Mid-July, I bought a '25 F350 Diesel exactly the way I wanted. My sales guy Ben was great and knowledgeable about his product. I drove it home and then hopped on a flight with my family to Mexico the next morning. When I returned home, I found oil in my garage and then in my driveway. I climbed under the truck and was in disbelief that it was leaking oil. I told the dealership it was an oil pan leak. They stated, " There's no way. The truck had less than 100 miles on it." They picked it up and confirmed I was correct. It's a 24-hour job to repair it, as the motor has to come out. The pan was cracked when it came off the assembly line. 29 days later, they called me to pick up my truck. The job was extensive, so I knew there was a huge risk for human error. Ford had an oversight on their assembly line which created a chain reaction of events and issues with the vehicle. I told the dealership that if I wanted a used truck, I would have bought a used truck. I bought a truck that was brand new. This truck has been taken apart severely. I was dissatisfied and disappointed with my purchase. But at the end, the store General Manager John made it right. He is a stand-up guy and helped fight with Ford (manufacturer) which I appreciated. Despite the chaos this ordeal created the leadership at the store stood up to do their best to make it right for me. They put me as their customer 1st. This weekend, they delivered me a '26 F350 Platinum and reached out to my existing lender to finance the new vehicle and to match the terms. When you stop in to buy a vehicle be on the lookout for Sales Manager Tyler and Andrew. I recommend you track down Ben as he's a laid back easy going down to earth sales person. Stand up guys! Solid solid people. Things happen in life, nothing is ever perfect but to see a business put their customers first and make it right is unheard of anymore. They've earned my trust and respect to come back and buy another vehicle. When things go flawlessly it's easy to share that experience but what matters is when you have things not go well. My friend that was looking for a car called Shyaan Bushehri and made an appointment for 3:30 specifically for the car he said was available . I drove to take her to buy this vehicle.it was a 3 1/2 hour drive for me. I Showed up on time for an appointment and Shyaan Bushehri sold it. I couldn't believe it. He lied said he called me. I had tried to call him on my way and my call was ignored. I then asked for the manager he did nothing to remedy the situation did not care .I then asked for a corporate number and was given a card I'm sure he knew the number was disconnected! Literally the worst Service Department I have ever experienced in terms of automobile repair. I arrived with an appointment at the service bay. I pulled up to the bay door, which was open, I could see about six service advisors were at their respective desks, not one even looked up. There were no other cars in the bay. Finally, one of them noticed and waved me in. I drove in and parked. Not one single advisor ever looked at me or made contact at my window. So, I exited my vehicle and stood there. Not one advisor would even look my way even though none of them had customers or were on the phone at the time. The young lady sitting closest to me finally mumbled something that sounded like "someone will help you shortly" after I had stood there for a couple of minutes. Finally, one (Oscar) said he would help me. I was told that it would be at least 48-72 hours before they could even diagnose my vehicle. Then after waiting for a few days, they contacted me and said the transmission needed to be replaced, but that they couldn't tell me what was actually wrong with it only that they were receiving failure codes. Then after being told that, I was told that they couldn't fix or refurbish it, I would have to pay them over 10k for a new one and wait two to three weeks for it to be shipped from Michigan. Mind you this would be the 3RD NEW TRANSMISSION!! in a 2020 Ford Explorer with only 52k miles on it, with the first one failing at 14k miles. At this point they should be giving those transmissions away considering they are obviously crap components. I called the FORD Motor Company corporate customer service and complained, and they were a lot nicer. They said they could ship the part at a reduced cost, but the dealership would have to send them a repair document detailing what actual repairs were needed. After waiting for 3 days, Ford called me back stating that they couldn't get in touch with Oscar and that they were still waiting for the invoice and repairs to be sent to them. I had to call the dealership myself and hold until Oscar got on the phone, only to be told "I'm trying to work with you to get your truck fixed" when I asked what the delay was. Even though he wouldn't return calls to his own company representatives or send in the repair sheet so that they could provide the new transmission. Needless to say, the next day being almost 2 weeks later, I took an Uber to the dealership and picked up my truck drove it to a local transmission shop. No customer skills whatsoever and they act like they are doing you a favor just by talking to you. But they have no problem sending you an expensive invoice for repairs that they can't even explain. read more

Updated review: I had to fight with Schomp to get my money back. I needed some work done on my car and Schomp Ford had me pay for the parts upfront before they were ordered. After calls and texts spanning 5 months I finally gave up ever getting parts so I called to try to get my $600+ back. I spoke with multiple departments (service, finance) who said they either couldn't do anything about it or promised that they would call me back (and didn't). After trying to get my money back for a month, I found the general managers email online and sent him a note. Miraculously someone called me an hour later. While on the phone, the guy I talked to said my parts were in and that they had tried to contact me (not true). He then tried to tell me it was going to be a 20% restocking fee. I don't think I've ever had my blood pressure skyrocket like that. He changed his mind after I firmly reminded him that it now been over 6 months. Outstandingly bad service. Staff was rude, service was slow and I had to fight with them to get money back for parts that were never received. Negative 5,000 stars. read more

