On May 1st for the second time, I brought to the attention of the Walmart in Cornelius Oregon that they were in violation of State Law by allowing non-service dogs into their location. I was treated rudely by the front-end manager, Amanda. She basically blew me off. I was also told sarcastically by another associate that "why don't I shop Winco or Safeway as they do not allow dogs." I will admit that I did become agitated. After I went home the local police showed up at my house to inform me that Walmart had trespassed me for one year. Apparently, they used information from cameras in the parking lot that allowed the police to identify me from the license plate on my car. I was not given any documentation that was told it was in their system. I contacted the Store Manager Jose the next day. I presented my side of the story and apologized for my portion of any problem. He said he would investigate it. He called me back later and told me that based on conversations with his team the trespass would stand. He claimed it was based on past incidents. I asked him to provide me with dates and times, but he would not. I suggested that he talk to other store personal who would speak extremely highly of my interactions with them. He refused. He also did not even apologize for how as a customer I was treated. He told me to call 1-800-Walmart as escalation would probably reverse the situation. On May 4th, I did that and filed complaint number 260504001867. I was told that it would take 3-5 business days and that I would be contacted. Since May 9th I have been following up daily and am being told each time that it has been escalated to the highest level of management. This is obviously scripted. I am now being told that I was contacted by the store manager and that the issue has been resolved and that I was notified by email of those facts. Neither has occurred. I have asked numerous times if there is anybody else, I can contact and am told no. I am told that they also have no other way of contacting other than filing a report. Walmart makes it entirely impossible to contact anyone. Even if you call the corporate number that is a result of an internet search a recording tells you to call 1-800-Walmart. I have contacted the police about the fact that the Cornelius Walmart is in violation of state law and have been told that it is something they don't deal with. Yesterday I attempted to contact the local store manager and after several attempts was told by Jill the Assistant Manager that he was in a meeting, and he would call me back later. He did not. I again attempted today to contact him and again was connected with Jill. She did ultimately transfer the call to Jose the Store Manager. I explained to him what I was told by customer service. I also reexplained the facts as I see them. He stated that they were still going to allow all dogs (even unleashed) into the store and that the one-year trespass would stand. I informed him that I guess I would need to contact the local news media and he hung up on me. I have asked both Winco on SW Oak in Hillsboro and the Walmart Neighborhood market on SW Murray Bl in Beaverton how they handle it when non-service dogs are brought into the store. They stated that they politely ask that the person take the dog outside. If the customer does not comply, they refer them to the posted poster from the Oregon Department of Agriculture which states only Service Animals are allowed and it even states that Comfort Animals are not. read more

I witnessed an employee by the name of Jack helping a handicap customer throughout the store, multiple employees ignored him but he clearly needed help, I'm happy there's still someone that still works at Walmart that goes above and beyond to help! read more

I had a very disappointing experience at Walmart's optical department. I initially went in person to place my order, and at the time, the staff member named Christopher told me he couldn't call Kaiser to get the prescription. I later called Kaiser myself, and although they hadn't sent the prescription yet, I followed up. When I spoke to Christopher on the phone, he said he had registered me for Walmart notifications and that I should wait to be contacted. Three weeks passed and I received no updates, so I returned to the store to check on the order. A different employee told me that nothing had been processed. That day, I finally placed the order with another employee. Today, when I went to pick up the glasses, I reminded Christopher of our previous phone conversation and mentioned that I had never received any notification. Instead of acknowledging the situation, he replied, "Nothing gets processed until it's paid." I said, "Well, then you should've told me that in the first place." His response? "Regardless, what's your last name?"--in a curt and dismissive tone, and then he continued with the process. At the end, I told him, "Have a good day," and he didn't even reply. I've often noticed how empty that store is, and honestly, it makes sense. The staff didn't seem interested in helping, and their attitude gave the impression that assisting customers was more of an inconvenience than part of their job. read more

Got held up for 20 minutes with someone who doesnt speak english, they made me make an account with walmart to view my receipt. Terrible company with terrible employees. read more

