Schomp Subaru - Car Dealers Near Me - Aurora, Colorado

I took my car in for oil change. Shop said I needed an alignment amongst a few other smaller items. I decided to postpone it. The "quoted cost was $149. I decided to shop it and found that Discount tires does alignment for $89. Meanwhile, I had received an email from Schomp offering me $40 off for the alignment. They are still $20 higher than Discount. So I took it to Discount where they told me I did not need an alignment and sent me on my way. Obviously I won't be going back to Schomp for any service. They are dishonest. So now I'm looking for an independent Subaru specialist shop. read more

Recently we took our 2020 Subaru Legacy sedan into Schomp Subaru to repair the driver's seat switch. We were told that the switch was not readily available and would take a few days to get. While the car was there, we were informed that there were other items that needed attention as well including replacing the cabin air filter, the engine filter, rear brake pads, machining the rotors, and alignment. Our car was at the dealership over the weekend and into the following week. For roughly $1500 we thought our car was 'renewed' for the foreseeable future. When we got the car home, we discovered that there was fluid leaking out onto the garage floor. Further, we discovered that the car was past due for an oil change. For expedience, we chose to get the oil changed at a renowned shop nearby. In the process, they informed us that the following items needed attention: 1, Valve cover leaking oil 2. Cracked lower control arm bushing 3. cupped tires and excessive wear from worn out struts We have pictures from this establishment to verify these claims. We are wondering why Schomp did not discover any of these items while they had the car for 3 plus days. We are not inclined to return to Schomp for any more service since they were not forthcoming on items that we understand are standard for the age and mileage of our car. We do not recommend that anyone seek service from this dealership. read more

Absolute WORST service department! Between my mother and I we've purchased 4 new Subarus in the span of 10 years. I will NEVER work with this dealership again! The incompetence is on a level I've never seen before, I question if my car is even safe to drive after getting it serviced. read more

Noelle did an amazing job working with me and addressed all my questions and concerns. I will return again.

So my daughter brought my car in on Friday a 2019 Crosstrek she picked it up after having the oil changed and 10 minutes into her ride home the car overheated. It had never overheated before, she called left a message. Didn't hear back from anybody. She was able to get the car home and when we called the shop on Monday morning, they were very kind bring it in. We gave her a rental car. Everything is good. Now they call us today and tell us that there is $7500 in engine damage and that we're responsible for it all. That's disgusting. I would never purchase from this company again. There are three stars says it all. Beware of their friendliness upfront, cause they'll just screw you on the back end read more

Denzel R. Helped me with my purchase of a Nissan Altima. he was an open ear, super patient & helpful...

This was my first Schomp purchase and probably the last. The men here were very disrespectful and do not understand that when a woman says "no" she means "no." I already had a lot of knowledge about the vehicle and so did not require a lot of time deciding. The "one hour" promise was dishonest, as it my purchase took closer to six hours. Much of that was because, even though I made it very clear that I was not purchasing any add-ons or packages, the salesperson kept repeating the hard sell, and bringing back items had declined several times, and insisting on discussing them at length. Then the pushy sales manager, Yoseph Albouri, replaced the salesperson to rudely push the maintenance package, which I had already declined five times. My mother had a much better experience at the dealership where she purchased here Subaru and did not experience any of this. read more

I usually use a different Subaru service provider closer to my home but have been in Denver for cancer treatment. Needed to get vehicle inspected and serviced so picked the closest dealership to Anschutz (where my treatment is). There were some initial miscommunications by both sides and, some service work was duplicated from what we just had done a few months ago. I 'approved it' via the app because the issues were deemed critical - but did not know that the flagged issues weren't based on the pre-service inspection but were mileage based (and assumed not to have been done). They could have stuck me with the full amount since I did approve - but with a willingness to discuss and compromise, they were kind enough to completely waive charges for duplicate services even though they absolutely did not have to. Needless to say, given medical expenses going on at present, it was a tremendous relief that they were so flexible and understanding! Would return to Schomp for sure if we ever needed Subaru service in Denver area again. read more

I see poor ratings with Schomp's service department so let me preface this review by noting that my experience here is strictly on the new car purchase experience. I waited a month after purchase to assess my pre- and post-purchase experience so this is a fairly long review: BACKGROUND: A month ago I drove from Texas to Aurora, Colorado to purchase a Subaru Outback for my dad, the first Subaru for our family. Why did I buy a car so far away? My dad wanted a specific car and we were unhappy with local Subaru dealership experience and selection. To find dad's future car, I used the Subaru website, Edmunds.com, and the dealers' websites. I called each dealership to discuss availability, price, process, and transfer options. Some dealers were willing to price match but others didn't. Comparative information were entered on a spreadsheet to help us make an objective decision, all things considered. PRE-PURCHASE: Schomp Subaru emerged as one of the top contenders for their price and customer service. Their sales staff provided us with information and options rather than pushing a sale. The sales person, Irena Milasinovic, was very enthusiastic, knowledgeable, talkative, and personal. She gave us several choices with vehicles on their lot and discussed the most advantageous option in financing the purchase. The emailed price quotes lacked the typical dealership-associated fees and unnecessary add-ons, which to us were very surprising. In fact, at one point we were skeptical of how unreal this experience was, especially after we had put down the $500 deposit and bought one-way flight to Denver. Irena called to put our mind at ease by assuring what we saw is what we'll get. PURCHASE PROCESS: Schomp dealership was not far from Denver International Airport. Irena offered us a ride but we didn't want to bother her since our flight landed long before the dealership opens. The Uber ride must have lasted less than 30 minutes and cost $35. Upon arrival, Irena met us in the show room and steered us towards "our" awaiting Outback. She also gave our dog a bunch of gifts and treats, which sealed the deal for our little fur boy. After going over the features of the vehicles, Irena sent us on our test drive while she begun the paperwork. There were lots of papers to be signed but we sat in the same place and worked with the same person. Irena explained everything very well and was clearly knowledgeable about Subarus and car history in general. Before we drove out, we received a brief overview by a new vehicle delivery specialist to help new owners understand the Outback's features. Being a car nut myself and having previously research the vehicle extensively, we curtailed the education session and drove out with Irena waving goodbye. So is Schomp Subaru legit with its "One Price, One Person, One hour" promise? For the most part, yes. Our out-of-state transaction took much longer than an hour to complete. However, the sales person was honest and there were no surprises throughout the entire purchase process. The only surprise we felt was how pleasant this entire experience was and hoped that a dealership like Schomp would be closer to home. AFTER PURCHASE: I received follow up calls and text messages from the dealership to see if we had any question or needed help. When I complained about my dad's difficulty in using the infotainment system, Irena took videos and sent us instruction for creating and putting shortcuts onto the main screen. This one-touch navigation access was a game changer for my dad. I was also pleased that Irena remained just as enthusiastic, helpful, and personable as she was before the purchase process. SUMMARY: Would I buy from them again? Yes. Although Schomp is a good two days drive from my house, we had a very pleasant experience buying a car from them. The dealership's no-nonsense policy is unique in the dealership world and their salesperson, Irena, was a star in making us comfortable throughout the long-distance purchase process. read more

