Over the weekend, our family decided to go to DSG, we ended up spending $149~, it was $100 gift cards and the rest was cash. I didn't realize my toddler slipped in some random $17 socks, so I went in the next day to return them. I was met with Oscar, he was nice. I asked if I could get a cash refund since it was a small amount, he said no, due to it's based on whatever majority payment method was used. I leave it at that, I am disappointed because I really don't need $17 gc, I would like cash back. As I am walking back I am reading the back of the receipt, where it says refund will be made on initial form of payment, not majority used like Oscar advised. I spoke with my husband who was frustrated, told him what I read and what was said. My husband thought of work around, we can buy a more expensive item, use cash first for the majority and use the gift cards for the rest. So my husband goes in to try that. Oscar explains, no we can't do that, that it's the system gravitating towards a card. My husband points out what the receipt says, Oscar says it shows on the website, but does not bring it up. My husband returns to the car frustrated, because Oscar just lied and instead of asking for helped, insisted on dying on the hill the customer isn't always right. At this point, I'm going back into the store. I see Oscar talking among his colleagues talking about what just happened with my husband. Im still nice, but I request a supervisor. Supervisor explains Oscar is wrong it's not Majority it's just how the system works. I ask him, how does he want to correct this, and he just offers to cash it. It was such a simple fix. Oscar just needed guidance on how to navigate. I felt like this issue didn't need us as many times going into the store, If Oscar just asked for guidance in the beginning. It was frustrating experience overall. I'm glad we got the result we wanted, but just having to go through hoops, and it was a waste of time. Personally for me, this location left a poor taste, just because I am in customer service. I felt like the training could have been better. I appreciate the supervisor making it right.

**Firearm Counter Review**…read more These guys are absolutely horrendous. There's two young ladies that work the counter that I never had issues picking up online firearm orders from. I had such a terrible experience with the last firearm purchase that I finally said "to hell with it just give me a refund". At this point I would rather spend the money at Cabela's/Bass Pro. The manager back there, Jeff, treats you like an absolute burden. Instead of applying customer service and working to help you, he's dismissive, arrogant and ridiculously rude. Worst customer service I have had in a VERY long time, probably ever. I bought 4 other firearms here in the last 90 days to add to my collection, and THIS WAS THE LAST TIME I DID ANY BUSINESS HERE! If you have to go here, deal with the young ladies who work the counter. Everyone else is only going to waste your time, make you take 2-3 trips to the store just to say "We can't do anything for you, sorry", blow you off and look relieved about it. ***NOT WORTH SPENDING YOUR MONEY HERE - GO TO CABELAS/BASS PRO JUST DOWN THE I-5***

Albeit they provide more freshwater fishing gear versus saltwater, but I usually find exactly what i need. Plus, this type of fishing gear is expected for Oregon. Not only do they have fishing gear, but they've got an endless amount of camping equipment, outdoor shoes, firearms, archery gear, kayaks, Carhartt clothing, pellet grills, and much more. If I lived closer to Bass Pro Shop or Cabela's, I'd go there, but I feel they have the same quality type of products here at Sportsmans Warehouse. And the prices are slightly lower price in my opinion. I can go to Big5, but their big sale items usually are considered cheap (some items, not all). I don't mind the text or email ads regarding what's on sale because I'll usually find a really good deal from time to time. Depending on the season. That's just another plus in my book! The main reason for this review is actually for associate, Colby. He helped me from start to finish with a major purchase. Answered many of my questions and offered useful knowledge. I'll be making more purchases here in the future for sure. Thanks Colby!