I was mistaken, which shouldn't have been treated with such a rude tone halfway accusing me of up to no good. We do much of our weekly shopping at this store every Sunday. It's the typical Walmart.... clean, well lit, mostly well stocked although lately the shelves seem to be a lot more bare at least regarding items that we typically want. It's getting annoyingly common to have to make a second trip elsewhere to pick up items that the store in Cornelius does not have. So minus one star for that. The checkout process at this location is a whole different matter. Depending on who the supervisor happens to be on any particular day, there could be many checkout lines open or just a couple. And for reasons that make sense to no one, Walmart seems to staff the "express" checkout lines with the slowest, laziest, most inept employees on the Planet. Of course since we go there every week we know who the deadheads are and of course avoid their checkout lanes. Prices are great, of course...which is why we do a lot of business at Walmart stores. read more

I'm very upset and so bother by the experience I had shopping here yesterday, that it makes me not want to shop at any Walmart Store. If this was not a big deal to me, I would not be writing this review. I love shopping at Walmart and the low prices that the company has to offer, but if this is the kind of service I'm going to get... then I rather take my business elsewhere. -- So yesterday (02/16/2022), I had the worst experience shopping at the Walmart #4221 in Cornelius... I shop at this store regularly, but the customer service I had was very bad and I have never felt so discriminated in my entire life until yesterday! I had a few transactions that I had to do at the Service Desk, which Paul assisted me with. I did a money transfer, I did a return which I had a receipt for, and I also had another item that my daughter received as a gift for her birthday, but it was defective and all I wanted to do was exchange it. Paul had told me that he couldn't process a refund or exchange for anything that doesn't have a receipt. But clearly the policy mat on the counter says that if you don't have a receipt it can be refunded to a gift card if it's over $10 or cash if it's under $10. He said their store changed their policy a few weeks ago. So I asked for a manager since it's not posted anywhere and Jill came, she said the same thing and that it was the store manager desegregation. So I said ok, and asked for a higher manager... she said she was the only one and no else could assist me with this situation. But as I was finishing up my money transfer with Paul, the next customer in line that was called to the other register had an item that her daughter also received as a gift with no receipt, the associate explained the no receipt policy and the customer also asked for a manager. My transaction was done so I stepped aside to observe the action taken for the similar situation that I had. Jill came back out to assist with that customer and she made an exception to the "no receipt" policy for her. So if she's going to make an exception for one customer then she should be consistent with their policy. We both didn't have a receipt for a gift that our daughters received as a gift, but the other customer was given an exception to do an exchange for an item that cost more than the item I had, which was less than $10. I went by the fitting room to ask if there was any manager on duty... and the associate called for Coach Rhonda to come up. So, I explained to her my situation and what's going on and she said she will get with the Frontend... I waited and she came back and told me that they can't do anything unless I have a receipt or any information on the purchase so they could look it up... it was a gift, and I don't have the purchase information from the person who bought it. So, why was I being given a difficult time, when the other customer had no problem to do an exchange and didn't have to provide any purchase information to do a look up on the transaction! read more

One guy tells me someone is on the way, girl at the register tells me customer service doesn't open until 8. They did call someone over through the intercom but I've yet to see anyone. This store is reasonable price. But I would say the supervisor here don't know how too keep their thoughts to themselves; this lady name Jackie had the nerd to say out loud to me and her coworker that she not going to honor the prices for each items. I explain the price online and in store. So, she contact the manger. The manger was nice he wasn't as rude as her. Also, don't allowed other supervisors or lead be involved this incidents, it's between the cashier; supervisor and manger; this made feel unfair and disrespected. Do please re-teach and re-education an employee like her. She makes your store look bad. I like great prices, but the way she point it out makes me don't want to shop here due to poor people skills and no proper interaction with customers or maybe because I'm a color person; I get treated poorly by her. Manager Jammie at the Cornelius location is rude and inconsiderate to costumers. I recently went into Walmart to return formula I purchased a few months prior during the formula shortage. Due to the limited supply I was stocking up wherever I could to ensure I would be able to feed my newborn son. Because I had several cans of formula it took me some time to realize that some of the cans I purchased were the wrong kind and upset my sons stomach. As soon as I realized my mistake I went to the store with the remaining unopened cans (about $200 worth) hoping for some kind of exchange or store credit. Manager Jammie was incredibly rude and condescending, borderline hostile. When she decided she wouldn't speak to me any more she stacked my formula up in front of me and said "we are done! I'm not talking to you anymore!". I asked for her name and she held her badge up in my face and said "Jammie with TWO Ms" in a snarky tone. I am incredibly disappointed in this location. Not only is the store poorly maintained, dirty, and frequently out of stock with many items, but they have poor customer service as well. read more

