I don't understand the low ratings. One-stop shopping for groceries, housewares, pets, gardening, clothes, furniture, electronics, even Fred Meyer jewelry. There's also a big Carters section. All that's missing is a car wash lol. Realized this is a subsidiary of Krogers and fireworks are legal in Oregon! Anyone over 16 can buy them. It has a Starbucks, a great cards and floral department and the bakery section has discounted items. The place is so clean, an employee was vacuuming the entrance area! RIDICULOUS is that they have motorized carts which, upon inspection show that they have a full battery charge. After barely going down two aisles and it ran out meaning I got to hobble with my cane across the store to get a regular cart. I then really hurt myself trying to get my shopping done since that whole ordeal took so long just to get a cart. One employee after another walked by saying nothing and I know better than to ask anyone at this store. I am rarely over here and I was attending an event near this store. I should have just gone to any other location. Even the gas price here seemed high as opposed to all the other Fred Meyer locations. It just feels like they mark that up since they are so close to Intel. read more

I love Cornelius Fred Meyer. I only wish they would plug in all the handicap carts at night so at 7 AM they would be fully charged. I must unload my 58 lb electric chair, which has no basket, so I tow a small shopping cart around. It bothers my shoulder when it's full, but I get it done. Before the last strike, the staff had all the carts fully charged. They were so accommodating; sometimes they would bring a cart outside. read more

It's another example that businesses's don't understand why accessible parking setup is so important for people with disabilities. It's an easy fix and it's difficult to understand how the city has approved this layout. Van accessible has the walkway on the passenger side for the ramp to deploy and to have space to roll onto the lift or ramp. read more

I'm just not a huge Fred Meyer fan. It always seems expensive even with the app and always feels overwhelming to me getting through it. There is usually people stocking which makes it a pain especially on a Sunday and lots of people there. This location didn't stand out or impress me, just happened to be in the area but next time I will wait and go to the normal ones I go to because the layouts are always slightly different. The cashier didn't have bagging help when it was my turn. The lines were long and slow. Service was ok, not super friendly except the guy in the parking lot collecting carts, he was great and didn't take the carts he had until I was done with mine. read more

The bathroom stall for people that are disabled can't get their wheelchairs or power chairs in it. I can't park my chair outside of the stall and use the bathroom. ADA needs to check this out and have Fred Meyer enlarge their disabled stall for us that need to relieve ourselves. That's my only complaint. read more

Horrible experience with their jewelry department. I gave them a necklace to have repaired. Missing a birthstone. The first issue was, the birthstone was not identified on the work order and it took them 2 weeks to contact me to ask which stone I was requesting. Since the estimated time for the repair was 3 weeks, I went in and spoke with the jewelry manager. Expressing my concern, he said he would follow up with the repair person and get back to me. That didn't happen. I called back to get an update and I was informed that it was being returned with no work done. They couldn't find a stone. Ok, no problem. I'll pick it up and find another jeweler. The next day I called back to see if it had been returned to the store and I was told no, It wasn't there. Nothing but a run around. It took yet another day and my expressing my disappointment in this department before I received a call that my necklace was there and ready for pick up. I love Fred Meyer. But, I don't think I would give my business to their jewelry department. Not professional and communication is horrible. Update.... I took my necklace to another jewelry repair shop and it's been fixed within the day and at a huge fraction of the cost I was quoted from FM. read more

They are great on fixing my order on line. Their App. Also has a place for you to put your request like we want more green bananas because we don't eat fast enough. It's a Fred Meyer, right? I did like the chain a lot better before Kroger bought them out though. This is not the closest Freddys to me. Usually only stop here for gas if the Costco gas lines are insanely long. There is usually little or no wait here and it's convenient on Sundays when we do our Walmart run. Prices are good, staff is friendly and very efficient. I've only been inside the actual store a few times over the years but it's always been fine. A typical Freddys. No complaints. read more

