While the overall service is ok, I had a scary visit during my visit at Rickenbaugh oil change. Keep your head in a swivel while visiting there, a car technician ( I believe he was test driving a serviced car) sped out of a blind alley and nearly hit me. I saw him and he saw me, and he kept driving and sped off aggressively. I had just dropped my car off for service. Thank god I didn't allow my pregnant wife to take the car or else it could have been her that could have been hit by the technician. I reported it to the service manager and didn't hear anything back. They apologized and asked I didn't leave a bad review. I took my 06 Cadillac for a simple oil change and tire rotation, they claimed they did a full inspection but couldn't show me paperwork or proof of this inspection. Had my car for 4 years and its had some minor issues but after letting them work on it it wont go 3 miles without overheating it completely died on me for the first time ever and my break system that I replaced months prior to this now has to be re serviced I wish I had never taken my car there. If you have an older model thats in working condition think twice before letting them touch it, they purposely ruined my car so id have to buy a new one and im sure it was all about money once I get a new evaluation that proves this i will be taking legal action. Trusting these people with my car cost me nearly 2000$ just so it will drive stay away from these money hungry dealerships and choose a company that's honest. read more

From customer service, to handling any questions I may have and to just treating me so well I will never switch dealers. I have had good experiences before with Rickenbaugh Cadillac but this trip I had a salesman by the name of David Sloane he's not a very good salesman he just wants to make a pay check. First of all I purchased a car a couple of months ago still have the temp tag attached to the car and had a blown tire due to the tires on the car being dangerously having lack of tread on them. I'm first a female so he got over by telling me that he sold me the car as is and didn't give a crap about my safety and how I couldn't have been injured when the tire blew. I have a report from a licensed tire shop that did the inspection all 4 tires including the blown tire and was told the tread was 3-4 that's really bad. So DO NOT BUY A CAR WITH DAVID SLOANE he's horrible and has no compassion for anyone else but himself. read more

Very frustrated with Rickenbaugh and the complete lack of customer service. After test driving a used vehicle that I was very interested in, the salesman took the keys from me and said someone else was purchasing--without asking if I was interesting in purchasing or not. Then a few weeks later, I saw a car online, made an appointment to go see the car. As I was driving into the parking lot of Rickenbaugh, I got a phone call stating that the car was not available and they were not sure why it had even been listed on the website. I was prepared to buy this vehicle that morning. I went home frustrated. UPDATED 12/6/2022 It took a while but Holidays and work was hectic until I found time to update this review. So the same day that I originally wrote the original review, the owner of Rickenbaugh called me to rectify the situation. We ended up with making another appointment to "repair" the top dash cover. I didn't think it could be repaired considering there was separation and there was a crack in the trim. Well, I dropped it off and I was already told I there would be no loaners available. Not a big deal, I had my wife go with me to drop off the car in the morning since we both WFH. I told the service rep we will be back the next day to pick it up. Next day, I called to let the rep know that we would be late. Well, he told me that the car wasn't finished anyways because they had to let it dry and the tech was suppose to be in the shop later to attach it. So the day after I went to pick the vehicle up. I cannot recommend any work that Rickenbaugh Cadillac does. The dash looks even worse than before. I have attached new pics of the after. The trim is even more noticeable. All that was needed to be done was just replace the top dash cover. This weak attempt at "repairs" was a slap to the face. Air bubbles look untouched. Updated pictures. 11/8/2022 First of all, I am writing in reference to the Service department. Not the sales. About a month ago my wife and I went to purchase another vehicle for her. She fell in love with a used '17 XT5. After doing a walk around of the entire vehicle, I noticed a small crack on the windshield. We aren't the one to haggle on pricing, so we made a sale based on Dave throwing in a windshield replacement when the part came in. So far everything is great. We got the call from Dave about a week ago to come in to replace the windshield because the windshield is in. On that Friday morning of the scheduled repair, there was a slight misunderstanding when I went in to get the windshield replaced but the service advisor Ryan there was friendly in getting the car dropped off and myself getting a loaner from Dave. I was called about 30 minutes before closing to come pick up the vehicle. If you ever been to the service department here, you would drive into a garage which is not well illuminated. I took a look once over and windshield looks good, so I drove home. Now the headache. As I was driving home, I noticed air bubbles on the dash and a crack on the dash trim right against the windshield. I have been the one driving my wife's vehicle every day because her XT5 is a lot easier on gas than my GX460. I have been looking at that dash for several weeks so I would notice if the dash was damaged. Service department is closed so I'll handle it in the morning. In my mind, I was thinking they can see the damage, shouldn't be a big deal. Now on to the next morning. I stopped by and spoke with the service advisor Ryan. He told me that no managers are in and that I would have to come back Monday. Okay, not a big deal, I'll just wait until Monday. I came back on Monday and met again with Ryan. He told me that the manager took off early for a medical emergency. Okay, stuff happens. I took his card just to confirm that a manager is present before I bring the car in. Tuesday is here and I got confirmation that a manager is on site. I come in and the manager first tells me air bubbles are common on an XT5 Platinum. I'm pointing out other air bubbles and that the dash is warped like something was wedged to help take the windshield off. Again, his rebuttal is they don't touch the dash and they would remove the windshield from the outside. Finally I hit him with the crack on the dash trim. That he says they probably broke (even though they don't touch the dash). He said they would mend it. I don't know how you would mend a dash trim without replacing it. (Also, replacing that top dash trim would've replaced the air bubbles and warped portion of the dash) I told him that the bubbles were not there, and he responded that heat would create the bubbles. Kinda funny that when we bought the vehicle, it was already cool, and the car is garage kept except for picking up kids and running errands. We both work from home. His final hail mary came at saying that his technician notated that it already had air bubbles. It wasn't in the system, but (after going to his office) he produced an invoice written in pen that it had bubbles. I have the same invoice by the way with no pen notes or anything citing air bubbles. I will be taking it to another Cadillac dealership to get the top dash replaced and just taking Rickenbaugh through smalls claims. The original crack on the windshield was small and was less obtrusive than the eyesore dash that was a result of getting it replaced. I have always delt with large dealerships for vehicle service because I was always biased that they didn't have grimy practices, but I guess it happens even with big dealerships. read more

