This is an older version that still uses "handicap " for its customers with disabilities.

It's another example that businesses's don't understand why accessible parking setup is so important for people with disabilities. It's an easy fix and it's difficult to understand how the city has approved this layout. Van accessible has the walkway on the passenger side for the ramp to deploy and to have space to roll onto the lift or ramp.

RibEye Roast and streaks from Safeway!

Sad day for this location, often when roasts come on sale I buy the largest one and have half cut into steaks but not today, I asked the gentleman in the meat department if they had any large roasts in back and was told yes, perfect I said, then asked to have it cut, half a roast and the other half into 2" steaks the man behind the counter then informed that it would be the RibEye steak price because he was a skilled butcher and it costs more, you're joking I asked and he shook his head no... I told him that it was ridiculous and left the store to go to the Safeway up the road. Let me tell you the guy in Safeways meat department sold me what I asked for with no extra charges.

There is usually little or no wait here and it's convenient on Sundays when we do our Walmart run.

On May 1st for the second time, I brought to the attention of the Walmart in Cornelius Oregon that…read morethey were in violation of State Law by allowing non-service dogs into their location. I was treated rudely by the front-end manager, Amanda. She basically blew me off. I was also told sarcastically by another associate that "why don't I shop Winco or Safeway as they do not allow dogs." I will admit that I did become agitated. After I went home the local police showed up at my house to inform me that Walmart had trespassed me for one year. Apparently, they used information from cameras in the parking lot that allowed the police to identify me from the license plate on my car. I was not given any documentation that was told it was in their system. I contacted the Store Manager Jose the next day. I presented my side of the story and apologized for my portion of any problem. He said he would investigate it. He called me back later and told me that based on conversations with his team the trespass would stand. He claimed it was based on past incidents. I asked him to provide me with dates and times, but he would not. I suggested that he talk to other store personal who would speak extremely highly of my interactions with them. He refused. He also did not even apologize for how as a customer I was treated. He told me to call 1-800-Walmart as escalation would probably reverse the situation. On May 4th, I did that and filed complaint number 260504001867. I was told that it would take 3-5 business days and that I would be contacted. Since May 9th I have been following up daily and am being told each time that it has been escalated to the highest level of management. This is obviously scripted. I am now being told that I was contacted by the store manager and that the issue has been resolved and that I was notified by email of those facts. Neither has occurred. I have asked numerous times if there is anybody else, I can contact and am told no. I am told that they also have no other way of contacting other than filing a report. Walmart makes it entirely impossible to contact anyone. Even if you call the corporate number that is a result of an internet search a recording tells you to call 1-800-Walmart. I have contacted the police about the fact that the Cornelius Walmart is in violation of state law and have been told that it is something they don't deal with. Yesterday I attempted to contact the local store manager and after several attempts was told by Jill the Assistant Manager that he was in a meeting, and he would call me back later. He did not. I again attempted today to contact him and again was connected with Jill. She did ultimately transfer the call to Jose the Store Manager. I explained to him what I was told by customer service. I also reexplained the facts as I see them. He stated that they were still going to allow all dogs (even unleashed) into the store and that the one-year trespass would stand. I informed him that I guess I would need to contact the local news media and he hung up on me. I have asked both Winco on SW Oak in Hillsboro and the Walmart Neighborhood market on SW Murray Bl in Beaverton how they handle it when non-service dogs are brought into the store. They stated that they politely ask that the person take the dog outside. If the customer does not comply, they refer them to the posted poster from the Oregon Department of Agriculture which states only Service Animals are allowed and it even states that Comfort Animals are not.

I was looking at the 70% off Plants- But I had no idea, how much they were to begin with?? And I'm talking hundreds of plants- MAYBE, a cluster of 10 plants had price tags on them. Oh and did mention that when you went inside the store, you ran into the same issues? No tags, there was not anything on the shelves. Things were clearly marked percentages off- like "40% off" .... but there was no original pricing nor was there a price of the discounted rate either. it was very frustrating to even consider making a purchase. P.S. the store also doesn't have a scanning tool online, no app, no tool for you to be able to scan it and figure it out yourself. Secondly- NO ONE at the Check out stand. FR¿ No one greeting customers - not a single employee around. I Waited near the Chicks - for 20 minute. Awaiting an employee to aid me in purchasing some... not once, did anyone even walk by... ...although their undercover loss prevention duo were absolutely near by, I honestly thought they worked there. Both turning to me to say.."Oh we don't work here." Umm okay... then why are you not shopping for anything? no carts, just wandering the next aisle over, in the chicken area (poorly following me) and then your suddenly hard in the horse items?-- riiiiiiggght. You don't work here, suuuurrre. Mmmhmm. I again waited, another 10 min - just after an announcement came over the loud speaker to inform us that store was closing in 15 min. ... still nothing ? No employees, no one helping, no one cleaning, it was odd. I fina said - I'm out. and put back the items I had picked out already, and walkned out the door. I've lived out here for Twenty Years - I am not impresse in the slightest. Please - SOS - to the Cornelius location Costal!