9/10/24 So took my husband's wedding ring in to have cleaned/ repaired for their Lifetime warranty & my small diamond pinky ring missing a small diamond. Was told it would be done by 10/10 I never got a call so stopped in my husband ring was completed clean/ repaired my pinky ring was not ready said the repair guy was on vacation. So gave me another date for completion I wait go in again & assistant tried to give me a gold ugly bangle bracelet she then said it wasn't done yet come back on 10/18 To pick up & didn't have my glasses on so took the bag with ring inside got home & it WAS NOT repaired.OMG called talked to manager he said bring it back he'll put a rush on it waited another week finally got it back cleaned/ repaired. But I WILL NOT go back there for anything They are disorganized & don't know what the HE-- they are doing. Don't trust them with your possessions & their lifetime warranty is so crazzy I lost my initial cardboard warranty packet & I got a reprint stating I purchased but I was going to be charged for the repair anyway??? read more

Sad day for this location, often when roasts come on sale I buy the largest one and have half cut into steaks but not today, I asked the gentleman in the meat department if they had any large roasts in back and was told yes, perfect I said, then asked to have it cut, half a roast and the other half into 2" steaks the man behind the counter then informed that it would be the RibEye steak price because he was a skilled butcher and it costs more, you're joking I asked and he shook his head no... I told him that it was ridiculous and left the store to go to the Safeway up the road. Let me tell you the guy in Safeways meat department sold me what I asked for with no extra charges. read more

I always love fredmeyers. But today I'm disappointed. I came in today to do returns and was told can't return sale items that is indicated as a "woohoo. I got some skin products for gift and was told cannot return it. I look at the policy rule and it does state that unsatisfied item are allowed to be return. I told the lady that it wasn't used. So I just walk off after doing one item return that was only allowed. She actually thank me, but I wouldn't accept it, so I just walk away. I understand it store policy but what about customer services to your customers' value. read more

The layout makes sense, it's well -organized and well-stocked. Even during the holiday season, it wasn't get-me-outta-here-immediately busy. Every cashier I've had here is not only friendly, but they seem to enjoy where they work. Everybody seems to know what they're doing, which I sometimes take for granted. That being said, with all of their Blazers merchandise 25% off, I decided to allocate some of my Christmas money to stack up on team gear. I found a Rudy Fernandez jersey in my size, with preferred specifications, which was hard to find at a few other FM locations. This is exclusively for their pick up service. Awesome. My only bummer is that they didn't have a few items that I had on my list (one was probably the most important item on my list), but that's a pandemic for you. Staff was super courteous and quick, and explained substitutions clearly - I didn't even need to leave my car - they loaded it for me, kept a 6 foot distance (during COVID19). It was a lifesaver - I have an underlying condition and have been panicked about grocery shopping, so this service was so appreciated and they really did a great job. Thank you Fred Meyer! read more

Bought a TRENTA black ice tea at Starbucks inside the Cornelius fred meyer. First clue it wouldn't be good is they didn't even know what a black ice tea was. They were not exactly friendly here but I could overlook that but then they served me my tea that barely looked like colored water and tasted like sweetened water. I was so disgusted that they would hand that garbage to anyone, let alone a paying customer, that I threw it in the trash and walked off. Why say anything??? They knew they had served me an extremely inferior drink and didn't care. Usually Fred Meyer is not one of those stores that I get the feeling they are irritated helping you. Today, that is the feeling I got. Here I am spending Christmas money here at their store and I'm being treated as if I'm a bother to wait on. You know what was great about Cornelius Fred Meyer? The Nutrition Section, where I could easily find the organic and nice quality stuff. Same with the produce section. Weekly shopping duration: less than 1 hour. You know what is now bad about Cornelius Fred Meyer? There's NO nutrition section and NO organic produce section. The shit is spread throughout the store! You know how long it now takes me to shop? 2 hours! Do you think I'm happy that it now takes DOUBLE the time to shop? No frickin' way! Fred Meyer ought to listen up: I'm a customer that buys the premium organic stuff that's often double the price of conventional. I strongly suggest that they move all their organic produce and other organic stuffs into a section so I can cruise right through and get'r done. So, 15 minutes further out is New Season's market. They have everything I want and it's all handy. Fred Meyer, you're forcing me make this decision to shop there. It's only 15 minutes further out. The produce is always better than yours, too. You probably won't listen to this post as it's really Kroeger I'm talking to now. Well, this is one customer's strong opinion and I've been right along side similar customers at your store who were right in line there, making the same complaints. How about you fix this? While I have no life-altering grievance with this particular FM, I am however annoyed with FM in general for inventing an excuse to gather personal information in the form of their new Rewards card program. Many other stores are doing the same thing. Essentially making you accept this physical 'cookie' to receive their discount. Jewelry department. My husband bought me a heart pendant necklace a in white gold with diamonds and paid over $200. On the second wear, the chain broke. I paid $20 to have it repaired. The third time I wore it, tonight, apparently it broke again in a different location. I wore a loose scarf all day and when I got gone I took it off, I found the necklace chain broken around my neck. My pendant is GONE. My husband didn't buy their protection plan and FM won't do a thing. I'm so sad to lose this emotionally important pendant and I WISH I hadn't kept it on their cheap chain. Please take heed and consider your jewelry purchase at Fred Meyer. I'm so sad and my heart hurts. Don't buy their necklaces. If you must buy a pendant, buy it but don't get suckered in to their up sale of chains. Go to a known jewelry retailer for that purchase. I live not far and this store and it is definitely my neighborhood grocery store. It's really a shame how downhill the customer service has gotten. There used to be a manager standing right behind all of the cash registers so the lines wouldn't get too long. Now, the lines get too long and instead of more people working the registers, there's twice as many as self check out stalls as Safeway has so they don't have to interact with the customers. It will probably cut back on overhead and wages. It definitely shows that they're willing to sacrifice customer service and more attentive managing for the almighty buck. So sad. read more

