He said, "what kind of bike do you want?" and mentioned a few different types. He made no effort to find out what type of bike would suit my son's needs. He was curt, distracted, and seemed more interested in helping the kids and families who were coming in for repairs than making a sale. To me, if someone comes in to my business and says they want to spend hundreds of dollars, I wouldn't brush them off so quickly. I'd make sure they'd want to return. Customers are the reason for your business, not an interruption of it. He could learn a lot from his competitior across town.

Sales staff are knowledgeable and ask all the right questions to establish what you want. No high pressure or "you need this..." kind of approach. Service is spot on. Had difficulty shifting to the top cogs on the rear cassette and their mechanic Chris was very thorough. He checked the chain length, the cassette teeth and the shifter itself and the stop screws. The template pieces were all laid out, but that was it. Co-founder Luke had me read and sign all the releases first, and asked about my experience with welding etc. Being a Veteran myself, Luke as well, and the non-profit supporting Veterans and First Responders, he also made sure to ask me if loud noises or anything would bother me. Every step was explained and demonstrated before I was able to do it, and as nervous as I was at first, it quickly went away knowing he took my safety, the safety of others as well as their shop very seriously. Co-founder Ben also provided some muscle when I was unable to bend the metal myself. In just over 2 hours I had sanded, measured, re-measured, bent , hammered and welded together a really cool one of a kind 5-sided barn star. It was definitely something different to do and it was a really cool and fun experience. 5 stars !

He is quick with email responses, but sometimes I felt that I did not get as much information on the products as I should have. I had to send him additional emails to get more basic information. Apparently, we customers can get a discount on the products if we pay by checks. That's a good thing. However, the dollar amount listed on order confirmations do not match the ones that I write on the checks. That's the one thing that really bugs me.... I did bring that to his attention, but he never really gave me an explanation. I guess it's a company policy? Why didn't he list the same amount that's written on the checks when he already got those checks? I don't get it....

I live in Franklin and support local businesses whenever I can. I would rather spend a few more dollars at a specialty shop than buy a lesser quality bike at a big box. I have purchased 2 Haro mountain bikes from Bicycles Plus, one for my son and one for myself. I intend to purchase a 3rd there for my daughter very soon. The advantage to buying from a specialty store is that they have bikes in the various frame sizes and not just generically sized buy tire size. Yes you could order one online but most likely you can't actually sit on the same model in various frame sizes at a big box store to see how you actually fit on a particular bike. When I purchased my bike 2 years ago I explained the type of riding I had planned on doing Based on that it was suggested that I purchase a less expensive bike for myself than what I had intended to buy. I thought I needed a hybrid style but it was suggested that maybe I could go with a less expensive mountain bike hard tail style with 29" wheels for better riding when on paved trails with a smaller frame size since I am only 5'-4". They had some last season models that were marked down considerably less than if I had just went with a hybrid style bike. The sales team will not just sell you the most expensive bike to make a profit, they want to sell you a bike that fits your needs. Most recently I brought in my sons 4 year old bike in that was not shifting properly. I said I think it should probably have an entire tune up to address the shifting problem since it had never been tuned. I was told that the bike was in really good condition and I didn't really need to spend $130 dollar to go over the entire bike. The shifting issue was fixed for $30 and it was done by the next day which I had not expected such a quick turn around. read more

Don't get me wrong this place has a lot of accessories and parts selection, but you cant even shop in peace. They treat you as if you are a criminal no matter what. Every time you go downstairs there is someone lurking over your back watching your every little move like you are going to pick up a bike(which is all that is down there) and walk right out with it(which is back upstairs). Anytime you are shopping the owner and the employees treat you like you know nothing and again assume that whatever you are looking at, you are trying to steal. read more

I called Sirois bike shop and they had one in stock, same quality, stainless steel, tandem length for $10, so I headed over there. Derek Jackson is a…read morethief and steals bike parts and even had a whole junk pile of them in the garage he probably got from stealing bikes. I brought Derek my brand new Heybike ranger s 1000w ebike to switch out a faulty caliper with a new one I got him. I got the bike back with hydraulic fluid all over the bike,velcro case missing and wires hanging every where and multiple parts missing from the bike. I got the velcro case back to cover up wires but other parts he said he lost them after first saying i didn't bring them which was a lie and i even have pictures of the new bike before I brought it to him. In the pictures below you can see the handle grip plug i originally had on the bike and he replaced it with one of his old beat up crappie ones I took a Pic of with my fingers holding it. I didn't post all the pictures of before and after he had the bike but I have them. The Guy is not honest and a thief working out of his mommy and daddy's garage in Easton, Massachusetts. Derek works for D.O.T. I didn't even realize parts missing off the handlebar until spring because when I got the bike back from him last December and I just put it away for the winter. Check the pictures below, two of them are my original text/post.My bike was new and under warranty but he kept pushing to want to replace things that didn't need replacing and he said the bike had cheap breakable parts on it,yeah, thats why he stoaled them and broke my speed controller to make it look like the bike came that way. The Guy told me it was a nice bike but when I got home and called him,it went from a nice bike to not a nice bike and I should return it. The Guy is a slime bag and obviously saw me as a push over. He took advantage of an elderly 60+ disabled guy and obviously takes advantage of his parents living there while in his 30s. I hope this post helps someone in making the right choice not to go to him. I should of went to a legit business. I learned the hard way that I would have been better off going to a real repair place because now I have a bike with multiple missing parts that are hard to replace and costly,especially the lcd screen that has the speed controller attached and bracket. Stay away from this guy unless you want to get screwed over,unless you want to buy one of his stolen bike parts bike. The Guy doesn't even deserve the one star. Fake mofo
