The baleada was great. Eggs, black beans, avocado, and chorizo. It was excellent. Best chorizo I've had since I've been back in Ohio. My only complaint was there was no salsa verde to compliment this nice dish. Not sure how to describe it. It's not a quesadilla and it's not quite fry bread. It's a baleada. I've only had it in Louisville Ky at La Quintana and here. Will order them wherever I encounter them. Had a sope with Pastor. Also very good. I definitely will try this place again. Lots of good looking Honduran offerings.

I had their fried chicken topped with cabbage, picked onion, special sauces and a side of fried green banana. Very tasty and very filling. Nothing like anything I have had before. The pineapple in water was very refreshing.

This place was soooo good!! Moving to Ohio I wasn't sure I'd ever find authentic Mexican food again but Latinos did not disappoint!! Looking forward to the next time we're here

Great food, great service, great baleadas. I really enjoyed the food and our waiter was very attentive. I'd definitely recommend.

My wife and I stopped for lunch on a very cold week day in Feb. We were warmly greeted by one of the owners and ordered an appetizer and lunch entrees (see pictures). Food was good and our host brought us a couple of extra items from the menu to try. We went because we have been unhappy with the Mexican restaurants that we used to frequent regularly. We have been trying out some of the new ones in the area. This is owned by a couple from Nicaragua (him) and Honduras (her), and the food represents their native countries. It is not your typical Mexican fare, but similar and very good. We will be back.

Taqueria La Loma - Burrito Fresa al pastor.,.. this was a delicious dish!

This time I was inspired to look for a Mexican ceviche. In my most recent adventure, I visited Taqueria La Loma in Akron and very much enjoyed my meal. After ordering from the counter, I sat down and was quickly given some fresh chips and salsa to snack on. Although these were delicious, I probably should have passed on this because what I ordered was much more that I could eat alone. I was impressed by the flavor and value of the Mixed (shrimp and octopus) Ceviche, and would absolutely suggest it to anyone. I'd never had octopus ceviche before, and was concerned about chewiness, but was pleasantly surprised at how tender it was. I assume the shrimp ceviche is similarly good. I also ordered 3 birria tacos. I found there was maybe slightly too much cheese in the taco, but the tasty consomé dip was impressive. To wash it all down, I had one of the best horchata drinks I've ever had in my life. It was sooo good and a must-have. The staff was attentive and helpful, and the food came out quickly. The restaurant was basic, but clean, and looks like the kind of authentic place you'd want to go for a casual but tasty Mexican food meal. I will be recommending this place to my co-workers in the Akron office, and will go back again next time I'm in town.

Our server who I think was named Marey (?) was amazing and so sweet. Next, the food! We ordered a LOT of food, and it was all great! Chimichangas, two beef cheek and two shrimp tacos, all the hot salsas, chips, horchata and margarita. All really flavorful and again...came out hot and fast! People in the restaurant all seemed to be happy and enjoying the vibes. We will definitely return ASAP.

The Lomo Saltado is filet mignon paired with peppers, onions, and rice. The combination was perfect with juicy, perfectly cooked beef and flavorful veggies. Their churros may be the best in western Pennsylvania so save some room for them. Very reasonably priced and easily shared by four. The whole restaurant has an aura of fine dining while remaining easily affordable. Our server offered a verbal description of what we could expect from each entree and all four of us were more than pleased with the results. If you're looking for a place to have exceptional food in a beautiful room with great food served by a professional staff then seek out Torogoz at the end of the courtyard on Locust Place, just a very short walk from Sewickley's center.

It's also amazing there's finally an amazing Pan Latin restaurant in Pittsburgh where you can try dishes from all over Latin America from a well traveled chef from El Salvador. Since we saw they had churros, we opted to skip the appetizers (even though they sounded really good) and have cocktails, entrees and churros. We were so glad that we did. I enjoyed my pisco sour from Peru. We loved my husband's raspberry mojito (Besito de mora). My skirt steak with homemade chimchurri was like butter. So tender and delicious! It made me happy reminiscing about my time in Argentina when I studied abroad there. My husband enjoyed his lomo saltado (filet mignon with stewed tomatoes, rice and delicious fries). The churros were so crunchy and cinnamony with dulce de leche (caramel) inside. The food was phenomenal and so was the service. We'll definitely be back to try other entrees, the appetizers and ceviche.

Their menu changes seasonally, and it currently lists food such as fries, Cuban sandwich, chicken-tortilla soup, tagliatelle, flat-iron steak, and Hokkaido scallops. I met a friend here for one dinner. The setting was more on the casual side rather than fine dining. (I wore jeans and a blouse.) I have eaten authentic foods in South America, Central America, and the Caribbean, and I thought that the menu was slightly influenced by these regions. The waitress and waiter spoke nicely with us. Our dinner that included a BYO wine (with a $5 charge per person), appetizer, entree, and dessert lasted 1 hour and 45 minutes. The foods had strong flavors, and we both enjoyed everything that we ate. For appetizers, my friend and I shared the Crispy Brussels Sprouts, which also contained carrots, pecans, and a dressing, and the Hot Low Country Crab Dip, which contained a good amount of crab meat and was served with crunchy toast. For entrees, I ate the Cutler-cove Salmon, which was accompanied with asparagus, potatoes, and a spicy jerk sauce and habanero purée, and my friend ate the Arugula Salad, which contained fresh arugula, baby carrots, goat cheese, olives, and hot honey. For dessert, I ate the Kentucky Bourbon Cheesecake, which was topped with pecans, caramel, and whipped cream, and my friend ate the Maple Panna Cotta with raspberries.
