Our family has bought several new Subaru's through Schomp Subaru over the years, and we've had a wonderful experience each and every time! I'll direct this review towards our most recent experince, I bought a new 2026 Subaru WRX after trading my 2022 WRX. This was the second time working with Cole Farmer, and he's an absolute pleasure to deal with during any car buying experience! Our first experince with Cole was on Valentines day, as we were late arriving customers and he stayed well past closing time on a holiday weekend to ensure we were able to leave happily in our new vehicle that night. So of course 2 months later when I was in the market for a new WRX I went right back to Cole! He's got a wonderful upbeat personality, makes everyone feel welcomed, and makes every process so smooth. I was intially unhappy with the trade value on my previous WRX but Cole fought to get me right where I wanted to be. He worked with the maintence department to ensure I would get a few parts swapped over, and just all around a great experince. Ela was our Love Encore Specialist and helped ensure a smooth transition getting us ready to roll in our new vehicles, and as always had a bright smile and a wondeful patient personalilty to ensure all questions were answered. Well it's 1:58am and I just lost another game of online solitaire. It's the type of game that allows the mind to wander just enough, and between jacks and aces I found myself thinking about Schomp Subaru. I've been meaning to write this review. I usually just bring my Subaru here for oil changes and regular maintenance, but a few months ago I turned my car on and the dash lit up like a Christmas tree. No eyesight, tire flat, check the engine, god only knows what else. The seatbelt ding was glitching out like DING, DI--,, D, DIN--DINGGG, D-. I was like omg is this thing gonna blow up or what. I shut it off & left it right where it was for 3 weeks. Everyone knows you can ignore certain problems and they'll go away. Well I found myself wondering why I ever wished to grow up when I pushed that start button pretending I expected nothing to be wrong and immediately got serenaded with the flashing lights & hyperpop seatbelt dinging. I don't like making appts or running auto care errands but it had to be done. The thing is though that Schomp doesn't mess around. 1) you don't have to call anyone. You can book online & show up and it works. I rolled up in my flashy error ride & they're all professional with iPads and smiles. They even gave me a brand new Subaru to drive over the weekend! Ok now it gets really good. When it's time to see what's wrong with your car they don't call & harass you. They just send you a video and form via text and you just mark whatever you want them to do. Its awesome. I marked some but not all items and they never harassed me once about not choosing everything. Usually the car place always harasses and i'm always nervous because I don't know what either of us is talking about so this was a relief. I know I know i'm not doing any favors for the clueless car girl stereotype but this is just who I am. Anyway long story short I marked the check boxes but I wasn't sure if the price would change or if there'd be a surprise fee? I enjoyed my last few moments in that buttery 2026 model & entered the premises with extreme anticipation. Ya it was the same price they quoted me in that form, to the penny. If anyone's curious, the problem was my gas cap was leaking and my battery was like terminally ill. It's ironic bc the only reason I got that cheapo gas cap was because the state of CO failed the original one on emissions. I was so surprised and pissed like what? This car has a leaf PVEZ thing on the back & it failed emissions? Whatever, I whipped over to the closest auto zone and the guy gave me this random gas cap, and then I went straight back to emissions & they said it passed. Well something isn't right there considering what occurred now with the dings and lights. Moving on. Schomp did some other stuff I honestly can't remember, but every time I get my car fixed I get intrusive thoughts for the next few weeks like what if I get on the freeway & my wheels fall off because they forgot to put the screws in. I guess it would be a typical Monday on i25 as far as vibes go but for me it would be traumatic & possibly cause life changing severe and enduring injuries. I was still hoping I wouldn't accidentally manifest such an incident when life threw me a major curveball, and I found myself driving this car alone for 900 mi back to my home town in ND. At first I was like oh god i'm gonna be the headline this time, it's all coming to this isn't it, and then before I knew it I only had 200 mi to go and I was pushing 90mph for 3 hrs straight. If the cops are reading this it's just a hyperbole. And yeah then I drove it all over the frigid block of ice that was ND in Feb for weeks, and then had to drive it 900 mi back. It was all fine. So thank you Schomp, your service gave me wheels and freedom and the only small space that was truly my own during a time I needed it most. On that note, i'm going to share an original poem about Subaru. I wrote this at morrie's minnetonka Subaru in 2020 in Minneapolis while I got my oil changed. I left it on their yelp but they went out of business. So i'm leaving it here so it may stay alive, because i think of it every time an obstacle is detected. Here it is: . . . I had a very disappointing experience at this dealership. I drove out of my way and wasted over 20 minutes after being quoted completely different numbers over the phone and by text. A girl told me my car with 114k miles could be valued around $7,700. Even a computer estimate came back at $5,520, but when I arrived in person, they offered only $4,500 -- despite my car being in great condition, only needing new tires. To make it worse, the salesperson said he doesn't use computers or real market data, but just goes off his own "opinion." That's misleading and unprofessional. I took my car in for oil change. Shop said I needed an alignment amongst a few other smaller items. I decided to postpone it. The "quoted cost was $149. I decided to shop it and found that Discount tires does alignment for $89. Meanwhile, I had received an email from Schomp offering me $40 off for the alignment. They are still $20 higher than Discount. So I took it to Discount where they told me I did not need an alignment and sent me on my way. Obviously I won't be going back to Schomp for any service. They are dishonest. So now I'm looking for an independent Subaru specialist shop. read more

