    Their sourdough pepperoni pizza
    Jennifer K.

Got a couple of things to try, their pepperoni pizza, plain smash burger, baja smash burger and the habanero popper smash burger. I love how their pizza has a chewy texture to their ends and it stays that way even after the next day refrigerated. Their plain smash burger comes to a close second after third window. Their baja one was really good too. The habanero popper was my least favorite because it was too sweet for what the title says...has no habanero flavor or heat to it whatsoever. The food came out fast and hot! Definitely coming back for their burgers and pizza!

Stopped by Santa Barbara Biergarten and had a great smash burger, a beet arugula salad, and of course, some great beer! Everything was delicious, and it was the perfect spot to enjoy a casual meal with a fun atmosphere and a solid selection of brews.

I just wanted to grab some food for takeout to eat on the train ride home, so I can't speak much to seating experience here. The outdoor area definitely is vibey at night though. I got a pretzel and the beet and arugula salad to go. Service was relatively quick. I got my food in like 15 minutes or less. It was packaged with care and I was given utensils and napkins in a big bag. I love that they have a bunch of different mustards, which are great for the pretzels or bratwurst. I grabbed a couple of spicy ones and one made with wine I think. Yum. Pretzel was delicious. I liked the cheesy sauce it came with. But honestly the beet salad was incredible. Like who would have thought a Biergarten would have a killer salad. I would go back just for that salad. Props to their chef. I will definitely be back to try more food items next time I'm in SB!

What a great find. Went on a morning/ midday walk with a very close friend. Service was very great. The outdoor and indoor patios were both very welcoming with plenty of sun and shade. "burger of the week" Pesto and mozzarella cheese with arugula ! fire !

Fire pretzel.Got the cinnamon version. Ambience is great and this place sure attracts a big crowd. I have yet to try other items from the menu or some of the drinks.

Tried the cactus cooler mead. It was yummy. Lots of fire pits to keep you warm as well.

Every single time I've been here, it has always been great. The crowds seems to be all the local Santa Barbara college kids. They're open late and the beer keeps pouring. Parking can be tricky as it's street parking but there's a small lot in the back that offers valet parking. We always forget about it. Bar/restaurant itself has both indoor and outdoor seating. Honestly feel like the outdoor gets used more. For the chilly nights, they do have loads of heat lamps and fire pits placed through-out the patio area. Food is also served. You order at the register which a number is given to you and place it on your table. Seat yourself. Food can also be ordered at the bar area where you order drinks. This visit, it happened to be October. So obviously Oktoberfest was happening. All the staff were dressed up in the lederhosen and dirndl. The vibe was amazing. Just made feel like you're part of the celebrations. Drinks were constantly rolling as it was non stop. A few size options for beer to choose from. They do have an amazing selections of beer on draft as well as wine. You order your drinks at the counter and wait for your name to be called. Everyone was alway so friendly. Younger crowd but they're all there to have the same fun as everyone else. And you can't have Oktoberfest without the jumbo pretzels. It comes with a cheese sauce but there's loads of mustard to choose from inside. Service has always been amazing everytime we been. It's also pet friendly so the fur babies can enjoy the fun too. Plus live bands. The past few times they've always had one. It could also be certain days but it's alway been fun. It does get busy so finding a table can be a hassle as it's first come first serve and open seating. There's a lot of communal tables so mingle and make new friends.

I've come to Biergarten several times it's is without fail a fantastic place to come to. The drinks, the ambiance, the food. Everything is always top notch here it's an incredibly yummy place to come to I usually get the smarty and cherry blossom seltzer. Can't beat that combo for me. Highly highly recommend

    Burger week!
    Emmy C.

Came here for the burger week and they did not disappoint! This time they also had all their beers in stock so we went with a sampler. Their burger was delicious! The pesto sauce with the mozzarella, tomatoes and arugula gives it an Italian flavor. I do like how the mozzarella was not melted, so it reminded me of the caprese salad. It does come with fries... and a dipping sauce bar. I do like how they had a variety of sauces, but ended up settling with the jalapeno mustard, spicy brown mustard, and Dijon wine mustard. The pickles that come with the burger is a crowd pleaser, being a mix of little bit of sweetness with vinegary. This is something different than a traditional burger so I highly recommend trying it during the burger week!

Visited my old stomping grounds this weekend (go Gauchos) and had to make a stop at Biergarten for some bites and brews. The poutine slapped as per usual and the fig and goat cheese pizza was a sweet surprise! Loved it. This place has only gotten more popular over the years (for good reason) so it took some time to find a seat, but the vibes were immaculate. Young people and dogs af at this establishment. And they were playing Young Sheldon on the Tv. Love

We were greeted upon entrance and helped right away. The service was great. And the food was delicious. What's really cool is you can choose outdoor seating or indoor seating. Whatever your preference is, it's nice and comfortable.

Great service, great pizza, and a chill atmosphere. Riley and Nolan were very nice and personable. I ordered the veggie pizza vegan style. It was tasty. My kids had cheese pizza and they gave it 5 out 5 stars. My husband had the smash burger and said it was delicious. They offer free valet service which is a plus when you don't want to have to look for parking.

When it came time to order, we purposely decided not to look at what we had last time because we wanted to try something new. Well... turns out we ordered the exact same things! And honestly, I can't blame us. Once again, both the salad and the pizza were absolutely amazing and just as good as we remembered. While this pizza by no means needs ranch, the owner was kind enough to give us some of their house-made ranch to try. All I can say is... wow! The pizza is fantastic on its own, but that house ranch was seriously impressive and made for one heck of a bonus. It's always a great sign when you return somewhere and the experience lives up to the memory and this place definitely delivered again. Thanks again for another memorable experience. I would've liked more char on the crust, but no complaints otherwise. Definitely want to order from them again and try the Hawaiian and other pies.

I love the thin crusts of their pizzas because it doesn't leave you feeling too heavy even if you ate the whole pizza (aka, no food coma crash despite the carbs). Tried the Caserta Pizza (5/5) It's made with double flor di latte sauce base that gives it creaminess. Then topped with Italian sausage, garlic pecorino, basil, smoked provolone cheese, and Calabrian chili. The sausage was savory, and the cheese was melty and of good quality. You can taste the mild spice from the chili flakes and the herbal-ness from the basil. Add-on some of their housemade chili oil sauce for an additional spice kick. The ambiance was chill and I loved how it looked. The ocean down the street and everyone just enjoying themselves. Customer Service ? Left MUCH, MUCH to be desired and honestly, probably will keep me from coming back again. When we were ordering, I had asked the person at register "Hi how are you going today?!" Just got responded with "good. What can I get you?" Blunt. Unwelcoming. And kinda rude. I just said ok and moved on. It was our first time there so I asked her for recommendations and she just said "everything is good" Between her responses, she kept talking and laughing with her coworkers. Not a big deal, but you can just tell when someone isn't interested in having any sort of conversation. Also due to the fact that she had her back completely towards us in the middle of our transactions multiple times. She inspected my printed receipt at the end and looked bugged when she realized we didn't tip due to her poor service. Couldn't help but notice a different type of customer service being offered to other customers. It seemed obvious. Probably won't be coming back because of service, might just do pick up because of the food! Definitely would much rather recommend St. Bibiana's pizza on Ortega! Amazing pizza, great vibe and much better service.
