a city a community of care. The folks at raceway lube have been nothing but courteous, quick, and price conscious. After moving here from Cali in late November I started to run into car problems. At one point I was even stranded with a dead car. AAA got my car started and I went to raceway because it was close. Then they took me home and picked me up when everything was done. I have since gone back and they were great enough to drive me to work. I had casually mentioned that one of my windows was falling down but didn't have the money for a fix and the jimmy rigged it for me free of charge and very well. I will always use raceway. read more
