I am a customer service manager and, on the 6/23/2026 my Daughter took her family out to eat dinner,not really just stop in for a bite. We could've chosen another restaurant but that's where my daughter wanted to basically eat and, I could tell you about your customer. Service is zero .first of all your cashier that has so much tattoo or even if he is a manager, he has no acknowledgment of his customers, we order for our 11 month old baby and what we got in was not what we ordered. We got fried chicken fingers. when we asked for a grilled and the reason for them frying it is because they were closing the restaurant down before time. What are you paying them for? I only need that we were not the only customer that was in the store that I noticed that they were closing the restaurant before time if you close at 8 o'clock for your restaurant, then you should take care of the last customer. There was multiple customer that came by was that the loss of revenue first of all, then our food sucks Well, we asks for was not what was given. $90 spent in your establishments . I needed a filling yet easy lunch after a long travel day, and Big Buns satisfied. It's conveniently located right near the Wiehle-Reston East metro stop, so I just had to stroll out of the station and right in the door. The staff was welcoming and helpful. I got the peppercorn steakhouse burger on a gluten free bun, and it was an epic stack! Really savory, with nicely sautéed mushrooms hitting the spot. (Remove the onion straws to make it fully gluten free.) There are a bunch of other restaurants and a Starbucks in the plaza, so there are other eating options as well. Well, it has been 3 years since my last review and these burgers still slay, as my granddaughters would say. The size and taste of these burgers is amazing. They are super delicious. I can't finish one in a sitting, because they are so large. They are a quality burger with attention to detail. The bun tastes like a brioche roll. I love the crisp bacon and pickled onions. Service is great. We always have our order ready and waiting. The ambiance is nice. It is clean, modern, and comfortable. I just love this place. Well, Big Buns has been expanding pretty steadily and we just haven't really been compelled to try another burger joint....but...my son has been hearing good things about Big Buns so we head to the Reston location which is right at the Wiehle Metro. They have numerous specialty burgers with different toppings if you are into that (i.e. avocado, egg, mushrooms, carmelized onions, etc). We opt for the Bug Buns Bundle for $13.99 which is a 7 oz classic burger with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles and ketchup. You also get fries and a drink. Not a bad deal. The burger comes out and you can tell it is fresh not frozen with good beefy flavor. The bun is a nice brioche bun. My son says it tastes like a 'backyard bbq' type burger...which is a good thing. Lot's that was good, one thing, not so much. Firstly, the good stuff. There was plenty of inside parking, which was free with the restaurant's validation. Also, the Big Buns entrance is just a few steps from the garage, so it's very convenient. The place was spotless, and the staff kept cleaning when they weren't doing anything else. And one of the things they were doing when they weren't cleaning was to be very pleasant and helpful. I ordered their "special," a Classic burger (with everything), fries, and a soda.. Everything tasted great, and the only issue was with how my burger was prepared. I ordered it medium. What I got was (barely) rare. It tasted OK and could have been even better if it had been cooked as I requested. I could have sent it back, I guess, but it *was* tasty and I was hungry. If I ever do go back, I'll ask for Medium Well and be more insistent if it comes out with a cool red center. read more

One of the best burgers I've had! My husband and I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and the anniversary burger (one of the more popular items) with Cajun fries. Service was great - they are so friendly! Great sizing and portion and so flavorful. The caramelized onion on the burger was *chefs kiss*. Great food, ample parking and excellent view. Big Buns Damn Good Burgers is a need to try burger place. The people at Big Buns are excellent. They a very welcoming and accommodating. The food is also great. The burgers a large and tasty. They are not too dry nor are they soggy. The presentation of the food is also different to that of other burger shops. In stead of wrapped in some sort of wrapper it is nicely displayed on a tray and presented with a knife for those who like to cut their burgers. I like to go with the make your own option when ordering however their menu is full of burgers that look very appetizing. For those who do not eat beef or like burgers they also have some chicken burger options. I highly recommend the Parmesan Truffle Fries as a side to your meal. The location and layout of Big Buns is fantastic. It has a wonderful view of the office park that it is located in. You can also see the large screen in the office park (which displays various things throughout the year) through the large bay like windows that can be opened in good weather. In terms of seating there is both plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Parking at the office park where Big Buns is located is pay to park, however, Big Buns validate park which is convenient. You just have to bring your ticket inside and scan it near the register. With great customer service, great tasting food and having an excellent location I would not be surprised to see Big Buns Damn Good Burger expanding more and more over the upcoming years. Been wanting to try the burgers here since they opened, so opted to order curbside pickup. Just ordered the classic burger, angus beef, and added standard toppings with no sauce. I noticed that you couldn't order the burger Medium rare, which is my preference, so I ordered it medium. When I took my first bite, it was much closer to medium rare, which was fine for me but others expected it to be more cooked in the center might not be too happy. I ordered the Cajun fries, the ones with Old Bay, Cayenne, and Paprika. I was very disappointed in the fries. They were cold and didn't taste very good. I also ordered the nutella milkshake, which, though good, was very small for the price. This was just an okay meal. Probably won't be back as the Counter and BGR are much better and just as close. I have been here multiple times and the food is great. I love the fun milkshakes like the one that comes with a mini unicorn floaty!

