Actually, if you have any hair at all you should see Jessie, but I have curly hair, and I know how difficult it is to get a good haircut. I have had a million bad cuts, and finally just started cutting and coloring it myself - which did not look good. I walked into the 3rd Floor Salon on a whim, because the sign said, "Walk-ins Welcome" and I was desperate for a good cut and color for an important event. I am *so* glad I took the chance on Jessie! My curls are back and the color is gorgeous! Jessie is a natural. She understands hair and color. She spent a lot of time looking at my hair to determine how my curls fall, checking the color top and bottom, quizzing me on my preferences and how my hair behaves, etc. She mixed up the most gorgeous color that looks natural, shiny, and is exactly the right shade. She made the cut look easy, and quickly restored my curls. I left my appointment with Jessie feeling like a million dollars, and completely confident. The Salon is great too. My first impression of it was comfortable. The atmosphere is wonderful - welcoming, cosy, and clean - nothing pretentious or stark. If you are looking for a skilled stylist, have curly hair or colored hair, want to find a comfy salon/spa, or simply just want to experience your best haircut ever, then visit Jessie at The 3rd Floor Salon. Just let me get my appointment in first because I found her first!!

Jessie was amazing and great company. She trimmed my hair without chopping it all off (which somehow manages to happen??) and colored it nicely. Unfortunately, the salon itself is lacking in a lot of ways. First of all, she doesn't have a nail technician, the other employees or contractors are not friendly at all. In fact for the most part, they ignore you, at least they ignored me. There is definitely no team anything at this salon. Like I said to my friend, if Linda wasn't the reason I come here, there's nothing that would draw me to this place. The website is not professional looking, there is no one to answer a main line and give you answers to any of your questions or concerns. No wonder it didn't appear to be very busy.

Parking at this location is very easy because it's conveniently located in the new Reed's crossing shopping center which I find very easy to navigate. When I entered I was greeted promptly and able to check in for my service and select my color (bright orange) from the many available options. I love how the colors are organized, so neat and aesthetically pleasing. The salon itself is beautiful, thoughtfully designed and constructed. There are 8 pedicure stations on each side/end and I believe there are 16 manicure stations in the middle. The salon is bright white with shiny accents and lush greenery with plants displayed throughout. I got the divine pedicure which included a scrub, paraffin wax, hot stones, and a massage, and it was so relaxing. I was in and out within an hour which I greatly appreciated. I'll definitely be back! Note: Tips are only accepted via cash, Venmo or Zelle. Definitely something to be aware of prior to getting your service.

You can definitely tell they just opened because everything feels fresh, clean, and well designed. My son and I had a mother and son date, and it was his first time getting a pedicure. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel comfortable right away. The massage chairs were large and comfortable, although I wish the massage feature had been a little stronger. We both got the pedicure with the hot stone massage. I've had a lot of pedicures over the years, so this particular service did not quite meet my expectations. The massage felt more like they were rubbing my legs rather than providing an actual massage. Also, when I got home, the bottoms of my feet did not feel smooth at all. They felt rough and uneven, which is something I really dislike. Because of that, I can't give this place a full 5 stars. I also got a full set of acrylic nails, and my nail tech was amazing. She practically read my mind and even picked out the perfect color for me. My nails turned out beautiful. The only thing I noticed was that my cuticles were not cleaned up. I'm not sure if that's typical in Oregon or just part of their process, but I do wish a little more attention had been given to them. Overall, it was a good experience. The salon is beautiful, the staff is friendly, and my nails look great. There were a few areas that fell short of my expectations, but I would definitely give them another try.

There are stylists who say they work well with curly hair but Alan is the real deal. I also felt like he took in account my personality -- it's not a soccer mom cut, it's a bit off beat and sassy. Hubby thinks it's the best cut I've had too. I saw another client in her 20s with sleek, perfectly straight hair -- she looked amazing. It's not a fancy place with a lot of bells and whistles, it's a bit like walking into someone's home, small well-loved pup included. The receptionist and Alan were late to my first-thing-in-the morning appointment, so I got coffee and came back in 10 and all was well.
