Best scones l've ever had. Been coming here for years even when they were out in State Street street. Just tried a pecan sticky bun today. Probably the best one of those as well.

We were looking for somewhere to grab a good breakfast, and one of my friends was dying to grab biscuits and gravy. They Googled "best biscuits and gravy in Boise" and this place came up...and good thing it did! The prices were surprising for the amount of food they served. The friend ordered biscuits and gravy and their plate was MASSIVE! Each biscuit was probably the size of their head, entirely smothered with country gravy and filled with bacon. I didn't taste it (although there was plenty to share) because I ordered a feta and artichoke quiche (for $7!!!) with a side of breakfast potatoes. Again, the price was incredible for the amount of food they served. They also had amazing scones--I ordered a lemon blackberry scone and it was so yummy! I would 10/10 recommend this spot if you're looking for somewhere to grab a bite.

We stopped here on our way back home to Utah and man all I can say is I've been depressed knowing that I can't come back multiple times a week to this place. The take out was ready exactly when it was supposed to be. The workers were amazingly friendly and helpful. The restaurant was super cute and it made me sad we didn't have time to eat there inside. It was like Hipster meets Cracker Barrel and I am down for that pleasing esthetic. The food was incredible it was the best breakfast I've had out in forever. We ordered the Farmer's daughter with sausage, and the rodeo wrap with avocado and sour cream, and the loaded potatoes. Which was kind of a mistake on our part only because the food portions were HUGE!! The eggs and cheese and all the veggies with the Farmer's daughter were absolutely incredible it was so hot and tasted so good my husband really enjoyed it and I enjoyed a few bites. I got the rodeo wrap which I should not have added sour cream to and in general I don't really eat wraps very often but this was absolutely delicious. The meat was perfectly cooked and the eggs were to die for the cheese pulls in this wrap were the stuff of legends. The loaded potatoes were so good we ate them for lunch on the road and man I wish we could go back today. We also ate the leftovers from breakfast for dinner. My one true regret at this place is not getting any dessert. The dessert case was truly a thing of beauty. Husband and I are already planning a trip back just for this place .

Super cute place if a little spendy. The coffee was great. Not too sweet, not too not. Service was a little slow but not too bad for hand-made.

I don't know why I don't come here more often. Oh yea, it's not in the best part of town anymore. On another note, this place is seriously so yummy. You get a lot of food for a medium price. I got the Spanish breakfast with bacon and salsa, I think they forgot the sour cream, a huge warm scone, and a medium Mexican hot chocolate. All for under $27. The breakfast can feed two people. The scone two or three people. It's nice and clean inside. I didn't know, but if you want water it is to the left of the register. The baked section.. holy jeeze the variety they had. I would have liked all of it, but I wouldn't be able to eat it all before it went bad. I definitely will make it a point to come by more. Oh yea, parking. It's street parking. I got there at like 715/730 so plenty of parking. I don't know how it is when it is later in the day. Inside and outside seating available.

We were visiting the city and really enjoyed the vibes here. Cozy and busy. The moment when we walked in we could feel this is a community and local favorite. We waited in line for about 10 mins and read the big menu trying to decide what to get. I ordered the bacon and spinach quiche with fruits, and hubby ordered the Deluxe bagel sandwich. We waited at our table for another 20 mins before getting our food. The quiche was absolutely delicious and worth the wait. Fresh and hot out of oven - it's savory and rich. The fruits on side were refreshing. Hubby thought his meaty bagel sandwich was good but could be warmer - maybe the kitchen finished making the bagel sandwich first and waited for the quiche to cook in the oven. I think if you are ordering something along with a quiche, you should know that the quiche could take a longer time to cook and your other food orders could turn cold a bit because of that.

Great customer service, DELICIOUS eats and great value :). I absolutely loved my veggie bagel and latte. Oh let me tell you this place is popular. If you're looking to eat in, get there early or be prepared to kinda stand and spy on all the tables until you can tell someone is ready to throw the towel in haha. I highly recommend this spot. Don't walk, run!

Huge portion sizes, delicious bakery items, and great coffee. This place is not to be beat For a delicious breakfast. The staff is wonderful and friendly as well. Theonlyy challenge is that it's always busy and take can take a while to get food. It is however worth the wait.

