Today, they put scratch marks on my car and accused me of pretending it's new and they can't proof the scratches wasn't there, because the ONE time they didn't take pictures. I pointed out the fresh marks, sitting on top of the dirty car, and the guy basically told me 'it's hearsay...I'm just here to finish out my day, come back tomorrow to talk to the manager, maybe they'll send you to someone they use'. read more

I sat in their waiting room for two hours with no explanation from anyone and when I checked out, I didn't receive an explanation either. If you choose to follow through with work from these guys, make sure to ask lots of questions and ensure that the paperwork they hand you is for YOUR vehicle instead of a vehicle that looks a lot like yours! This has been the worst service/communication I've ever received. Over the course of two months I've called every week to ask about a part for my jeep and I keep being told " Let me check on it and call you back in 30 minutes" " We ordered the wrong part", " We will give you a call next week", " We've fired everyone and have new management". I have never received a call back any time I've been promised. I have to call them and I get told the exact same responses. It's very strange... they also charged me $180 in a "diagnosis" to tell me the part I needed was a new latch ( I went in because I ALREADY knew I needed a new latch). My experience with Clay, Tyler and Michelle (the OM) have been less than satisfactory. From my personal experience, you should find another location to service you. read more

We've taken a few different cars to this shop. They're fast, great communication, and do the job well. We have had a warranty repair for a coolant leak and no questions asked, they fixed the issue at no cost. We've also had them do some exhaust work (cat converter), alternator replacement, water pump, oil changes, diagnostics... we've used them a lot. The only issue I have is their cost for parts. They will do the repair using customer parts, but no warranty if you go that route. If the part fails, that's on you... But, they literally charge 2x retail for the parts they have quoted me when doing repairs. At least that's what I've found when checking on parts they've installed for me. I understand shops need to make a little love on what they install, but they seem high. We all have a choice and I chose to pay them more to do the work so I didn't have to. If you need a reliable shop that does good work, and you don't mind paying a little extra, they're good. Will they recommend stuff for preventive maintenance and try to upsell you? Yes, of course they will, but they've never recommended something to me that I wasn't already expecting. No complaints, I'm just whining about their parts pricing, which is why I only gave 4 stars. read more

I had a 2:30 oil change appointment today 8-12-24. I checked my vehicle in and went to the waiting room. At 3:30 they front desk person came and said they has personnel issues and my oil change would be delayed. They let me sit an hour and did not touch my truck, when they could have told me at 2:30 they had issues and asked if I wanted to come back or wait longer. Horrible customer service to waste an hour of a customers time with poor communication. Service should not be part of this companies name. read more

I took my dodge in to get a power steering pump and.... They had to disconnect my radiator to get to it, very clear, not even 12 hours later 2 hours from home my radiator exploded, I drove it home from the shop noticed a hissing dismissed it (dumb I know) checked it next time after I drove a few miles and she drank A whole entire bottle of ANTI-freeze, I'm 99% sure it wasn't filled back up after they disconnected it, So I filled it up and went about my day, At around 12am last. Night my radiator blew up launching coolant all over the side of my truck. Now I called this morning to ask them and they were pretty sure they did have to disconnect it for the pump but they 100% didn't know what they were talking about. But now i haven't had my truck for what's going to be 2 days after another 2 days so 4 days without my truck and losing wages, my truck had 0 issues besides the power steering pump and now my radiator is blown. Pretty upset definitely don't want to take it back to them especially if they're crappy about doing work they messed up on, I don't want to have to worry about my truck again, I didn't before.. Bad news - do not go to the Parker Hess Road location. I ended up missing a cover under the car and when I called they said they never miss replacing all the covers. Well, this is the second time they have missed replacing parts. I foolishly decided to give them a 2nd chance and get CVT service. The person answering the phone said to hold for the manager (Michelle) who after putting me on hold for 15 minutes minutes decided not to deal with the problem and instead let her staff try to say they would not fix it. This is after waiting 3 weeks for an answer I because the manager said all work is video recorded and now I'm being told they cannot get the recording. Humm - seems there is a gap between a lie and the truth. Makes me wonder about the quality of mechanics doing the work and the quality of parts being used. Just how do you know if you got the oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, coolant, differential fluid, new part they claim or a cheap substitute?? I had recently purchased the BEST, lifetime warrantee KYB units from Les Schwab just down the street (great people). I asked what he meant by "worn out"? He said the paint on them was scratched. No leaks, just scratched paint. I laughed and asked, "You mean like from going up & down, as shocks do?" So, he changes his plan and says, "Well, your transmission's leaking." I replied "No it's not. There are no drips on my garage floor." He changes his plan again. "Your CV boots are torn." I said, "No they're not. I just looked at them. SHOW ME." Took my car there for tire rotation and oil change took off from there and car over heated had to get it towed to a shop pull the radiator found three big holes in it with a broken fan blade both me and the mechanic said something was dropped from the top and hit the fan then went onto the radiator took the parts to them to look at and they said it could not have happen there I said so what else could of happen they have no clue I just know things like that just don't happen all by itself I worked on cars about sixty years you tell me what happened I said I would furnish the labor just pay for the parts but they refused so am saying buyer beware!!!! read more

