The burgers are just what are advertised- damn good. Quality toppings and delicious juicy beef. Four stars as they are definitely pricey. The parm/truffle fries are good, but for a smallish portion of frozen fries, even with a sprinkle of truffle salt, I would skip. If I'm paying over $7 I would expect fresh potatoes. Their house IPA is great! Delicious with a burger. The boozy well drinks are decent but I would stick with the beer. Now for the customer service. We ate outside which is nice (Reston) and it is convenient to have the food brought out instead of waiting inside for it. The server forgot half the condiments- when we went inside to get them, the manger(?) questioned if they were extras, because if so we'd have to pay. I don't mind paying for extras, which they were not, but ask in a friendlier tone, not accusatory. It was my grandsons sixth birthday and he wanted the Reese's pieces milkshake. Again when the manager (?) brought it out and we said it was his birthday today, absolutely no response from the manager. He turned 6! At least say Happy Birthday. It takes more than good burgers in a competitive market. It's the little things that bring people back. The shake was good but definitely too much after a filing meal. I had initially left a slightly negative review because something minor was missing from my order. The restaurant owner called and refunded my order which was very nice of them, and gave me a gift card. I'll be ordering from them again tomorrow and I feel terrible for complaining! This is a wonderful restaurant with delicious food. Update: Went back again today for some chicken sandwiches (fried and grilled). They were both excellent and they remembered me from the other time and threw in some free milkshakes and cookies. Not a place I'd go back to, at least not for the food. The drinks were okay, nothing to write home about especially for the prices, and the burgers...soggy buns, undercooked slimy meat, and way to expensive for the price. Pro tip: you have to order fries separate, they don't come with the burger, and they're also fairly hard/overcooked. The meat will be underdone no matter how you get it (we had one person get medium (their lowest cook setting) and one medium-well, and both looked the same with red insides). Was craving Buffalo Chicken and my go to spot was closed in observance of Independence Day. Built an order here online on my phone but decided to call it in to avoid online checkout process. The woman answering asked my name. After a few confusing moments, in an irritated tone she informed me they don't take call in orders. She hung up immediately before I could apologize. Only available parking is $5 without grace period, but they do validate. I arrive and the woman behind the register kept her back to me for about a minute. Eventually a kid walks up and takes my order, same order I placed online. Online it was about $14. In person it was about $20. I asked and the woman with her back to me answered, apparently they don't "bundle" in person, only online. Seems a bit of a racket. Also seems I irritated the manager for asking. For me, at a fast food style location $20 is a bit pricey for a sandwich and fries, even if they are Parmesan truffle. So I skipped fries and paid $12ish for a single chicken sandwich. Second star for decent hot chicken sandwich and the kid taking the order entirely outclassed the manager. Overall poor first experience here and I don't expect to return. read more

The only positive was that the Nutella milkshake tasted like Nutella, and was satisfactorily thick and cold; Otherwise, this place should be called Damn.Lame.Burgers. You read that right: L-A-M-E! My family went here for burgers - for the $$$$$ price, we were expecting awesome gourmet fast food. served hot - especially since the joint was pretty much empty. BUT NO! We were one of 4 tables occupied in this place, which has a modern, but sterile ambiance. For some unknown reason our food was brought to us pretty much cold. The meat was dry and overcooked (despite us being told it COULD BE COOKED medium-rare - but not rare) and flavorless. I think they probably do that because they don't have especially good quality meat. The fries were like flavorless dry twigs - you can find better (and served hot) at McDonalds Wendys, or Burger King. The Ruben burger came with a pathetically thin garnish (not layer) of corned beef - it was about 1 millimeter thin, not the thick juicy-looking hunk shown in the photos that we saw on the board there. Really disappointing experience, apart from the hardly-consoling fact that you don't need to empty out your tray of trash like in many fast-food joints. Don't waste your time and money going here - I would go to The Counter or to Five Guys, or to Charred in the future. At least THEY know how to serve tasty, juicy burgers and well-seasoned fries. read more

We loved the diverse/something for everyone menu. Hubby had a burger bowl and loved it; I had a grilled chicken bowl and loved it. The beers are many and good. Hubby had a milkshake but will be back for the burgers and buns. The ambience, customer service, and Alex's exceptional managing of my preference for organic -- explaining where items are sourced and always organic if possible, etc. It's now a go-to place.
