Review is a bit overdue, we have eaten at Biba two times so far and the food has been exceptional. Not only that but the service is amazing too. The food is fresh and loaded with flavors. The menu changes but that keeps things interesting. The chicken parm was excellent, probably some of the best I've ever had. The halibut tacos were awesome. The chicken bowl was really good. The scallops were so good too, I've been to a lot of great sea food restaurants and they don't come close to these. I could go on and on about the food I ate. The deserts are always top notch, homemade, amazing, incredible! The atmosphere is cozy, with candles, and soft lighting. Great place to take a date for sure! This is a top 10 restaurant for me personally.

We've been here for probably 8 anniversary dinners. It never is less than amazing! The food is cooked with pride and great care. The service is perfect! Soft jazz playing in the background in the window seat made for a beautiful evening!

This was my first visit to Biba and I'm not very proud of it. This is a gem of a spot. The owner, Jason, is one in a million and his food is just as great as he is. Service was on point and every single thing we got was amazing. I could eat the provaletta all day! Will be back sooner than later!

In addition to the amazing food, the cozy, intimate atmosphere makes for the perfect evening in Beaver! I highly recommend the Crispy Brussels Sprouts as an appetizers as they were DELICIOUS. The Pork Milanese entree was also to die for; the cheesy garlic mash was my favorite! We spoke to the chef afterwards, and he did say that he operates a rotating menu, which I always love. P.S. It is BYOB.

I have ti say this place surprised me! They have some fantastic dishes on their menu. Their guacamole was probably one of the best I've had in a while. The whipped ricotta had such great flavors and I could eat it all day! The flank steak was cooked perfect and the chimichurri was the perfect addition. I can't wait to go back and try more!

Why haven't I tried this place sooner? I had the most delicious meal at Biba tonight! The scallops were cooked perfectly. We also had crispy Brussels sprouts and amazing focaccia bread! Chef rotates menu each season and it's BYOB. Definitely coming back!

WOW! WOW! WOW!! We were blown away by Biba flavor profiles, perfectly cooked entree's, fantastic service, and amazing atmosphere. We ordered two small plates and a main entree to share and then one of their amazing house made desserts. Nothing was less than 5-star quality! We started with the skillet fries, which were so tasty and unlike anything I've ever had! Next we shared the perfectly cooked Scallops paired with fresh summer charred corn, arugula, and this perfectly spicy Smokey sauce that I could have poured on just about anything! Next, we finished with the Halibut which was crispy outside and moist inside atop two tasty different sauces and wonderfully charred zucchini. We finished with the peach tres leches cake which was out of this world! I CANNOT RECOMMEND Biba enough!! Couple tips: the restaurant is small and closed Sunday/Monday so reservations are recommended. It is BYOB so if you'd like to enjoy a glass of wine or beer with your meal you'll need to bring it along. They charge a small corking fee with your meal. Lastly, this isn't a quick in and out type of place, it's an experience. So plan accordingly. We spent two hours there between our three courses and dessert. Bon Appetite!!

Absolutely delicious. We've been out here before, but never had the pleasure of dining here. Pictured are the Crispy Brussel Sprouts, Flank Steak, and amazing Pork Milanese that melted in your mouth. Dessert is take home flourless chocolate cake balls with fondant chocolate and chocolate whipped cream, which I can't wait to try. Top notch flavors. Highly recommend.

AMAZING experience & food. This was our first time at Biba and definitely not our last. We were in the mood for something different so decided to try out Biba (about a 20 min drive from us). Awesome service and awesome food! Our waitress actually recommended the zucchini entree as an appetizer and it did not disappoint. It was delicious and the sauce and pickled jalapeños were to die for. My husband ordered the Cuban sandwich which was extremely authentic and had very well balanced flavors - I stole a few bites of the fries (of course) and they were awesome and perfectly crispy. I ordered the fresh catch, which was swordfish on this particular evening. It was cooked perfectly and accompanied well. My only recommendation would be to add some sort of small starch to the dish (but instead, I just stole some of my husbands fries!) First restaurant we've been to in a while where we didn't need to ask for salt/pepper - huge compliments to the chef! And BYOB (which is a big perk in my mind). We will definitely be back often!

