Service and food is great! They have many options as far as bagels. I love how fast they get them made. Fairly good price we got 2 bagels for $8!!!! I recommend this for a nice quick breakfast or snack. read more

This place's service is a joke. I ordered online ahead of time and when we went to the counter to ask about it, we were ignored by some staff and glared at by others. We tried to buy some drinks from the cooler and got zero acknowledgment from the staff. So we waited 30 minutes in the order line for an online order and when we finally got to the front, the staff told us our order was waiting on the counter the whole time as if we should know better and we were wasting her time! How about a fucking sign or something? Not that hard to put up. Better yet, how about you get some better staff? They clearly feel like the job is beneath them. Go do something else then. Bagel bitches. read more

The rudest place in town to get anything to eat... mold was on cream cheese- girl at counter laughed and said it was a berry. They dont even have berries on the menu. Fed up and loss of appetite i asked flr a refund and they refused to refund my money and said i could have anything on the menu. Every time i said something they said oh except that... i left with two hungry kids and lost my $24 i had spent. Screw this place... read more

Excellent bagels! I got the eye-opener bagel with cheese and sausage with jalapeño bagel bread. Which was absolutely amazing. There's really nothing much that you can say about this place because it's absolutely amazing. The service was good. The food was good. And the prices are pretty good too. The one thing that I do I try here was the coffee I will definitely get that next time. I got nothing bad to say about this place. We were in and out in 10 minutes. What I would recommend for this business is opening up a little bit. It would make a lot more money if we can sit down and eat or bagels. But this is a place where you get your bagels or sandwiches and then you eat it somewhere else. We were down to the park and the weather was absolutely beautiful and the bagels were absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this place If you're a big fan of bagels and breakfast food. Food, service, atmosphere was amazing highly recommend this I'll be back here again. read more

Bagels were alright, service was pretty off putting- like it was an annoyance just to take our order? Then my order was wrong- ordered a bagel w/ cream cheese and avocado and tomato, but i guess they didn't feel like putting any of that on it and still charged for it. Wasnt even busy, pass. read more

As soon as we walked through the door, everything seemed gloomy. Thats a bummer when you first walk into a place and don't expect it. The service was sad and almost depressing. The woman working the counter seemed like it was her first, three hundreth, and last day all at the same time. Ugh. Sad. Even the other customers were sad....maybe its the bagel culture! I remember coming here years ago and the place was the exact opposite. It's too bad that it has to change soo quickly. The bagels, on the other hand, were delicious. The locks and cream cheese was fantastic. I'm always down for a good bagel, and this is the go to place in Bend. (if you can handle such a sad space). read more

Service and food is awesome! 20 cent fee to use a credit or debit card is unacceptable. First off, which I have reported to Visa, you can't charge a fee for DEBIT card transactions. Second, credit card machines are the cost of business. Stop being cheap. Up your prices if you have to but don't charge a fee for swiping my card. Also, get a credit card machine that allows for tipping. These girls work so hard and a lot of people don't carry cash. You don't pay them well (I've seen your craigslist ads for employment), so at least let them have some tips. read more

When we were in Bend, there was a line out the door to get bagels here. I honestly didn't think they were great. They tasted like bagels, but not the really good "crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside" kind. I just found this place to be very, very average. In my mind, if you're going to eat a bagel, it should be good enough to be worth the insane amount of calories that bagels have. read more

Seriously sad. Service was not friendly, bagel was thinnest I've ever seen, and they must have forgotten the cream cheese for the pathetic amount they used. I ordered a "bagel, warmed with cream cheese." I got a paper thin bagel with a sample of cream cheese( on one side barely) and it was cold!!! All of two people in store so they weren't overwhelmed. Additionally, the Bagel was hard. And do you think the staff could look up and smile? Apparently not. Here's the final kicker.... .20 cent charge just for using a card. Did she tell me? Nope. Not a word. I found out when she handed me the rcpt. I'd give them negative stars if I could. Just pathetic. Not worth any money. 2 thumbs down! read more

These bagels are the only reason I would ever go back to Oregon. They were the best bagel sandwiches I've ever had, and we snagged a bag of a DOZEN day olds for less than $5. I am in love with this place. read more

Nice shop. Nice staff. Bagels are pretty good. The reason I didn't give 5 stars are as follows- no alternative butter options (for my kids bagels) and they do not have lemon pepper. My favorite bagel is with tomato and lemon pepper. For these reasons I will not be back. read more

I spent the winter in Bend and came here almost every weekend! Bagels and cream cheese flavors are delicious. It's quite popular and ordering online ahead of time can be worthwhile, especially on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Prices are very reasonable and service is good. read more

Toasted bagel sandwiches made extremely well. Very good quality ingredients and consistent bagelry