This place is darling! The name didn't communicate what it was at all, in my opinion. It's a farmhouse-style full breakfast and bakery spot. Indoor/outdoor seating with lots of colorful decor and fresh wildflowers on farm tables. Large tables and tables for four, there's plenty of seating. The menu is large worth options for everyone. The portions are HUGE! Enough for 2 people, at least. I had a breakfast sandwich the first day, just your standard bagel, egg, bacon, cheese number and let me tell you, I don't recommend eating it in the car! The second day I had the veggie breakfast burrito which tasted super healthy with broccoli, squash, red onions and bell peppers, eggs and potatoes in an enormous wheat tortilla. I ate it for two days and it was just as flavorful the second day. They have pastries, cookies, and baked goods galore! And they're all as big as your head. Highly recommend coming down and trying this place!

Decided to stop by after seeing the crowd enjoying their meals outdoors. Little did I know how big the space was and how packed it could be! How it works is that you walk in, go to the counter to order, and find available seating. They have large family style tables and some small bar seats on the side slightly hidden. As you wait for your food be sure to check out their decor indoors as it's not your average and have cute trinkets around the whole place. Ended up getting the tamale & cowboy breakfast. Both items were decently priced but the portions were HUGE! You will likely need to share an entree or you will for sure have some to take home. For the cowboy too they only have one type of toast so don't expect your sourdough here but be sure to enjoy it with the side of jam they provide. The tamale was unique and loved the avocado they pair on top as well. All in all, the menu items were pretty extensive but were pretty standard. Solid place if you want a classic american breakfast but also want the options for bagels, etc. be sure to look at their window case as well since they have MASSIVE desserts as well for under $5. We ended up getting a blueberry scone to go and would highly recommend! Love scones and this was no exception.

This spot is one of those types of eateries where you order, get a number, and then find yourself a table. It can get really busy, especially during brunch hours so it can be a gamble on getting a seat or not. They do offer takeout if you think seating is going to be too much of a problem. I came here for lunch but I was craving breakfast foods and I got the Wrap which is like their breakfast burrito with steamed eggs, potatoes, cheese and your choice of their ham, bacon, or sausage. I order it with sausage but there just wasn't enough flavor there. I think they charge more of extra salsa and that wrap really needed it. We also got the breakfast tamales which were better than the Wrap flavor wise but still could have used more of a kick in my opinion. Everything you order here is A LOT of food. These are the American sized portions that other countries joke about.

We did have to have a small wait. I love the fact that they were busy! Nothing makes me happier than seeing a local business thrive! It was a little over 10 minutes of wait time. No problem, we chilled in the car till we got our text to come in. We were sat, got coffee and juice ordered and checked out the menu. We were both hungry so everything looked good. My husband decided on a stack of pancakes with chocolate chips and a side of biscuits and gravy. I got the Big boy omelet with Moe Joe's potatoes. Our server, I believe her name is Kendra, was super sweet! I have served her before when she came in and ate my at family's restaurant. She was fabulous as a guest and fabulous at taking care of us today. I had requested a fresh cup of half and half that wasn't used my multiple guests. I'm still bring careful with my new kidney. With no hesitation, she gladly gave me a fresh cup of half and for my coffee. I appreciate her kindness so much. Food came out and booooyyyyy did everything look amazing! My husband's pancakes were fluffy and had plenty of chocolate chips. The biscuits were covered with gravy. My omelet was massive and was also covered in gravy. I was ready to tear into them potatoes! They were nice and charry. I know this meal is about to hit! I don't think I said a word to my husband for 15 minutes. The food was so good! Nothing important needed to be talked about when the food was doing the talking for us. My omelet was stuffed with green peppers, onions and all the 3 meats that came with it. I love love love the gravy on top! The potatoes were crispy on the outside and so soft in the middle. The potatoes with gravy is top tier! Of course I tried my husband's pancakes.... so fluffy and sweet. The biscuits weren't crazy dense. I love that they were airy. I really had to hold back on the pancakes, I still had a whole omelet to work on. But them pancakes were the business! It's sad that this joint is clear across town. I would eat here every week if I could. Everything we had today was so good! Everything I had last time was good! The service is fantastic. I adore Memory and Peyton. Now I get to add Kendra to my list! One of the best breakfast joints in town, hands down! I'm so happy I got to start my birthday week at Moe Joe's! I look forward to coming back very soon.