Biba is a breath of fresh air in Beaver County dining. Where to start.. maybe with one of my favorite restaurant qualities: it's BYOB. Great place to meet up with friends and bring a few bottles to enjoy with dinner. The food is excellent. We've never had anything we didn't like and we try to get something different each time we go. For appetizers, highly recommend the skillet fries. They are to die for. This visit we tried a few apps. We had the brussel sprouts, brisket Mac and plum adobo short ribs. Everything was delicious and bursting with flavor. We were kinda full by then but enjoyed the Cuban, which hit it out of the park. Get dine in or takeout here. You won't be disappointed. Also they are following covid precautions, wearing masks, sanitizer out, distancing tables, decreased capacity. So you can definitely feel safe to make a reservation and treat yourself!

The Lomo Saltado is filet mignon paired with peppers, onions, and rice. The combination was perfect with juicy, perfectly cooked beef and flavorful veggies. Their churros may be the best in western Pennsylvania so save some room for them. Very reasonably priced and easily shared by four. The whole restaurant has an aura of fine dining while remaining easily affordable. Our server offered a verbal description of what we could expect from each entree and all four of us were more than pleased with the results. If you're looking for a place to have exceptional food in a beautiful room with great food served by a professional staff then seek out Torogoz at the end of the courtyard on Locust Place, just a very short walk from Sewickley's center.

It's also amazing there's finally an amazing Pan Latin restaurant in Pittsburgh where you can try dishes from all over Latin America from a well traveled chef from El Salvador. Since we saw they had churros, we opted to skip the appetizers (even though they sounded really good) and have cocktails, entrees and churros. We were so glad that we did. I enjoyed my pisco sour from Peru. We loved my husband's raspberry mojito (Besito de mora). My skirt steak with homemade chimchurri was like butter. So tender and delicious! It made me happy reminiscing about my time in Argentina when I studied abroad there. My husband enjoyed his lomo saltado (filet mignon with stewed tomatoes, rice and delicious fries). The churros were so crunchy and cinnamony with dulce de leche (caramel) inside. The food was phenomenal and so was the service. We'll definitely be back to try other entrees, the appetizers and ceviche.

When I saw Flavor of Puerto Rico was offering a $6 discount on an online ordering app, I was definitely interested. Tonight, I ordered the baked chicken sandwich, sweet plantains (maduros), a beef and cheese empanada, as well as a slice of tres leches. It was a lovely meal at a great price. The sandwich was simple, but very good. Their chicken is roasted perfectly, and incredibly tender. They give you a pretty good portion for the price, too. Pan de agua, or water bread, is homemade and soaks up the chicken juices. It's great! There's also a bit of cheese in this sandwich, which was a nice touch. This was my first time trying maduros, so I wasn't too sure what to expect other than a sweet flavor. These were definitely sweet, and they are generous with their side portions. Maduros are caramelized on the outside and quite soft on the inside. I'm not the biggest fan of maduros now that I know their flavor, but these were clearly expertly made and still worth trying. The empanadas (or pastellitos) are an absolute must try when you visit this place. I got the beef and cheese, which was sooo good! The ground beef is juicy and flavorful, while the crust is light and crunchy. I didn't find any cheese in this empanada, though. I was a fan of their tres leches. It was very well soaked and creamy. It's topped with a nice coating and a dusting of cinnamon (the cinnamon flavor is not very prominent). The dessert is not too heavy, either. I do wish the portion was a little bigger. All in all, this is a hidden gem in Mount Oliver. There are only a few Puerto Rican places in Pittsburgh, and this surely excellent food which seems quite authentic! Now they have a more consistent menu, too, instead of just daily specials. Definitely worth a try for anyone who's curious about Puerto Rican cuisine.