Historically, the staff here were professional, courteous, and genuinely customer-focused, which is why I returned again to store my new RV. Unfortunately, this latest transaction was very different. While I understand and accept new policies around proof of insurance and ownership, the issue was not the requirements themselves--it was how they were communicated. A phone conversation with the current facility manager escalated unnecessarily and became confrontational and dismissive. I was repeatedly interrupted, spoken to aggressively, and made to feel as though my integrity and long-standing relationship with the facility were being questioned. That interaction was so inconsistent with my prior experiences here that it was genuinely disappointing. Customer service is as much about listening and tone as it is about enforcing policy, and that piece was clearly missing. I am sharing this feedback in the hope that ownership and leadership will take it seriously. This facility has historically been excellent, and with the right focus on professionalism and customer respect, it could be again. Update (January 2026): Following this review, I was contacted by the regional manager, and I later received a personal letter of apology from the President of West Coast Self-Storage, the company that owns this facility. He acknowledged the issues I raised, confirmed that their computer system had changed (which explained the missing rental history), and assured me that corrective steps are being taken to improve both recordkeeping and customer communication going forward. I appreciate that leadership took the time to listen and respond. While I ultimately moved to another storage facility that better fits my needs, I respect the way West Coast Self-Storage handled this at the corporate level and hope this location returns to the high standards it once reflected.

FUTURE PATRONS... BEWARE!! This business will lure you in…read morewith a clean facility and introductory offers that make you think, "Wow, what a great place for a great price!" However, hopefully you won't meet the manager (who we experienced end of May & June 2025), because his lack of customer service will make you pause, but the cleanliness and (bait and switch) price will make you not listen to your instincts. Before I briefly tell you what we have experienced, I must first preface it with the following information, to help you see the wrongness in what we have experienced - my husband and I are in our mid-60's and late 50's; hubby has worked at the same big high tech company for 38 years; both of our credit scores are in the 800's; upon moving our RV to this new facility, we unfortunately experienced 2 deaths in our immediate family as well as being blessed with new grandchildren, leading us to not be able to do anything with our RV since then. It has literally sat there. We also pay with auto pay, so there is never a late payment. So when the following happened, on top of the rudeness of the manager, we were left shaking our heads and highly disappointed!! I have email proof of the following... On Nov. 17, 2025 at 12:21am, I received an email stating, and I quote, "We did not receive proof of insurance by December 01, 2025... we have enrolled you in the third-party Tenant Property Insurance Program." Yes, you read that correctly. Now mind you, we had just experienced the first death of which we have been mentally and financially helping support the surviving relative, and were just a couple weeks away from the birth of our grandson. We have been with Geico for decades and it auto renews every 6 months without fail, and when it renewed, the first day of renewal was a Monday, of which my husband drove down and personally showed/gave them proof to make sure they got it, since our lives had been crazy. Then the end of January, the same day our family member's 24 day old baby died (and had been ill), I received an email from this company, stating, "We are contacting you to communicate an adjustment in the monthy rental rate... your new monthly storage rent will be $249.00." Up from $169.68/mo. A NEARLY 50% PRICE INCREASE!! This is either a retaliatory action from my response to their first wrongful email (that the worst thing I said was WTH in response to their bad & wrong practices and explaining why we didn't show proof of insurance early) or because they want insurance early and not the day of... or, it's PREDATORY PRICING! Or both!! Either way, if you're considering storing at this business, I would think twice. When researching this business AFTER these experiences, I noticed on Yelp there is only one review since 2023, it was on the last day of 2025, and it matches mine. And on Google a majority of the newer reviews (you need to change the order of reviews to the most recent, or newest) are at 2 months and 8 months - when they attract newly signed up customers at 6 month rotations of introductory bait and switch offers, to write a review. But you'll notice the reviews are short and don't say much because they haven't really experienced this business yet. If we had written a review right when we started storing here, it too would have been at the 8 month mark. Buyer beware!

The nested mise en place bowls, available here in both small and large sizes, are used in my kitchens every day. The $1 greeting cards have saved my buns a couple of times, and now that I think of it, my budget as well.