Recently we took our 2020 Subaru Legacy sedan into Schomp Subaru to repair the driver's seat switch. We were told that the switch was not readily available and would take a few days to get. While the car was there, we were informed that there were other items that needed attention as well including replacing the cabin air filter, the engine filter, rear brake pads, machining the rotors, and alignment. Our car was at the dealership over the weekend and into the following week. For roughly $1500 we thought our car was 'renewed' for the foreseeable future. When we got the car home, we discovered that there was fluid leaking out onto the garage floor. Further, we discovered that the car was past due for an oil change. For expedience, we chose to get the oil changed at a renowned shop nearby. In the process, they informed us that the following items needed attention: 1, Valve cover leaking oil 2. Cracked lower control arm bushing 3. cupped tires and excessive wear from worn out struts We have pictures from this establishment to verify these claims. We are wondering why Schomp did not discover any of these items while they had the car for 3 plus days. We are not inclined to return to Schomp for any more service since they were not forthcoming on items that we understand are standard for the age and mileage of our car. We do not recommend that anyone seek service from this dealership. read more

I usually use a different Subaru service provider closer to my home but have been in Denver for cancer treatment. Needed to get vehicle inspected and serviced so picked the closest dealership to Anschutz (where my treatment is). There were some initial miscommunications by both sides and, some service work was duplicated from what we just had done a few months ago. I 'approved it' via the app because the issues were deemed critical - but did not know that the flagged issues weren't based on the pre-service inspection but were mileage based (and assumed not to have been done). They could have stuck me with the full amount since I did approve - but with a willingness to discuss and compromise, they were kind enough to completely waive charges for duplicate services even though they absolutely did not have to. Needless to say, given medical expenses going on at present, it was a tremendous relief that they were so flexible and understanding! Would return to Schomp for sure if we ever needed Subaru service in Denver area again. read more

This was my first Schomp purchase and probably the last. The men here were very disrespectful and do not understand that when a woman says "no" she means "no." I already had a lot of knowledge about the vehicle and so did not require a lot of time deciding. The "one hour" promise was dishonest, as it my purchase took closer to six hours. Much of that was because, even though I made it very clear that I was not purchasing any add-ons or packages, the salesperson kept repeating the hard sell, and bringing back items had declined several times, and insisting on discussing them at length. Then the pushy sales manager, Yoseph Albouri, replaced the salesperson to rudely push the maintenance package, which I had already declined five times.