I had the absolute best experience purchasing my vehicle from Schomp Subaru, and it's all thanks to Curtis! From the moment I walked in, he provided incredible customer service. He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable the entire time -- constantly offering drinks and snacks and checking in to see if I needed anything else. What really stood out to me was his patience and professionalism. I had my 1-year-old with me, and let's just say she was full of energy -- even throwing toys at him at one point! But Curtis handled it all with a smile and so much kindness. He made what could have been a stressful experience smooth and enjoyable for me and my family. If you're planning on getting a Subaru, ask for Curtis. You won't regret it! If I could give him more than 5 stars I absolutely would! He's a top 100 out of 10! read more

Jonathan was incredibly knowledgeable, patient and helpful. Thank you for respecting the limited amount of time I had due to my husband being in the hospital on the ICU floor. Your diligence and accuracy is appreciated. Providing answers to all my questions regarding coverage on different areas of the car and explaining the mileage and month owned service to the coverage on the windshield was so helpful. Also the compassion you showed towards our family during this challenging time was appreciated. Lastly going back and getting our garage door opener out of our trade in was exceptional, we did not have time to leave, realize we had forgotten it and drive back. Thank you! read more

Great experience from start to finish! I would highly recommend Schomp Subaru. Transparent pricing, fantastic staff and customer service!

I arrived at the appointed time and was met by a friendly service advisor who explained that Subaru recommends a brake fluid drain and refill due to the fluid being hydrophobic and capable of absorbing atmospheric moisture. Denver being high desert and about as dry as anywhere habitable, it sounded odd but, as the factory recommended it, it was fine by me. Secondly, he said that the front and read differentials needed to be flushed and refilled. Again, if Subaru recommends it, who am I to argue. After all, I want this car to last a long time and following manufacturer's recommendations never shortened the life of a vehicle. The service advisor pulled the car up a few feet to make room for new customers coming in behind me and left the wheels slightly turned to check tread depth. We looked at the driver's side front tire where we both noted a plug, a plug that I had no knowledge of. These tires are the ones that came on the car when we bought it. Neither my wife or I had ever had a tire repair done on this car and nobody besides the two of us and whoever drove it at the dealership have ever driven this car. Where did this plug come from? Later in the day, I was advised that the other front tire also had a plug. Both front tires had been "repaired" with a plug and we have been driving the car for two years on several 3,000 mile road trips at high speeds. The only time this car had been out of our immediate control was when the dealership had it for two or three days to diagnose and repair a suspension noise. My best guess is that we either purchased the car with plugged tires or the tires were punctured and repaired when the car spent a couple of days at the dealership. That evening, we retrieved the car from the dealership, went home and looked up the Subaru Maintenance Schedule on the Subaru website. Nowhere does it mention a differential flush at 30,000 miles. All I know for sure at this point in time is that I was charged $250+ for a service that Subaru does not apparently require and am looking at $1,000+ for a new set of tires because somebody punctured two tires on this car and plugged them without notifying me. I have shared this review with Schomp a week before posting here and have not heard a peep from them. read more

I recently purchased a 2026 Subaru Forrester from Schomp, and I loved the experience. Alison Butters was a fantastic saleswoman who bent over backwards to find me what I wanted. I originally came in with an idea that I wanted a Subaru Crosstrek Sport- but didn't fall in love and was about to go back to the drawing board (I'd gone through about 50+ vehicles shopping by that point) before she recommended the Forrester. Which I had originally skipped because of a prior bad experience with a much older model. She never pushed, always was kind (and even helped my 70-year-old mother get around, and that woman is a bear sometimes. Sorry mom.), and helped me across multiple appointments because of my work schedule. She was exceptionally knowledgeable about each vehicle in detail- I haven't had someone know the different engines between each model off the top of their head in a long time. She was able to talk to me about financing, leasing, and the trade-in options. Enriquo was another absolute doll- we were checked on multiple times and offered snacks. I'm very pleased with the experience, even a few days later, and I will be recommending it to friends. read more

We bought our 2025 Forester Touring on 9/2/25 from Dani (and Alex), and the entire experience was our best ever in over four decades of new car ownership! The dealership's "one price" "no haggling" experience, zero dealer fees, a bonus $500 off, coupled with a competitive match to CarMax for our trade-in made for two happy consumers! We look forward to servicing our vehicle here, and enjoying many years of dependable driving. read more