We did online order and pick up in store, we stood there at the pick up area for 15 minutes and not one of the 5 associates in site helped us. We checked in, there are zero instructions on what to do just says to wait. We flagged down someone who was clueless and when he came around again, we said hey nobody has come and helped us. He then walked Into a room and got our order. The manger also was near us. Slowest pick up ever and we will not order ahead again for pick up, we could of went in and found the one item faster than the 20 minutes that took to get our order. He did say they are trying to work on it, but worst order ahead experience and we would still probably be there If we didn't find someone and ask them. Rarely, if ever, can I say I had a great experience here. Thus why I rarely come to this store when I come into the Portland metro area. Today, Icsel changed my opinion of this particular store. She should be in charge of training ALL the other associates on how to actually help a customer. We stopped by this Walmart to get food and drinks, one of the purchases being alcohol. Our sweet cashier could not get the pack to scan (no big deal) so she called the manager. The manager, Jammie, rolled her eyes as she was listening to the problem and rudely told the cashier to "move out of my way". She told us (without even looking up from her phone) that this item wasn't an item registered as a store item so we can't buy it and rudely tossed it to the side and walked away without saying anything else. It's obvious she treats her employees and customers with no respect; another review saying she even told a Hispanic customer to "speak English because this is America". Ordered for pickup at a little before 3:00 on 2/28. Order was supposed to be ready for pickup on Sun 2/28. I never received an email stating that it was ready for pickup so I called at 5 pm and the person that I spoke to said it would be ready by 8 pm. By 8 pm I still hadn't received a confirmation email. Its 3/1 and I STILL don't have a confirmation email stating its ready for pickup. On 3/1 I called the desk at 7:00 am when they opened and no one answered at the Pickup Desk or at Customer Service until 7:30 am. I asked about my item and, after checking, they had said it was ready for pickup yesterday at 3pm. I am very frustrated at their lack of communication and misinformation. If your going to buy any produce from the Cornelius/ Forest Grove Walmart, watch out for GNATS!!! as I walked into the produce section last week I seen about 3 hundred fly up from the fruits I was looking at right into my face... Didnt think much of it then, just moved away and got some apples, bananas, & Strawberry's. But they all were in a 10' radius of the spot I seen the swarm of Gnats so I shouldn't of got any. Cuz ever since then my kitchen is infested with them, my bathroom and even my bedroom. All from the buying produce from a company I thought had standards?! With as many Gnats that flew up in my face when I got close to the produce, there's no way I was the first person that happened to and for Staff to let that go on and say nothing as people are buying and taking these gnat infested fruits and veggies home is down right disgusting and they should have to pay to for this and make it right. I will never buy anything that's fresh, open, or sitting out without a package again from WALMART. You staff need to pick up and learn some standards when it comes to what your letting your customers not only buy,, but take home and potentially cause even more damage at home. Also I just went through about 35 reviews and I've never seen a company with so many piss poor reviews. Didn't see not ONE POSITIVE REVIEW from anyone.. Lmao!! read more

Totally unimpressed by this store; and I promise you it's the last time that they see us. This is no small statement; for a the last 6 months we have spent over $600 a month in this store. We have witnessed some horrible customer service; one cashier when faced with the fact that the shelf had a $40 item reduced to $25, he charged us not only the $40 but the discounted price. When I brought this to his attention he told me that I didn't know what I was talking about, was to old to do math correctly and to take it up with Customer Service. The Manager corrected the error; thank God. Today was the last straw. We purchased $52 worth of ammunition at Sporting Goods; which I rang up at the Sporting Goods counter. Was told to put the ammo on the belt when we finally checked out; spending an additional $235. (So we spent $287 on this visit!). So, we had to do a price check on an item; which took over 25 minutes, which the price was finally corrected. During the price check; the cashier looked at the ammo stuck it in another (3rd) plastic bag and left it on the grocery bag dispenser and NEVER returned it to us! We got home searched through everything noticing that the ammo was missing; immediately called and told "We will take care of it." I returned today; was basically called a liar and treated like i was stealing from the store. I guess this means they don't value their customers. We will spend our $7,200 a year elsewhere! read more