Just called to get an estimate to get spark plugs changed in my truck and they say I have to bring it in for the estimate? I would say this sounds sketchy. Dont go here.... tried to hook us for unnecessary repairs. taken our vehicles here for a few months, at first they seemed that they were trustworthy and had not had any issues with the quality of work. then our 2004 subaru outback was brought in for a cylinder 2 misfire. they claimed we needed a new head gasket and wanted over $3500 for the work (which was almost a grand over the most expensive place we checked online). we asked why they were so much higher then other places and their response was "maybe its time for a new car"... We told them to give us our car back and took it to a subaru only shop that told us if it was the head gasket it would be $2200. after inspecting the vehicle they told us the head gasket was fine and the cause of the misfire ended up being $600 to fix. WTF service street?? we will no longer go anywhere near this place with our vehicles. would NOT recommend to anyone. read more

BEWARE: DISHONEST PRICING. I came in with pre-purchased UCA's, front strut assemblies, rear coils, springs, and spacers. I was quoted "$1350 out the door with alignment" to install. I explained I was installing wheels and tires at a separate shop that included alignment and I didn't need that service. They stated that was a $117 cost and would be removed. Doing the math, out the door cost should have been $1233... they charged me a whopping $1463 on pickup. Absolutely outrageous for this amount of suspension work but more importantly, they were dishonest. I would have NEVER got the job done quoted that cost. $230 over their quote for a simple suspension swap. DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

We had called asked for a quote on putting some brake rotors and pads on that we bought ourselves they quoted us for $230 for labor and taxes so we booked an appointment for 10am Saturday and arrive right on time for our appointment for them to not start working on the car till 1:30-2:00pm. At 4pm they tell us it will be done in 45 min and they still don't finish till about 6:00 so we waited for 8 hours. When they gave us our bill they charged over $700 in labor when over the phone they told us a completely different price and when I told them that they said whoever told us that was wrong so they completely did us wrong and didn't even try to make it right! Went in for a "Pre-Purchase Inspection" for a vehicle I was considering from a private party. The report from Service Street came back with minor details but was overall clean. I purchased the vehicle feeling confident and the very next morning it would not start. From time of purchase a month ago, this vehicle has been nothing but a problem and mechanically nothing relating to the report. My advise is not to waste money on an inspection. read more

My wife and I had terrible experience here. What was supposed to be a simple oil change turned into a disaster. Apparently one of the services representatives didn't put the oil cap/screw back on properly. After the oil change was completed and driving around running a few errands we parked the car in the garage. The vehicle was primarily used only to commute from home to work (approximately 65 miles one way) and parked in our third car garage the rest of the time. When Monday came I found a little (dime size) bit of oil on the floor of our garage. I thought it was just a little residual/excess spillage from the oil change. When I got home that evening I parked the car in the same spot. A few weeks went bye and the same routine. One morning I came out to our garage to find the dime sized oil spot turned to a little puddle. I took pictures, called Service Street and explained the situation and had it towed back for them to look at. They took two days to make an assessment and said the oil cap was missing and the engine block had a crack. They provided me with a quote but said they would have never incorrectly put the oil cap on and took no responsibility. The best they could do was provide a quote (~$3000) for a replacement engine. When I had AAA pick the car up, Services Street had left the oil pan, nuts and bolts, etc. on top of the vehicles engine and loosely closed the hood with parts on top. When I asked about it the service representative was extremely rude and stated they left it that way because they didn't have time to put it back due to a snow storm we had the day before. They had other vehicles that needed to be moved. I then had the vehicle towed to a different garage for a second opinion. I ultimately ended up paying for a the cost of a replacement engine all because an oil cap was improperly screwed on by Service Street. read more

