I called many places (unnamed) to find out that - in all... it would not happen in Castle Rock. Although the service was good Grease Monkey is now doing a disservice to its customers. I use Mobil One Full Synthetic Oil and when I checked the sticker they put on my windshield it shows only 3000 miles till my next oil change. This is ludicrous as it should be 5000 miles between changes with Mobil One, which can go to 7500 to 10000 miles between changes. Another example of shrinkflation at work and corporate greed. At better than $100.00 for an oil change you would think they would want their customers to get the maximum use between changes. Shame on you Grease Monkey. read more

We were greeted promptly by a friendly gentlemen who got our car checked in and told us that it would only be about 30 minutes. When we returned they had finished. I cannot say enough good about the staff at this Grease Monkey. I live in NW Denver, but try to time my oil changes for when I'm doing stuff with family in Parker. They have always been honest and provided professional service. My visit at the end of December was above and beyond my expectations. It was the first oil change for my new-to-me car. Ends up the oil drain plugs/bolts were rounded by the previous owner. The staff let me know, told me how to remedy it under my warranty, vacuumed the car, as well as checked my fluids and tires...and charged me nothing. They wouldn't even accept a tip. I had just recently had a new ProCharger installed, and when in to have the oil changed on it after the 500 mile break in period. I saw them carrying out a large box of standard oil, and went in to ask them about it. I told them I thought it had a self contained oil system, and they conferred and told me no it was plugged into the engine oil, and they could see the oil line. Then even added to that at the end telling me my car "now takes" 9 quarts of oil...my car has always taken that much. Well after leaving, I called the shop that installed the ProCharger, and they confirmed that it does have a self contained oil system and there is no oil line running to it. At the end of the day, they lied about what they saw to convince me I needed a $130 oil change that I didn't need, and still had to go have the service done that I came in for at a shop that knew what they were doing. I attempted to reach out to the shop to ask them how they were going to remedy this, but clearly they did not want to acknowledge they didn't know what they were doing so straight up ignored me. I will never take another car to this shop, and I suggest anyone reading this does not either. read more

This location is the best I have ever been to. I have been going to for years and they are always so quick and the nicest people ever. They even vacuum out your car and wash your windows every time. I even take our trash secondary car here and they still treat it as well as our much nicer car. I will always go here. read more

This is the single best service experience you can have. I know, grease monkey?!? I've been here at least 4 times before posting this because I keep waiting for them to let me down :) . But you pull up, they greet you, place the order, tell you it will be 15-30 minutes....I go across the street to shop and come back with it always completed before allocated time. Prices are WAY to high for oil changes. For having nothing else in the bay they also took WAY to long. Typically I do my own but I figured I'd give them a shot. Tech told my my car requires synthetic (it doesn't) but I went with it anyway since I use mobile one. read more

Double the price from the dealership for same synthetic oil change. I should have just stuck with the appointment and gone to the dealership, then it is on the CarFax too and the dealership takes the same amount of time so the convenience factor isn't an issue at all. So if you are ok with paying more it is recommended if not I wouldn't recommend at all! Definitely won't be returning, lesson learned read more

got an oil change at another place, and they discovered that the last oil change - at stroh ranch grease monkey - the oil plug had been stripped and needed to be replaced. now how can they be so inept as to strip an oil plug, when this is their business? never going back. the old guy is unconfrontable anyway - the customer is always wrong and they are always right. read more

In terms of a touch free carwash, this does a great job. I bought a premium wash. My only caution and the reason for four stars is that if you have PTSD or any mental condition, be aware that the arm in this wash comes within inches of the windshield at eye level before increasing in height and can feel rather freaky. Just sit back, close your eyes, and wait for it to be over. They might want to have a warning sign at the entrance. read more