Drove all the way out here for a car battery. Called ahead of time to try and find out if it was in stock before I headed out. I was put on hold for 20 minutes and no one ever came back on the line to help me. So I show up at the store and after walking to the farthest corner of the store to pick up the battery they do not have it. I tried to find a worker for almost 20 minutes who could answer my questions and it seemed nooone cared or wanted to help me out. Also the warranty on their batteries is garbage and the product they sell is garbage so I am very grateful that they did not have the battery in stock. I will never shop here again. Rude unattentive sales people, Nasty customers, and an overall "Trailer Park Trash" feel to the whole experience will cause me to never return to this or any other Walmart. Now I get why they have their own crime rates, and why people hate them so much. Corporate is a bad thing people. A very bad thing! read more

Love the store. I live here in Cornelius and the store is just a couple of miles a way. Oregon is a funny place. The Portland crowd love to complain about the store, yet say nothing about the Target and Fred Meyer stores that dot the landscape of our city and suburbs. Needless to say, Walmart has had a tough go finding locations, and so there are not many around. Now that we have a local store, we can save the 45 minute trek that we previously had to drive to the nearest store. Inside the store itself, you'd find the usual Walmart wares. Those who don't like the store will find they still do not, the rest of us whom enjoy lower prices for regular everyday stuff will be pleased to find that Walmart has most of what you will need. The pharmacy is super helpful. I switched my entire family's pharmaceutical needs from Walgreens to Walmart. They fill stuff fast, and they have a computer that will call you automatically when your refills are ready (just ask them to set it up for you). On a final note, living just a couple miles away, I was a bit worried that floods, famine, locusts, and drought would wreak havoc upon our fair city, as our Portland friends predicted, but I'm happy to report that no such things have yet to occur. read more

This Walmart is just like other Walmarts. It's not a five star Walmart because their staff aren't always in the best of moods or very nice to deal with. Sometimes they just don't seem to care about the customer but about just getting their shift done and over with. I've been to this location plenty of times just because it's the only Walmart that is close to me. There have been a couple of times when I've gone and the bathrooms are closed and you have to go all the way to the back bathrooms. Or if the front bathrooms are open they aren't clean or they aren't stocked up. The Walmart itself is in nice shape and is normally clean and kept up with. read more

If you have the Walmart card you can get some extra savings, and their "ship to Store" option is an awesome way to get free shipping on stuff. I've always been a huge fan of Walmart in the past. We moved to Forest Grove over a year ago and this Walmart is the worst one I have ever been to. Start out by walking in the door. There is a large screen there showing the time / weather. The time is always off by 2 hours. All other Walmart stores that I have been to have this correct. (Yes, it's a minor thing, but it just sets the stage. If they can't get the clock right, what can they do right. Always makes me think of going to my parents house and the VCR always flashing 12:00.) We have waited around for over an hour to pick up pictures that we uploaded from the website. Nobody was working the department and nobody knew anything. We saw the pictures in the machine, so finally we just grabbed the pictures, told someone what we did so we could pay and then walked out. The lines at the cashier are always at least 5 people long. Normal wait in line is around 20 minutes. I was going to get my fishing license so I went back to the sporting goods department. Nobody was there. (Big surprise.) There was a phone there labeled to use for help. I picked up the phone and they said that someone would be right there. I waited 20 minutes without anyone showing up. I called again and it just rang and rang. Kept calling over and over again. I finally just gave up after waiting for 45 minutes. On the way out the door, I passed an employee. I told her what had happened. She took me back and helped me out. This proves that there are good people here, just not enough of them. (This is also the reason I bumped my review to 2 stars) I never shop here on a normal basis. Safeway and Freddy's are just down the road. Yes, they are slightly more expensive, but even that isn't the case as much these days. However, I just don't want to spend all day at Walmart to buy groceries or whatever I need. Overall, I still go to other Walmart stores when I travel and I have never seen one as bad as ours. If I was a district manager for the area, I would truly be embarrassed by this one. read more