They told me it will cost $69.0 when I come in. I had a $20 coupon. They said they will endorse it. The bill comes out with $69.0 + $25 labor +$35 oil filter -$20 coupon. Basically, they rack up the charge for additional $60 to give me a $20 rebate. You figure it out. They try to convince me to pay another $179 for engine flush and oil brake. I declined. Do not come this place for any service. I hate scammer. I am lucky enough to see they try to steal another $179 for a service I donot need. Shame on you. Need oil change , go to Walmart, it will cost $54.99 for top synthetic oil including labor and oil filter. No bull shit. read more

My my have things changed from the last time I went here! There's a awesome new owner Tyler Lively and he's great!! I rolled into the shop tears rolling down my face thinking I was not gonna get my car fixed for awhile! Left break broke while I was driving literally rolled in to the dirt hill in front of the parking spot to stop the car it was a very stressful drive! Although he couldn't look at it that night he got it into the shop and looked at it first thing in the morning pretty much need a whole new front break system or at least that's what it sounded like to me. He was able to get it done while I was at work and explained what was going on very well, he also didn't try to rope me into getting other things done that were unnecessary while also providing a list of leaks that should be fixed from what was top priority to low priority. Honestly it was a breath of fresh air and I will definitely be going back to get more work done. TYLER IS THE BEST AND HE WILL DO RIGHT BY YOU AND YOUR CAR!! read more

I rate this business with one star and would not use it again for the following reasons; It is recommended that drain plugs, especially plastic ones be replaced, at least the o-rings on them. They did neither and before the next change it started leaking oil. Not knowing why oil was on my driveway, I took it to the dealer. It cost me $250 to find out it was just the plug because it wasn't replaced by Grease Monkey, therefore no warranty. With documentation and the old plug (I had the dealer change the oil) I returned to Grease Monkey to present my case. The manager said he was new to the location but would contact the area supervisor, which he did while I was standing there. The supervisor never called back, even after repeated calls by the manager. Getting your expensive vehicles (mine is a 2021) serviced there is risky. I'm not rating all Grease Monkeys, just this one. Maybe it's different with the new manager. I suppose I can't expect them to have a plug for every car out there but they should tell you they don't have one and needs to be delivered. They could say something before they even start the job. Then one could decide if one wants to wait. They cost me a lot of money and don't have the professional courtesy to respond to the problem. Never going back. read more

I have nothing but good things to say. My battery went dead, and I initially went to a different place to have it repaired. While there, the technician dropped a piece in my engine and couldn't find it. Service Streets owner, Tyler, who happened to be there, offered for me to bring my car to Service Street so he could help me find the part the other company lost. Brought my car in at 7am thinking I would be in and out. An hour and a half later they inform me they don't have an oil filter that fits my vehicle. Seriously? That's your whole job. And then my kid is screaming because she's hungry because I shouldn't be here for 2 hours getting something done that takes 15 minutes. 2 days later my car is leaking oil all over the place. Why you ask? Well it's probably because after the lady told me they didn't have my proper oil filter in the store, some high school drop out comes around the corner and says to the other guy "I found one that fits". Just because it fits doesn't mean it's the right filter...Which is precisely why my garage is covered in 5w30 right now. When I call to tell them what's going on they say to me "oh we would never put a filter on that wasn't the right one". Well thats funny because I was standing right there when you said you didn't have one and then 2 seconds later the guy says he found one that fits, not that he found the filter for my car. My mom has taken her car there many times and each time they find a way to scam her and take advantage of how nice she is. She want in for a oil change because it's cheaper there. Well that's for a good reason they charge other things on the bill and when you ask about them they say "Well we called and you said it was ok" or "We sent a email and you said it was ok" without being able to prove they called or emailed you. The "Extra service I'm talking about are things like a "Fuel line flush to get rid of the carbon build up in the fuel lines" or a car that has less than 50k miles all the sudden needs a coolant flush. They say professionals work there but I was able to do a better job my self than they were able to.
