Log story short. I needed an SUV…read more I did my research, asked around, and the most highly recommended vehicle was a Toyota. I've driven Ford's, Dodge's, Chevy's and Nissan's. Looking over the millions of car websites, I found a 2010 Nissan Pathfinder below my budget, in a color I like with accessories that work for me. I got a call from Kevin, and he was wonderful. I'm always dining a few minutes late, and my husband broke his leg, but he was understanding and it took a few days to get it done, but I got y Highlander! Financing always takes a while, and I'm in a mess with a previous accident, but they were able to get it done for me (again, below my budget)!! I had a great experience and the next time I need a vehicle, I'll definitely check out inventory at Springs Automotive group. Check them out, ask for Kevin and tell them Janna sent ya!!

Buyer be very aware. My son bought a Jeep Cherokee paying an average price for a vehicle with the…read moremilage (30k aprox) and wear this vehicle had. It had a clean Carfax report and title. After a couple of months it became more and more aparent that the vehicle had been in some level of accident. The longer he drove it the more we noticed indications of significant damage. In the interim I had also purchased a vehicle from them with 12k miles. Looked great and again, had a clean Carfax report and title. however within a couple of weeks I again started to notice tell tell signs of significant damage. TRD decals on truck bed were slightly different, front tire had a light rub due to bent steering components, hood was very slightly the wrong size etc. In my mind I have no doubt that somehow they are buying and fixing vehicles that have been damaged to a fair extent if not totalled and keeping this from being documented on the paperwork. If it had happened once I might have doubts but to have a 100% occurrence I have no doubts. However I have no absolute proof and therefore this is speculation on my part and I could be wrong. So just be aware and pay close attention when dealing with this institution. I would have selected 0 or negative stars were it possible

I'm putting Pentagon Federal Credit Union, Autopay and Hyundai on blast…read more... This credit union was ok until it wasn't. I obtained a Hyundai Tucson in 2018 and did a refinance through Autopay in 2020 who connected me with PFCU. All was good until the vehicle had some mechanical issues and neither did the Autopay gap insurance or warranty with PFCU cover anything. This happened twice and I had to take out two repair loans to fix the issues; of which I am still paying off. Hyundai cars from year 2014 - 2017 have had various recalls and major mechanical issues reported for the last few years. Hyundai dealership was not helpful either. As of February 2023 the vehicle malfunctioned again, and definitely could not afford another repair loan. Thus I contacted PFCU to ask for a voluntary Repo and they stated to try and sell it myself first because that's their company policy. I took 2 weeks and tried to get a buyer and no one was interested. During that time, I asked for a deferment of payment and PFCU granted that request for one month. I had to obtain another car which is $400 more than what I was paying for the old one. Thus I called PFCU and spoke again to the collections dept to update them about the situation and advise that I can no longer pay for a vehicle that has a transmission issue and is too dangerous to drive when it is shaking with a loud ticking noise. The voluntary repo paperwork was signed electronically and put in process. They even discontinued the credit card that I had through them, of which both were in good standing before all this transpired. I have spoken to 2-3 reps between Feb and now June who stated that the voluntary repo was in process and every conversation was notated of what i said, and today 6/7/23 I spoke to yet another rep who said that she only saw the call from February. She said that the company will not come get the vehicle if it doesnt work and that the car note is over due 67 days. I told her thats a lie, because the previous reps told me that someone would call me to get the car towed so PFCU will try to sell it as is for what is owed on it. Thus the Tucson has been sitting at my apartment complex since February. I transferred the insurance from the old vehicle to the new one; and PFCU sent a letter stating that they applied insurance to it and that amount would be added to the remaining balance. This is the worst experience I have had with any bank / credit union about a car. If anyone reads this, I highly advise that you do not do any business with them.

AUTOPAY also did not provide the loan I agreed to. Instead, they tried to sell me warranties and…read moreother coverage products. I contacted them to refinance my vehicle, and the process left me feeling misled and pressured to purchase additional products. I am requesting a written explanation of why the agreed-upon loan was not provided, along with identification of the six credit inquiries, the lenders involved, and the authorization relied upon for each pull. I also request that AUTOPAY work with the lenders and credit bureaus to remove any inquiries made without valid authorization or reported in error. Consumers deserve clear loan terms, transparent credit disclosures, and an honest refinancing process. Based on my experience, I would not recommend AUTOPAY.