What a horrible experience. I am in the car business and would never think I'd leave a bad review for another dealer. I waited for a car for 3 weeks and they said finance just needed time to work on it but after 3 weeks of waiting and passing up on other cars they said they don't want to lease the car out of state. every day it was a different story about not being able to have the time to finalize my paperwork. For 3 weeks I was told they were just busy. Finally I saw they sold the car on the website and then when I messaged again they said it was too much "red tape" to lease me the car. My issue with how they handled the deal is I don't think they were honest from the jump. I kept asking to make sure that they could do it because I started to get the run around. I wish I was treated in good faith and if they ONCE TOLD ME IT MIGHT BE DIFFICULT I would've understood and gone somewhere else. They kept me on the hook and they never said there would be any issue it just would take time. Instead of being honest they dragged me around for 3 weeks promising me the car only to not sell it. I was so patient and had no issues with waiting for weeks but then to blatantly make up a story after they sold the car is crazy. Horrible customer experience. Horrible. I would not have expected I'd be doing a review of an auto service department, but this crew is so outstanding I had to. Obviously, a lot of car maintenance can be a nuisance all the way up to a full-blown migraine. At least, to me, it is. But working with the folks here at Rickenbauch keeps it from being anything more than an entry on your calendar. They are fast, friendly, and they get it right every time. And you can be 100% certain that your car was taken care of with the highest standards. While everybody I've had an experience with here has been excellent, I do want to mention one person by name, Keith. I had a problem with my spare tire hoist, and I called Rickenbaugh. Jeremy Breaux called me about 7 PM after hours, knowing that I really needed his help. Discovered that my 2011 Cadillac CTS4 Coupe's water pump had failed, an easy enough job to do on my own with my fake mechanic skills. Unfortunately the previous owner of car decided to use some kind of unknown coolant which wasn't OEM for my car. With that discovery I decided to take the car to the pros. I just don't have the proper equipment to handle that amount of hazardous waste and also the engine should be throughly flushed. I know it can be done, but I know my limits as a fake mechanic. I called Rickenbaugh Cadillac and spoke with Chris Wells and a service advisor named Blaise (hope that is correct) I explained my situation and they both were very helpful and answered many questions and concerns I had on multiple phone calls. You have to understand I don't trust anyone with my cars so if I get a bad vibe I stay away. They both were very friendly and patient with me, so I knew my Cadillac would be also. I got to the dealership with the car via a tow truck around 2pm, so I went back home, fully expecting to pick him up the next day. Well at around 445pm I get a call telling me the car was ready, WOW I was stunned, mostly pleasantly surprised. I'm sure that's not the norm, but I attribute that quick turnaround to an awesome staff at Rickenbaugh from advisors to mechanics. Yes, having them do the job for me was more expensive than me doing the job, but for what I needed done it was worth it. I had a peace of mind knowing that hazardous waste was taken care of. I highly recommend Rickenbaugh Cadillac for their service. But do your research and see what it takes to get your car fixed correctly, I encourage the DIYer, but know your limits too. read more