Today reminded me of why I don't shop Fred Meyer more often. After picking up a prescription I was passing through the rest of the store when I saw a terrific buy on an item we use regularly. I picked my item and proceeded towards the check stands only to discover that one of the self service areas was closed off while the other was perhaps 10 customers deep waiting their turn. Of the manned checkout lanes only two were open and likewise backed up. I realize my small $9.00 item would be a drop in the Kroger bucket but it is a drop they did not get from me. I left my would-be purchase on one of the many unopened check out belts and walked away. Kroger, I must continue to do business with the pharmacy, my insurance company demands it, but I will not soon return to make any other type of purchase. I shop here all the time, and since the Wal-Mart down the road opened, many of the most annoying customers (loud, mean, welfare couples leading a herd of screaming bratty kids) have abandoned Freddy's and relocated to Wal-Mart. WOOHOO!!! Good riddance! Don't come back! Fred Meyer is still quite busy, but there's much more regular people there now and much fewer annoying trailer park people. As for the store itself, Fred Meyer has a better selection by far of clothes, even if they may cost a few cents more than Wal-Mart. The atmosphere is a whole lot better; it's an actual finished store, not a bare concrete floored, slightly creepy warehouse. I was a resident of this area way back before Fred Meyer was built, it used to be a drive-in movie theater. I worked here for almost 3 years in the late 80s and early 90s. But it's not rose-colored memories that makes me like this store. (It has changed so much since I worked here it's basically a new store.) They have very reasonable prices, great customer service, and now, a much improved atmosphere. I just wish they'd cut down those bushes behind the grocery parking lot. I can't see past them in my car, so I have to gamble there's no one coming when I pull out. read more

This Fred Meyers is laid out nicely and is generally clean and tidy, unlike many I've been to further north on Highway 99 or in Portland. The employees have always impressed me with how positive and helpful they appear. I've never had to wait in line here and they have a nice bank of self-service checkout spots. I enjoy the 4 Fred Meyers I visit here in the Yamhill/Washington county areas, however this store is my favorite. We have been customers since they opened and we will always visit this store for our major purchases. The staff always do right by their customers, thier selection is always large and fully stocked, and their prices are always well within the range they should be. You cannot beat their sales! As with all Fred Meyer stores you know the prices will be slightly higher then competitors but I always overlooked this because the staff was helpful and shelves stocked full. With that said in the last 6 months the store has left me feeling I need to spend my money somewhere else, I have had several disrespectful rude checkers and out of stock empty shelvers(not because of them remodeling). Today is the last time I will stepped foot into this location unless I have no choice and I will drive out of my way. I have a half for grocery cart and found half of the items I needed we're not in stock. I absolutely do not recommend this Fred Meyer to anyone. read more