At the end of 2017, District 11 Little League (California) presented my league, Sierra Foothills…read moreLittle League, with a new baseball uniform program designed around Nike clothing and managed by Gear Up Sports. We are a relatively small league, but we have approx. 400 kids needing jerseys & hats each season, so there are a lot of moving pieces. At first, I was hesitant as I just came off of a successful season where I was able to source all uniforms through local suppliers (I am big into supporting local folks). However, the presentation of the offer as well as the help mocking up designs was first rate & I immediately presented the offer to my board. Quite quickly, we voted to enter into a multi-year agreement with Gear Up & Nike to provide our kids with high quality, affordable, brand recognizable uniforms. Right off the bat, the team at Gear Up sent over a planning worksheet to start establishing divisions, teams, jersey style & colors, jersey printing colors & design, hat style & color, hat embroidery colors, design & thread colors...not to mention the lead times and deadlines to hit. Needless to say, lots of information is required to organize & coordinate a league full of kid's jerseys! Gathering and organizing the data above takes quite a bit of time and constant updating of information. My league has local constraints such as weather, etc. that tends to push my orders uncomfortably close to my deadlines, but Gear Up was able to maneuver and get creative with printing & shipping so as all deadlines will be achieved. Actually, as I write this, the second batch of jerseys are being shipped and are hitting my timeframe perfectly! As for the ever-important communication with Gear Up I can easily say that they are there to get the job done. Phone calls, emails, texts...whatever way you need to communicate, they make it happen. (Great job Chris & Mac!). We opted for a stock Nike Vapor Dri-FIT model that our kids, coaches & parents were very happy with from our previous Fall season. The jerseys look great as does the decoration. These Nike jerseys fit very true to size and run long as a baseball jersey should! The length requires you to tuck them in so your teams look sharp, not sloppy. The hats were high quality twill snap backs that were color coordinated to the franchise team color and when combined with the uniforms, they look great! I gave Gear Up a 4-star review because I feel that they put in a great amount of effort to make this work for me and my league this pre-season. I considered tossing out a 5 but I would like to get a full season behind me of continued success...I absolutely expect this to be the case. I will gladly promote Gear Up Sports to others who seek league sports jerseys, especially when there are large quantities of multi-color, multi-design uniforms involved. Great job Gear Up Sports!

My daughter has missed two track meets without a uniform, and they just said they will "email me with an update". It's been 7 weeks! If I ever get my order, the season will basically be over. I asked if they could rush ship a basic uniform (tank and shorts), so she at least has a matching uniform to compete in, and customer service said "once we figure out what the technical issue was with your order, we will try to get your items to you as soon as we can". No urgency and very little updates. Very disappointed, and would not go through them again for any gear.

The store is huge, has many departments - swim, camping, women's, men's and children's apparel, hiking, biking, hats and accessories, fitness items, winter coats, rain gear and more. But within some areas, there is hardly any merchandise. For example, the Swim section was minimal. There was a big sign and display, but turns out that was it. Literally just a handful of swimsuits, one or two rash guards, no goggles, fins or gear. Did I mention just a handful of swimsuits? Was highly disappointed but since I was there, decided to walk the aisles. The vast majority of the store is filled with clothing. Racks and racks of clothing. Like it's sister store and neighbor, Marshall's, they must get leftover clothing from other stores and sell at a discount. There are definitely good finds among the racks, but I wasn't shopping for clothing and didn't have the patience. Ended up buying a wide brimmed sun hat with SPF of 50 for just $16.99. There were only three customers at the checkout but it still seemed to take forever. Of course this area is filled with a plethora of spontaneous purchases - trail mix, gadgets of every kind, hiking books, flashlights, etc. For me, Sierra will never be a destination like Marshall's where I will go far out of my way to visit. But for those who want outdoorsy clothing, this could be your Marshall's.

Things were clearly marked percentages off- like "40% off" .... but there was no original pricing nor was there a price of the discounted rate either. it was very frustrating to even consider making a purchase. When I walked in, I was immediately welcomed by Katy whom by coincidence was the person I had been communicating with via email, perfect! I can't say I've had any experience purchasing from this place as other yelpers have. But wow, what a perfect little facility on holding a single event. We had planned for lunch at a restaurant to follow. Its a small hunting store with a range, not a cafe lol. Much love to Katy, who explained the services to me. We had a 90 minute slot reserved prior to lunchtime and needed an instructor. Our group was only eleven people, so our rate was about $13.50 per person for rentals. Which included the 90 minute session of range time, one paper target, and rental gear of a recurve bow and arrows. And we did use a "range host" for an additional $100. I think his name was Jim, but I forgot. He was great, but sorta wish he would've explained a little more about safety as we had a few folks new to archery. Regardless, if you're looking for a fun team-building facility, this might just be a good option. My team had fun, and we likely would do it again. Other highlights: - The monitors above to view the targets. Like a bowling alley score tracker. - And the stars on Lane 13, honoring those (likely friends and family) that have served our military. A salute to them and our country! God bless America!