I would not suggest going here for a simple service, they held onto my truck for 3 MONTHS! I just wanted my transmission fixed, they said it would take the parts 2-3 weeks to get there and 2 weeks for service my truck. It sounded like a stretch but I still waited, I called and they said to keep waiting. I visited them at least 4-5 times and every time my truck was in the SAME SPOT. So finally when i decided to take back my truck after they did NOTHING to it, they wanted to still charge me 500$ for the diagnostics, again don't go here they just lie straight to your face left and right, I even saw a worker tell a costumer it will be 3-4 weeks to work on their car for a simple fix with a mirror, while smiling and laughing secretly. read more

What seemed like a nice experience at the start, rapidly declined. A known issue right before signing the final paperwork, was agreed upon to have the service department take a look after I extended all possibilities of fixing the ford pass app option that is not working. They couldn't get my vehicle in until after the 48hr return period, when they did they said a replacement part was needed when originally it was only supposed to be a motem reset. The price not only seemed outrageous but they are trying to force me to cover it fully when it was a known issue beforehand. I called another Ford dealership in northern CO and found out that the price of the part is more than 50% cheaper than what Schomp Ford in Aurora, CO quoted me and even said I shouldn't be getting charged anything, so I will be happily taking my business there. Bryan was the sales rep and haven't had really an issues with him until recently. Bryan's direct manager Clay, completely rude, condescending and had absolutely no care about the situation. Seemed like he couldn't get me out of the office fast enough and it was best that we did not continue to talk to each other so I left. Tyler, the GM, I haven't had issues with him directly but he is also holding firm on this situation and all are unwilling to try to make this right or even just meet me halfway on this issue. After my truck got out of the shop from the original inspection of the motem, inspection only, my engine light came on and I have heard no response to it. I have given them multiple chances to try and make it right somehow even if it couldn't be the full coverage of the issue but they have not attempted to offer even a small recourse. At this point it just seems they are ignoring me as much as possible especially to get me outside of the 30 limited warranty window. This dealership has been incredibly unpleasant to do any work with and I 100% regret even considering doing business with them. I recommend staying as far away from this place as possible. I do not trust anything they tell me at this point and I definitely don't trust my truck back in their shop with my engine light on now with no clue how or why. Service department lied and is incompetent. I took my vehicle in for warranty work and they said the air filter needs to be replaced. it absolutely did not and the check engine light was on ever since I picked it up. After calling I was told they didn't even go in the engine compartment and no way they caused it. They recommended services I did not do and tried to shift the blame to me. All my radio station presets were gone so the battery had been disconnected at minimum, I knew for a fact he blatantly lied to me. It turned out when you lied about my air filter you also failed to reconnect the MAF sensor. The incompetent mechanics caused it after all. read more

After 2 weeks for a diagnostic, and another 2 weeks back and forth with my extended warranty, they were not able to help me or work with the warranty. They only want to take your money. After a month, I had to take my car to another shop that was able to work with the warranty and help me, but not after paying them $275 for the diagnostic. Oscar is awful, no customer service, no personality, antagonistic and borderline disrespectful. What a waste of time and money! read more

I had an appointment for thursday at 9:15am, my car was not even looked at until Friday around 1. I got no updates from the tech or anyone looking at the car, I only received a text link to choose my options on what i would like done with the car. No explanations about what was going on, not even a phone call to review my options. I had no idea what was wrong with the car and no one called to communicate the issue. I had to call and ask. A text link is not an update. I picked up my car on Saturday, when I got in the car I noticed that the mechanic or tech or whoever got greasy/oily finger prints all over the upholstery on the side of my door. Never probably going to get that out. Overall, communication and the condition of my car when I picked it up is enough for me to not recommend this place or ever come back. read more

There was a mechanical problem with the car that showed up just after we got it home - a factory oversight, not a Schomp Ford quality issue. Chris ( GM) , Tyler ( Sales Manager ) , and Alec ( Service writer) helped me get the car towed in on Father's Day and repaired the following Juneteenth holiday , and towed back to me Tuesday. Well' set up an appointment at 8am for an oil change 2 weeks in advance. When it was time, I showed up and was asked if I was going to wait or drop off, I said drop off, then they said it will be ready at 5pm. I asked them that it was ridiculous since I had already made an appointment. I asked, what if I waited, they said 1pm. After the appointment was confirmed, I received a text asking me if I wanted their Valet Service (the dealer picks up my vehicle, service it then bring it back to me) of course I said YES. Never received a time the vehicle would be picked up. I called the Service Department about 50 minutes prior and again I couldn't get an answer. I did not asked for the Valet Service but was contacted with the offer. After a 2nd call with no answer, I cancelled my service appointment. I was very direct with the person I had spoken to about someone contacting me. It is now Thursday and still nothing. No wonder Schomp Ford Service Department has such a low rating. read more