I purchased a used Lexus GX460 from out of state and sight unseen which should help set the table for a complicated transaction. I worked with Donnie P who made the purchase seamless. He recorded a number of videos and took pictures to help me get comfortable with the vehicle's condition. Donnie even helped me find an auto transport company that was cheaper than quotes I found. When the car was delivered, the condition was what I hoped for and what was represented to me. The morning after I took delivery I noticed a small oil leak. I took the GX to my preferred mechanic and sent Donnie some pictures so he was aware. It turned out to be minor and Rickenbough offered to split the bill. I've read these reviews and I gotta say these folks must be friends with the guys in service because in reality they are horrible at customer service!! I took my truck in for headlight replacements because someone put after market headlights in and I wanted them returned to the original lights!!! I was told by Ryan that the cost would be $800 and it would take a half a day to be done I agreed this was three weeks ago. After 4 days of no call backs I get a call saying they waiting on parts to come in then he said the parts were lost! I went and picked my truck up and they still charged me $250 for doing absolutely NOTHING!! I got home ordered the lights, ballast and caps they said was needed it took one day I got all parts for $275 i jumped on YouTube watched one video went out and replaced the lights and all turned out I didn't even need the ballast like they said I did they actually told me they would call me once the parts got in and I still haven't heard from them smh!!! Ryan sat there and told me he did drugs most of his life and also alcohol so I think all of that has messed with his brain!! They have to know that I have officially filed a lawsuit wanting to recoup the money I lost for them four days of missing work and also the charge of $250 when they did absolutely NOTHING!! I remember Rickenbaugh being one of the most upstanding businesses but that has Definently changed I will never use them again and I hope no one else does when it comes to service I can't speak for the other departments! Less than a year ago at purchase my experience was exceptional, 5 stars. Took my XT5 in to service a faulty hazard switch last week and my expectations were not met with the same exceptional service at purchase. This may just be due to lack of expectation being set, however you wouldn't expect Rickenbaugh to miss that. My XT5 went in spotless and came out very dirty. Also the seat presets were lost. No big deal. I've reset them and washed the car. Just not up to par for what was expected. Update. The owner contacted me directly and apologized for the oversight and offered a complete detail of my XT5 to make up for my experience. I look forward to revisiting their service center. read more

Another 15 minutes went by, and I finally left. I guess they have so much business they don't need mine. However there were no other customers looking at cars at the time. Location is great right off broadway, and service was great. Service was quick and efficient. Only needed regular maintenance on this trip, and was in and out. All of my life in Colorado my mother has purchased Cadillacs from Rickenbaugh, so when my son was in an accident in his Cadillac I naturally assumed they were the best place to take it to. Our insurance adjuster was there early this morning to do the estimate and then advised the service department not to do anything with the vehicle until a decision was made. Then the service manager decided to sign off on the car being towed to salvage lot although there was only $1,800 worth of damage. My son went from Castle Rock to Denver only to find out that his car had been towed away to Littleton. After going to Littleton, they refused to tell him who signed for the car to be towed. We are now on the hook for the tow back to the shop where we're having the car repaired. Both of service manager Mike, and the general manager refuse to admit any wrongdoing, or a correct their mistake by reimbursing us for the tow as well as the time it took for my son to run all over town with a 3 week old. I'm absolutely disgusted, and would never recommend Rickenbaugh for a purchase, or service on a Cadillac. read more

I recently has to make a last minute service appointment with Rickenbaugh for my STS. The entire process was so extremely professional. It was clean, fast, and most importantly, serviced with the up-most care and attention to detail. Joe helped me set u my appointment and discussed the prices. I dropped off in the morning, Joe called with updates throughout the morning, and I was driving off the lot by Noon! My car now runs like new, and was even washed prior to pick-up.
