I bought a car from these people under the impression that they helped people who were trying to…read moreget on their feet after being stuck in the lower side of life example prostitutes drug dealers people who just got out of jail homeless people etc etc I went bankrupt and lost my home after taking care of my grandmother and somebody suggested them to me I thought I was grabbing a great deal with the 2007 that only had 75,000 mi on it I was promised a warranty by the salesman that spoke to me and was told I had one not even 2 weeks into having the vehicle major electrical issue started to happen crazy things like dash lights wouldn't come on unless you started the car with the e-brake off You can't turn the blinkers on when you have the brights on the owner and his son both informed me that I did not have any type of warranty even though a warranty is something that they advertise when purchasing any car through them they fought me tooth and nail and then finally told me that they would take a look at the car and fix it on good faith after taking the car they told me there's nothing wrong with the vehicle and that I was crazy including telling me that the two gigantic holes in the air intake valve were supposed to be there The thing was covered in black duct tape head to toe low and behold it turns out that they had wired the car with one small dingy red wire going from the left headlight to the other one they still told me there's nothing wrong with the vehicle and to come pick it up but on my way there they told me that something had happened and that they needed to replace something four days later than for me that I'm going to have to pay almost $300 in order to come and get the vehicle even though they told me that they weren't going to charge me anything at all effectively holding the car hostage when I finally got the car back they hadn't done anything to it at all It immediately messed up again doing the exact same thing and not to mention the fact that they forced me to pay the towing the first time back to their lot to fix it So they did no work at all on it forced me to pay for the towing and then we're charging me an extra $300 for doing nothing at all The moment that I suggested that I might have to talk to any legal representation if they couldn't help me out both the owner and the son immediately blocked me clearly showing that this is not their first rodeo currently they are trying to ignore my phone calls and messages knowing that I live 45 minutes away hoping that I don't pay the final bill and so that they can come and repo the vehicle and start their scam all over again This dealership is a complete rat hole if you've ever seen Matilda the movie imagine her father that is exactly who you're going to be dealing with Do not buy anything at all from these people they are experienced scammers praying on the week and actually declaring out loud that they're helping the lower side people The salesman who sold me the vehicle actually quit because he didn't like the practice that they were doing honestly burn it with fire burn the whole place down when you talk about the scum of the earth here you go. The lady forgot to give us the temp plate so we could legally take it out for a test drive. Nelson told us that if we changed our minds about the purchase we could get our deposit back. The big ole girl with the red hair was right there when he said it but she marked "non refundable" on our deposit slip. We ended up having to pay the $200 and learned a valuable lesson that day ( but we avoided spending $7k on a lemon) I am not disparaging Nelson or trying to be petty because he spent all afternoon with us and i feel like his heart was in the right place. What was really cold was his coworker with the bad dye job said " Nelson hasn't been working here long and he doesn't know all the policies..." I love the vehicle Joe sold me so much, so luckily I'm able to ship it to where I'm relocating. The DMV is experiencing pretty bad delays due to COVID, so if I were to register the car completely, I'd be stuck in Denver for another month or more trying to get an appointment. Joe saved me by extending my temporary tags by 2 months so I can get to where I need to with enough time to get registration sorted out. On top of it all, he asked me to let him know when I get to my destination safely. The pickup agent was kind, professional, and very organized. He called 30 minutes before arriving, showed up exactly when he said he would, completed the inspection using the Carvana survey, presented the updated offer, and had me sign the revised paperwork on the spot. The bank wire was sent immediately, and I received confirmation from both Carvana and my bank that the money was on its way. The entire process took about 30 minutes total and required maybe two minutes of my actual time. No dealership, no waiting around, no pressure. After the pickup, I asked if I had needed to clean the car beforehand. Turns out I didn't. After about an hour I drove off with my new car! A 2015 Volkswagen Golf TDI. I was amazed at how quickly Pat handled the financing process. I had a few concerns about two warning lights the next day, and Dave was fantastic about getting it in to check things out. It ended up being something small, and I was on the way back to Durango. I got 46.1 mpg on the trip home, and I love my new car. I feel confident that the diesel engine will outlast the body! With only 64K, it will run forever. I'm appreciative of the "no hassle" approach and an inventory of quality used cars that Best Car Buys had to offer. I came home after I purchased the vehicle and was trying to learn more about the vehicle options and then found out the sticker was very misleading. I called the GM at Best Car Buys and he said he is not responsible for the sticker on the window. He said he is not going to assist in getting the problem solved. I then had to contact the DOT Inspector General and open up an investigation for fraud. DO NOT buy from this terrible dealership!!!!!