I had a 2021 Bronco Sport with 93K miles mostly highway that had the transmission go out. Though I think a transmission should last much longer, the service I received to get it fixed was horrible. I brought it in on February 16th, 2024. It did not get looked at until after I made a call on February 20th. Parts were ordered. The wrong parts were received. One of the techs had a family emergency, which I understand can happen, and was told Bronco would not be ready until March 22nd. I called on March 21st to confirm pickup on March 22nd and could not get anyone to return my call. I called March 22nd and asked to speak to the Director of services. He did not return my call. So I called back to speak with my agent and he was busy. Finally got a call back and was told the Bronco would be ready on Tuesday March 26th. I then received a text that they were running late and it should be done the next day on March 27th. I then got a call from the director that it would not be ready until March 28th. After we spoke, I asked him to give me a discount since I was without the car for a long time. The estimate was $7800. They gave me a $1000 discount. The total bill was $8551.22 I am not sure, maybe I am different, but I guess most people can go without a vehicle for 5 plus weeks. read more

I would give zero if I could. Buying process was definitely longer than 2 hours and I ordered my truck. But I liked my sales staff and was excited about the truck. Fast forward 2.5 years. Trying to get ahold of anyone is impossible. It's taken 2 months to get a refund. Which I still haven't received. I called to get a fax, because it's not listed on the website, and the front desk doesn't know the fax number... Now I'm sure It will take a few more weeks for the refund. I would definitely look at all the reviews and check out BBB on this company before buying a car here. My brother just bought a used car that was "all checked out" and "no issues" only to find out that it needs a new transmission just a month after purchase. In researching all the reviews and looking at the complaints on Better Business Bureau, looks like they have done this several times and refer to their "as is" clause when you purchase a vehicle. My friend said she even bought a brand new car from them and then needed a new transmission just after one year of purchase! Purchased a pre-owned car form my soon to be 16 year old daughter. We were told the vehicle underwent an extensive "multi-point" systems inspection prior to listing it on the lot. For a new driver, naturally safety is our first consideration and we were provided assurance the vehicle had been thoroughly checked and any deficiencies were repaired or replaced. During the test drive, we noted the AC did not work. Our salesman Scott, assured us he would have it looked at and definitively fixed before we received the vehicle. He ensured us there were "plenty of room" in the budget to replace the entire system if needed. My daughter had put on less than 800miles and reported a squeaking the breaks. Believing the vehicle was sound, I made an appointment with the local mechanic, the same trusted establishment we have had my husband's car served at for 10+ years. To our shock, after inspecting the breaks, we were informed the front pads were only at 5mm and the rear pads were just over 6. The rotors were warn and we needed full front and rear break jobs. $774.93 later, my daughters vehicle, which underwent Schomps multi-point, pre-owned vehicle inspection was safe. My husband drove it home and asked how long the AC had been out and making noise. We took her vehicle into a dealership and were told the car did not have a new AC system as were were promised by Scott, but was likely, just charged (in essence, a bandaid) to make his sale, pocket the "plenty of room" funds and buy him just enough time to hope the vehicle would not show signs of failure within the 30 day, 1000miles, whichever comes first useless warrenty . Now faced with yet ANOTHER costly repair for an air compressor, I have reached out to Schomp Ford to discuss the situation. I was informed by Devin in the sales department that Travis, the General manager would contact me on 2 separate occasions but have not received a call, an email or text acknowledging my request to speak with him. As a family, we have purchased 9 other vehicles from the Schomp family of dealerships and have NEVER had such a poor experience. Schomp Ford has tarnished the reputation of a once, quality brand. I took my 2021 Ford Escape in for warranty work for the 4th time ( 5 times including the time I took it to Freeway Ford and it sat there for three days with absolutely nothing being repaired) for the same two items; driver side airbag sensor not working and Satellite radio intermittingly not working. When I arrived for my scheduled service this morning, I was informed that the technician working on my car was off for the week. It seems that common courtesy, the service center would have notified me to reschedule; they didn't. It would be a profound understatement to say I am thoroughly frustrated. Meanwhile we have this tool called the internet where you can contact other companies that also buy cars from customers. Now don't get me wrong I expect to loose some money on the trade but when Vroom makes and offer of $47,000 for the same truck, this stealership-dealership is a company I will never do business with in the future. I guess they just expect people to be uneducated so they can take advantage of you and your hard earned money. Took it back and got a new oil cap and supposedly got "cleaned" but for some reason my brand new truck with 3,000 miles is still completely soak in oil. Leaking!! I brought my company car in for an oil change and to reinstall the skid plates that Jiffy lube lost the bolts on. First of all this took 3.5 hours. When I get the car back I drove 1/2 mile down the road only to hear the metal skid plate dragging in the ground. Turn back around to have them fix it and the mechanic a very young and inexperienced kid tells me he zip tied it!!!! I paid for new bolts and he uses the weakest zip tie made to compensate for not having the bolts. This is the easiest job any mechanic can do and it got messed up!! The bad reviews are legit. These guys a horrible. That being said the service writer was great but I will never bring my car back. read more
