I turned to Tynan's, looked them up online, read the reviews, and while any business is going to have a couple negative comments, the majority of the reviews were positive. I couldn't agree more. From my intake with Danielle, to my sales person David to Sam and Marlin, the whole staff is amazing. They really want to do what it takes to not only get you in a car, but help you get to a payment that is budget comfortable. Plus, they have a huge number of lenders that they work with. I know every dealership offers "challenged credit" services, but those companies and banks tend to trigger a credit inquiry of every bank, whereas with Tynan's I had 1 inquiry and that was it. I strongly recommend that if your credit isn't great, give them a try. I will definitely be back down the road to buy from them again!

Now, I understand its a free service that not many dealerships offer so I appreciate it. However, getting it to go back to the dealership was a mess. I was told they run until 4 to 4:30, so when I'm available at 3, I call and they say its all good and they'll add me to the list. I call again 30 minutes later, they say the driver should call or be on the way. At 4 I call again, they say he's on the way. At 4:30 I call again and they seem annoyed, saying he is on the way to me now. I live 7 minutes from the dealership. At 4:45 I call a Lyft. When I get to Nissan they say he stopped driving at 4pm and went home. If I had known it would be that long of a wait, and that no matter what the driver goes home at 4, at that first call I would have called a Lyft and I would have saved 2 hours of time I needed to prep for my flight. My A/C was working when I arrived, and the caps were on the A/C service ports under the hood. When I got my vehicle back, BOTH A/C service-port caps were suddenly missing and my A/C was blowing HOT AIR. It gets worse. I later discovered material described as sealant/dye in the A/C service port, and the port is now blocked. Then, after my A/C mysteriously stopped working while my vehicle was in their possession, I was told they could check the A/C for approximately $430. Seriously? I'm not going to accuse a specific employee of doing something I didn't personally witness, but I cannot come up with a reasonable explanation for how my vehicle went into this dealership with working A/C and the caps installed, and came back with the caps missing, the A/C blowing hot, and an A/C service port obstructed. I BROUGHT THE VEHICLE HERE FOR THE TRANSMISSION. There was absolutely no reason for the A/C service-port caps to be removed in the first place. I've gone over this repeatedly trying to come up with another reasonable explanation because the situation is honestly difficult to believe. But regardless of how it happened, my vehicle was in their care when this occurred. And then asking me for another $430 to diagnose the new A/C problem is completely unacceptable. I want Nissan management to explain what happened to my vehicle and why the A/C service-port caps disappeared while it was in their possession. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in this service department. I strongly recommend documenting the condition of your vehicle before leaving it here.

I obtained a Hyundai Tucson in 2018 and did a refinance through Autopay in 2020 who connected me with PFCU. All was good until the vehicle had some mechanical issues and neither did the Autopay gap insurance or warranty with PFCU cover anything. This happened twice and I had to take out two repair loans to fix the issues; of which I am still paying off. Hyundai cars from year 2014 - 2017 have had various recalls and major mechanical issues reported for the last few years. Hyundai dealership was not helpful either. As of February 2023 the vehicle malfunctioned again, and definitely could not afford another repair loan. Thus I contacted PFCU to ask for a voluntary Repo and they stated to try and sell it myself first because that's their company policy. I took 2 weeks and tried to get a buyer and no one was interested. During that time, I asked for a deferment of payment and PFCU granted that request for one month. I had to obtain another car which is $400 more than what I was paying for the old one. Thus I called PFCU and spoke again to the collections dept to update them about the situation and advise that I can no longer pay for a vehicle that has a transmission issue and is too dangerous to drive when it is shaking with a loud ticking noise. The voluntary repo paperwork was signed electronically and put in process. They even discontinued the credit card that I had through them, of which both were in good standing before all this transpired. I have spoken to 2-3 reps between Feb and now June who stated that the voluntary repo was in process and every conversation was notated of what i said, and today 6/7/23 I spoke to yet another rep who said that she only saw the call from February. She said that the company will not come get the vehicle if it doesnt work and that the car note is over due 67 days. I told her thats a lie, because the previous reps told me that someone would call me to get the car towed so PFCU will try to sell it as is for what is owed on it. Thus the Tucson has been sitting at my apartment complex since February. I transferred the insurance from the old vehicle to the new one; and PFCU sent a letter stating that they applied insurance to it and that amount would be added to the remaining balance. This is the worst experience I have had with any bank / credit union about a car. If anyone reads this, I highly advise that you do not do any business with them.

Instead, I was just told that my car was ready: This most recent time, I had got rear-ended and had 2 main issues that I wanted solved: for the beeping of my trunk to be turned off and for the airbag system malfunction notification to be taken care of. I dropped off my car after 5 and heard nothing the entire day after apart from the services I needed to approve. I texted the number that I was given to get in contact with my service advisor. I had messaged it several times and got no response. Turns out my advisor was out for the day and the messages only go to them. Which doesn't make sense to me. Shouldn't there be consistent communication regardless of if my service advisor is in for the day or not? I eventually was informed after calling, that my car was ready and that the advisor was finishing up the paperwork. I showed up and the paperwork was not finished. The beeping sound still existed in my car, but this was one of the two things I had asked to be fixed. It was not communicated to me that this did not happen. I have only experienced frustration with Stevinson Toyota East these past two times and will not get my car serviced here anymore. Would not recommend this Toyota.

They have a nice waiting area and the coffee machine actually made some good French Vanilla espresso. The wifi is good so I was able to do some work on my laptop while waiting for my Lyft home. Oh did I mention they partner with Lyft to give you a ride home and back? The recall took several days so the free Lyft home was a nice touch. Luckily I have another car so I wasn't dependent on a loaner since they don't provide one. They also did a complete inspection and found some minor issues that I will have my local mechanic fix. I decided to write a review since I had a good purchase and service experience with this dealership.
