Anyway I was out and about and got to NBX right at opening time, they had a Bontrager Tandem derailleur cable in stock for $29.95. i asked the sales person to double check the pricing and she said that they told her that since it is longer than a standard derailleur cable it was a lot more expensive. I called Sirois bike shop and they had one in stock, same quality, stainless steel, tandem length for $10, so I headed over there. Seems like a good shop, I was surprised to see so many new bikes for sale and the sales guy told me they had stocked up after the Covid started so it would probably be a good place to go to get a bike right now.

I wasn't ready to move on from it yet.. It's like a brand new bike! I did not purchase my bike from them, it was a gift from a family member years ago, but you could tell Doug new what issues it may have had just from seeing it first thing. They got be back riding very quick and under a week. Process for booking an appointment was safe and easy. I think prices are very reasonable considering all the labor that must be involved. I appreciate it you guys! I will definitely be coming here for all my bike needs now.

It is withing a mile of my house. We went in on a Wednesday around noon. There were two guys working and both greeted us and one really jumped in to get moving with our needs. He took her bike, popped it up on the bike jack (not sure if that is an official term) and got to work. He gave us a few tips to continue to care for her bikeas well. We were in and out of the store withing 20 minutes and spent $21 on a tire repair. My daughter was thrilled to have her wheels back and I was thrilled it was quick and reasonable!