The bagels here are delicious. I got a mocha with my bagel was yum. The girls behind the counter were super sweet even though you could tell they were understaffed they still kept a positive attitude. read more

The recipies have returned to their normal goodness in the past few weeks. The bagels are nicely AND generously seeded. All the sandwiches are delicious and taste fresh. The everything bagels are back to being the best. Everyone wears a mask and respects distancing while in the store. Congratulatilns Big O Bagels! read more

Hard to beat a bagel sandwich for a quick, hearty, fast breakfast. The line often gets backed up, so call ahead if you're in a big rush. Bagels are pretty great, but not the best ever. Fresh ingredients are pretty good althought not always impressive. There's no where to sit, but you can stand and eat at the counter. Coffee is solid but not one of my favs. In spite of the underwhelming qualities, I love coming back for the quick easy convenience of it and it gets my day started. read more

I'm traveling with some of my family and we were just looking for a quick breakfast on the go. We headed to Big O bagels and we're happy we chose this spot. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place isn't huge but it gets the job done. It's clean and has a neat small town ambience to it. Each of us got the eye openers breakfast bagels. Two with bacon on plain bagels and a sausage one on a jalapeño cheese bagel. The bacon was crispy and the cheese wasn't overwhelming in comparison to the other components of the breakfast sandwich. The bagel was toasted and cut in half. Also the bagels aren't unnecessarily thick like Panera Bagels. A little greasy but that is what you get with cheese. Anyways, the small bagel place helped us get off to a good start to our morning. read more

Skeptical after some of the reviews, I still ordered a couple sandwiches over the phone. The Lox Box was plentiful for a mere $6.95. Though busy, they took my order over the phone. When I arrived, Punky Brewster was finishing up my order, friendly, and polite. The pokie cookie was a nice dessert. read more

I hate to downgrade this place on this updated review but sadly BOB is going south... even though they're finally getting some things together. For example, at their newest location on the corner of NE 27th and Butler Market Rd. they have brought in a credit card machine which makes paying so much simpler! Here's the bad news. They have started this Breakfast Combo deal which sounds perfect because, I don't know about you all, but when I get breakfast I'm getting coffee, too. The deal is, get any one of the their breakfast sandwiches and you get a 12 oz. mocha or latte for about 5 bucks... The problem is, at least if you get the latte, that 12 oz. is more like 6 or 8 when the cup gets to you. I'd wager a good hour's salary that a third of that cup comes in foam formation. They also forgot to add the syrup I requested... Bah.... I still recommend getting a bagel with seasoning on it like the Salt or the Everything because they do not season their eggs and the sausage patty is pretty bland. You what would be the kicker?! IF they made their own sausage patties from fresh sausage, not the processed frozen ones that they use instead. That would make a killer sandwich! I still come here because the product is handy and if you know what to order, like I mention above, it can be good. read more

Big Bland-O bagels more aptly named. The place is so uninspired in all ways possible. Sad selection of breakfast sandwiches, bagels look way unappetizing and when you do taste it. Blandsville. read more

Come here EVERYTIME we end up in Bend. It's definitely a staple in our long weekends. Bagels are delicious . And you can buy them to go as well. There's only a couple of seats in there but there's a little park nearby you can sit at. Coffee is pretty good too! read more

I was expecting much worse based on the reviews. I went here three times on my climbing trip to Bend and had absolutely no issues. Service was great, and the bagels were up to par. read more

Great bagels seriously 10/10. But the service is awful. The two girls working at the front gave the worst service i have ever had. They were extremely rude. I don't know how they got hired. From now on i will be driving all the way across town to get better service at their other location read more

Okay seriously, I dream about their everything bagel, toasted with lox cream cheese, with salmon and avocado added. It makes me wish I was from Bend so I could eat it all the time. The service might not be AMAZING (fine but not great) and the coffee is mehh, but my entire party had what they described as the best bagels ever. Seriously! They are good at what they specialize in. read more

I have been a customer here for about three years. I have tried breakfast sandwiches, the lox box, ham sandwiches and many of the bagels. I have always been greeted with a smile and never had to wait longer than a few minutes to get my order. The food is always super fresh and tastes great. The bagels are always done just right. You can't beat a bag of day olds on sale either. I have read the other reviews and don't understand the negativity. I have recommended this place to many people who had the same enjoyable experience we always have. If you are looking for a great bagel defiantly give them a try. read more

Big O Bagels.. Such a deceiving name, I would expect these to be bigger than normal bagels. They were honestly some of the smallest bagels I have ever seen. Safeway has bagels 2x this size and super good. Highly disappointed in the size and the taste is mediocre. I had an egg salad bagel, the egg salad had a great taste, I enjoyed it. Just don't think the price is worth the size of the bagel and extremely deceiving name. read more

Nice employees, awesome options to personalize your bagel. Just wish they were open longer!

