They told me to only take it to mechanics that specialize on foreign vehicles but the shop that does inspections for the vehicles they sell does not. They suggested I take the car to said shop and they themselves told me they don't specialize on foreign vehicles and had no idea what was wrong with my car. Yet they're the ones who inspected it for Cherry Creek to sell it.

They sold us a vehicle with a leaking engine oil pan and leaking shocks -- issues that clearly should have been caught before selling the car. When we brought this up, we were told they would fix any "major issue." Yet when we presented documentation, instead of taking responsibility, John Mudd claimed the GM report was fake. Calling an official GM diagnostic report "fake" instead of standing behind what you sell is beyond unprofessional -- it's dishonest. If a dealership refuses to acknowledge legitimate mechanical defects and tries to discredit official documentation, that tells you everything you need to know about how they operate. John's post purchase arrogance is beyond reasonable. He couldn't even honor his word even after acknowledging via text that the issues were valid. And I quote, "Hey let me get this figures" "Sorry it will be ready by 1:30 tomorrow" "the shocks cannot be fixed for month... ..." Save yourself the stress, the repair bills, and the headache. And you would think for a dealership with a service dept on site they would diagnose and correct all of the problems before they sell the vehicles, but they don't. They either patch them up and hope you don't notice for two months or I have the worst luck in the world. The vehicle I bought myself ended up being in the shop for at least a month after I discovered it's issue. Thank God I found it a week before my warranty was up or I would have been on the hook for the $5,000 it cost to fix the problem. But it didn't come without a fight. It took the dealership two attempts to fix the vehicle. The first time they fixed the wrong thing, and when I told them I was still having the same issue they told me they weren't going to fix it. We eventually got on the same page and they took my vehicle for another two weeks and finally repaired it. For that I'm grateful. But now the vehicle I bought my grandmother had the check engine light come on. Mechanic comes out to give it a tune up and finds the spark plugs are covered in oil. Boom! It needs a new valve seals. My mechanic says "it looks like it's been this way for quite some time". I bought the car less than a year ago. Unfortunately the warranty has expired on this vehicle. So I'm on the hook for this one. I'm not saying don't buy a vehicle from this dealership. But I am telling you to take your car to a mechanic as soon as you drive it off of the lot to find any issues before your warranty expires. Because from my experience it doesn't seem to me like their service department has their customers best interests at heart.