First, I want to say that, yes, there is outdoor seating. However, it consists of a few picnic benches that are shared by a couple of businesses. The setup here is that you have to go inside to order your food at the counter. With that in mind, since we went for an early dinner, we opted to eat indoors. They have set things up so that there are some tables that remain unoccupied at all times. However, now it's May 28th and such restrictions are being lifted... Anyway, back to the food and dining experience. We were here on a Sunday shortly before 5 p.m. At that time, the place was empty. We walked up to the counter and placed our order. Both of us ordered the "classic burger". I topped mine with American cheese, lettuce and tomato. My husband topped his with Swiss cheese, lettuce and tomato. We both got our burgers cooked medium. To drink, I had blackberry lemonade and my husband had a bottle of water. We were given a number to put on our table. Then we chose a booth. I recommend taking a booth because the seats at the tables are basically just stools (not very comfortable). The burgers came out with very little wait time. They were thick and juicy. And, yes, they were "Damn Good"---that we both were in agreement. The only drawback was the lettuce was kind of sad---shredded and on the wilted side. Since we didn't get fries, I can't speak to how good they might be. The burger was just enough food for us. The blackberry lemonade was good---not too tart, not too sweet---just right. No one flavor predominated instead they complimented each other quite well. The bottled water was Dasani (something that my husband didn't know when ordering). He really dislikes that brand. I really enjoyed my bites of the hot and hefe burger. The Dijon mustard in the anniversary burger was a little intense for me so I ended up trading my burger to the hot and hefe entirely. I liked the truffle fries but if you're trying to save some $, it's not that worth it. The Cajun fries were okay- tasted like fries with old bay seasoning sprinkled on top. I paired it with French fries...they were seasoned with salt and pepper and sooooo good! I'd heard a lot about Big Buns, so was super excited to try their damn good burgers! The menu consists of a bunch of designer burgers and an option to build your own. They have both veggie and impossible patties as options for vegetarians. I made my own since none of the designer burgers looked super amazing. However I wanted to cater to my own taste palate and combine specific parts of each. I got a veggie patty with lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, onions, pickled onions, jalapeños, mushrooms, sautéed onions, and honey mustard. Overall the burger was very mid. The patty was solid but wasn't anything special and was a little dry. The sauces also tastes standard. I also tried a bit of the Hot & Hefe. It was made with a veggie patty, pepper Jack cheese, avocado, grilled habanero and serano pico de gallo, and sriracha aioli. I liked it a lot better than my build your own, but again it was nothing ground breaking. I've had similar burgers before! The patty was still dry but the sandwich came together more cohesively. We also got fries and a shake on the side. The regular freis were dry and not seasoned at all. The cajun fries were seasoned super well but weren't crispy at all. I also wish they had more access and variety of dipping sauces. They charge for getting more than one! The chocolate shake was a solid addition. Overall the ambiance was dope. It's a large restaurant with open seating and lots of paper towels rolls (trust me you'll need them!). Keep in mind that food was on the pricier side. It's location at Reston Metro Center was a huge turn off. The parking garage is extremely difficult to navigate and understand. read more

And despite ordering online to exacting detail, and it being ignored in full, I ended up standing in a line before one of three people doing nothing in the rear stopped staring at me and came forward to ask if me or the other guy were picking up. This one is located on the metro plaza- if you know where to park in the garage, its easy to get to, and parking is validated. The staff was superb, especially the manager on duty. Anything we needed they took care of, and were super friendly. But the burgers were just plain ok. The kids burger is a decent size, but was a little too plain tasting for my daughter. Another burger that we liked was the horseradish bourbon burger. The Shirlington Hot chicken sandwich was good but beware, it is spicy. It had all kinds of hot pepper mixes that made it more unique than the typical Nashville hot sauce. The chicken was moist and the flavors were bold. Do yourself a favor and order the parmesan truffle fries and jammin' sprouts. Those are excellent sides. The shakes are good; though I've not had a bad shake before.