On May 1st for the second time, I brought to the attention of the Walmart in Cornelius Oregon that…read morethey were in violation of State Law by allowing non-service dogs into their location. I was treated rudely by the front-end manager, Amanda. She basically blew me off. I was also told sarcastically by another associate that "why don't I shop Winco or Safeway as they do not allow dogs." I will admit that I did become agitated. After I went home the local police showed up at my house to inform me that Walmart had trespassed me for one year. Apparently, they used information from cameras in the parking lot that allowed the police to identify me from the license plate on my car. I was not given any documentation that was told it was in their system. I contacted the Store Manager Jose the next day. I presented my side of the story and apologized for my portion of any problem. He said he would investigate it. He called me back later and told me that based on conversations with his team the trespass would stand. He claimed it was based on past incidents. I asked him to provide me with dates and times, but he would not. I suggested that he talk to other store personal who would speak extremely highly of my interactions with them. He refused. He also did not even apologize for how as a customer I was treated. He told me to call 1-800-Walmart as escalation would probably reverse the situation. On May 4th, I did that and filed complaint number 260504001867. I was told that it would take 3-5 business days and that I would be contacted. Since May 9th I have been following up daily and am being told each time that it has been escalated to the highest level of management. This is obviously scripted. I am now being told that I was contacted by the store manager and that the issue has been resolved and that I was notified by email of those facts. Neither has occurred. I have asked numerous times if there is anybody else, I can contact and am told no. I am told that they also have no other way of contacting other than filing a report. Walmart makes it entirely impossible to contact anyone. Even if you call the corporate number that is a result of an internet search a recording tells you to call 1-800-Walmart. I have contacted the police about the fact that the Cornelius Walmart is in violation of state law and have been told that it is something they don't deal with. Yesterday I attempted to contact the local store manager and after several attempts was told by Jill the Assistant Manager that he was in a meeting, and he would call me back later. He did not. I again attempted today to contact him and again was connected with Jill. She did ultimately transfer the call to Jose the Store Manager. I explained to him what I was told by customer service. I also reexplained the facts as I see them. He stated that they were still going to allow all dogs (even unleashed) into the store and that the one-year trespass would stand. I informed him that I guess I would need to contact the local news media and he hung up on me. I have asked both Winco on SW Oak in Hillsboro and the Walmart Neighborhood market on SW Murray Bl in Beaverton how they handle it when non-service dogs are brought into the store. They stated that they politely ask that the person take the dog outside. If the customer does not comply, they refer them to the posted poster from the Oregon Department of Agriculture which states only Service Animals are allowed and it even states that Comfort Animals are not.

I later called Kaiser myself, and although they hadn't sent the prescription yet, I followed up. When I spoke to Christopher on the phone, he said he had registered me for Walmart notifications and that I should wait to be contacted. Three weeks passed and I received no updates, so I returned to the store to check on the order. A different employee told me that nothing had been processed. That day, I finally placed the order with another employee. Today, when I went to pick up the glasses, I reminded Christopher of our previous phone conversation and mentioned that I had never received any notification. Instead of acknowledging the situation, he replied, "Nothing gets processed until it's paid." I said, "Well, then you should've told me that in the first place." His response? "Regardless, what's your last name?"--in a curt and dismissive tone, and then he continued with the process. At the end, I told him, "Have a good day," and he didn't even reply. I've often noticed how empty that store is, and honestly, it makes sense. The staff didn't seem interested in helping, and their attitude gave the impression that assisting customers was more of an inconvenience than part of their job.