We had a different server than our usual this time and she was fantastic. I wish I remembered her name to give her a shout out. I took away a star because the food wasn't as great as the last few times I visited. The eggs were overcooked (kind of dry and almost rubbery) and the hash browns were under cooked in the center. Now, if you've read my previous review, youd know how much i absolutely LOVE their pancakes - and I've made it my go-to spot for breakfast because of it. Well, either they changed the recipe or someone messed up this batch. It was nice and fluffy, but bland. That signature deliciously buttery flavor was nowhere to be found. I kept taking bites hoping my tongue was deceiving me... but there were no lies. Just disappointment. This is definitely a deal breaker. Maybe I'll try one more time. If it was just a one-time fluke, I'll update this review and stars. :::sigh:::

It has a nice ambience. Inside are a combination of booths, half booths, low and bar height tables, dark wood, with a nice semi-circular bar with a nice, semi-circular metal decoration that was filled with artificial plants, wine bottles, and small kegs. There was a wine rack accent wall on the right. It is located in downtown Boise at the corner of Idaho and 8th St along restaurant row. Our server was Matthew B, and while he was a nice guy, he did not provide good service. It took him a while to get to our table, then after we ordered drinks, it took too long to get them. We then ordered appetizers but he didn't take our dinner orders. We waited too long for the appetizers, and then we ordered our dinners, which also took a while to come out. Runners brought our food out, not Matthew. He did not to refill the women's sodas, we had to ask. He did bring another glass of wine to one of the men, but that was because he was signaled. He did not ask the other people that ordered beer and cocktails if they wanted another. We never had our water glasses refilled. We told him about the birthday celebration, and all he said was, if we ordered dessert, he would put a candle on it. What? Most places serve a complimentary dessert for a birthday celebration. He also took too long to bring us our checks. We're all good tippers. We gave him 15%; he didn't deserve it. The food was OK, not spectacular, but overpriced. As far as the apetizers, the asparagus fries were not that flavorful, though nicely crusted. The cauliflower was just OK, likewise the chicken wings. I did like the honey and balsamic grilled brussel sprouts. Speaking for my wife and I, she liked the BAM Sammy. The side salad was average. I ordered the Urban Burger. While the patty was cooked well, it was small. I can get a bigger, better burger that costs less at any number of restaurants we frequent, including a few near us (we live in Star). I did like the fries. Crispy, with I believe Parmesan cheese coating them. My friend said his smoked salmon salad was just OK. We found it very loud, and difficult to hear each other in conversation. Needless to say, we have no plans to return to Fork.

I came here for a late lunch around 2 pm after arriving in Boise. They weren't crowded at this point but business wasn't dead either. My waitress was very friendly. Inside has a lived-in, intimate feel, but it was pretty dark, so much that I wasn't sure they were actually open as I was opening the door. I had the French dip sandwich with a side of tomato basil soup. The sandwich was delicious and tasted homemade in the best way. The "meat" of the sandwich was seitan. I don't THINK it was a perfect meat replica (but I've never had a real French dip), but it was very flavourful. I loved the flavour and the thick cut of their bread, but it didn't have much structure and fell apart easily as I was eating which made the sandwich very messy. The tomato basil soup was a little different. It was slightly creamy but brothy and a little chunky - not a smooth puree. Again, it tasted great and was nice and light, which was a good contrast to the very rich sandwich. It was a little slow, especially considering they weren't that busy. I didn't really mind since I wasn't on a schedule, but this is something to be aware of - don't come here for a quick meal. Not cheap, but worth it for the quality.

Talk about history and charm to this joint. Vintage cans, old cooking utensils, old school packages of Spam. There's so much history in this little venue. It's truly incredible to look at and appreciate. We were finally sat 20 minutes til closing. We got some coffee and apple juice started while we checked out the menu. After drinks were dropped off, we quickly ordered our food. My husband got chicken fried steak and I got the works omelet without the sausage. I believe they replaced it with extra ham. Food came out rather fast since we were the tail end of the day. And boy did everything look so good! My omelet looked massive. I was starving so I was so happy that it was big! The omelet was stuffed with green peppers, onions, ham, bacon and cheese. I also got a hearty side of hashbrowns. My husband got his country gravy that came with his country fried steak on the side for me. I was able to add it to my hashbrowns and omelet. Country gravy and hashbrowns is a top tier combination. And today's gravy and potatoes was money! My omelet was perfection. The onions and green peppers were nicely sautéed. There was a great amount of ham and bacon. The eggs were nicely cooked! Cheese that was in the middle was nice and melty. I ate the whole thing! Did I regret it later, yes but it was worth it! I finished half of my hashbrowns. Crispy on the outside, soft in the middle, these hashbrowns were fantastic! And the country gravy made them that much tastier. My husband enjoyed his breakfast. I most definitely enjoyed mine. Service was fabulous. Coffee was hot and always filled. Today's visit was truly fantastic. I heard that this joint is moving to Orchard. I look forward to coming and checking out the new venue. I know I won't be waiting another 20 years to come back. The food and the service was too good not to come back soon. I look forward to another omelet and one of their huge ass cinnamon rolls!