i usually love big o bagels but i just left the west side one after waiting for 4 bagels for over 20 minutes . for more than 10 of those minutes the two girls working were just talking. there was one person ahead of us and two after us and everyone get their food way before we did. they completely got our order wrong and gave us all untoasted cold bagels. and to add to that there was food all over the floor, dried egg and bacon everywhere, almost the entire floor was covered in food, and they were just casually waking all over it. very disappointed! read more

When I walked into Big-O-Bagels, I have to say the creativity of the bagel shaped tables as well as the hot dogs wrapped in homemade bagels was quite unique and attractive. So, when I saw that a bagel with lox, cream cheese, capers, tomatoes and onions was $6.50 I assumed that the care that they put into their other attributes would result in a quality product. Unfortunately, the bagel came open faced with ONE small piece of lox on each side, ONE small cut of tomato on each side, and very few capers. To get into the quality of the bagel isn't worth my time. Maybe stick to their hot dog wrapped bagels and try another bagel place for quality bagels and something worth your money. read more

Pretty good bagel warm and fast friendly service. I only tried the double cheese and tomato bagel. I would go back

I am so beyond disappointed in this place i have gone to this place over 10 times and always order the same thing a bagel with cream cheese and lox and the employees have always charged me 2.50 but today I go and they want to charge me 4 dollars it's not that big of a deal but they don't accept cards unless if $5 or more and I only had change for the price they always charged me before. I'm very unhappy and very disgusted with the way the employee handled it she looked at me as if I was a scammer or stupid. Big o bagels you just lost a continuous customer. read more

I heard a lot of great things when I was asking around on where to get a good bagel in Bend. When I walked in it took a few minutes for someone to notice that I was there. Their bagel selection was awful! after getting my 3rd choice on bagel I asked if they could put egg and cheese in it. They didnt have the first 2 cheeses I wanted (that was on their menu). When I got my bagel It was flat the egg wasnt mixed the cheese was crusted (over cooked and dry) not melted. It was tasteless and NOT yummy! Not to mention their sign said they took visa and mastercard. They didnt take either, cash only. I had to go to 7-11 to get cash back. I will NOT go back! Id rather go to safeway read more

Sad looking joint, really nice service, bagel sandwich was just ok.

i have gone to big o bagels many times and today when i went in the employee with blonde hair and glasses was exceptionally rude. first of all, we had to wait for a long time to put our order in even though we were first in line and when we told her our order, she responded with a very insincere "wow". as she made our bagel we could clearly hear her talking to her co worker about us. in conclusion, i don't think this employee had the right to single us out and treat us disrespectfully. read more

The staff needs serious customer service training. The group of girls that work behind the counter in both locations (they trade off) seem more invested in their personal lives than the customers. I've given this place multiple chances but get the same result: crappy customer service. Two examples below. I complemented one of the workers on her shirt, mostly to get her attention because I was ready to order, and she just stared at me as though I was rude to interrupt the conversation she was having with a coworker. She didn't even say anything so I just assumed that meant she was ready for my order. And she didn't say anything to me until she rang me up. However the conversation with her coworker continued on. Something about getting a new cell phone? Another time I was with a friend who likes her bagel toasted with a little butter and then topped with cream cheese. The worker made a comment along the lines of 'you people and your butter, it's so gross,' and went on to prepare the bagel. When we got the bagel it was toasted, with cream cheese, then topped with giant slabs of cold butter that had been plopped on at the last minute. If you're lookin for a good bagel and friendly environment go to Rockin Daves on Greenwood Ave. Even if you're in a hurry and just can't wait another second for a bagel because your life depends on it, I wouldn't suggest Big O. The staff just won't care. read more

After reading the mediocre reviews, we were hesitant to come in, but so glad we did! Delicious fresh bagels and yummy coffee! Service was quick and friendly. I had the honey wheat bagel and created my own combo adding fresh cream cheese and tomato and cucumber. Bf had eye opener with sausage. Both bagels were tasty, crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Sam was the woman that helped us and she was super nice. We will definitely be back! read more

I like Big o Bagels. Quick breakfast and it's satisfying. Service could better. The overall establishment could also use some updating, such as a debit/credit processor. read more

Just had an absolutely amazing experience at this location this morning! I wasn't having the greatest day (partly due to hunger) but as soon as I walked through the door I was greeted by Jaime and Travis, who have completely turned the day around for me. I was greeted with smiles as soon as I walked in, and I haven't been here in a while so I wasn't sure what I wanted and they gave me a full rundown of all of their options and gave a few suggestions, all while having fun genuine conversation. It is very apparent that this place has its act together, and that shows with how happy these employees were to be here and to help me out (and it doesn't hurt that the bagel was BOMB!). I am out the door with a smile on my face and I will definitely be returning as a regular from now on. Thanks guys! read more
