    Appetizer platter.

Really great experience. We were in the area and this popped up so I figured we would try it. I have loads of Puerto Ricans in my family and have had spent my life eating Puerto Rican food. Everything was very well made with plenty of flavor. We had the sampler appetizer platter which, for $25, was a big plate of food. Ithad Yucca balls, Yucca fries, Tostones, Fried cheese, fried pork chunks, etc. Really well done and with some delicious dipping sauces. I had the shrimp Mofongo, which was excellent. It had a garlic cream sauce that was extremely tasty. The Mofongo itself was perfectly seasoned and prepared. My wife had the chicken and rice bowl which she enjoyed. For dessert we got the guava egg roll and a flan. Everything was wonderful and we will definitely be back.

Everything we ordered was excellent. Started with a drink. The Frontera was nice and strong. I had the beef mofongo and it came with a little salad on the side. The taste of the mofongo was delicious, it's my favorite of northeast ohio so far, and I've had a lit of it all over. The meat was good, a tiny bit dry, but still tasty. I also had a shrimp empanada. That was excellent too. It had a tasty pastry and full if shrimp. Finished the meal with a tres Leche cake. It's delicious too, and I especially loved all the cinnamon in it. It's a nice smaller size than standard and was great amount for after filling up on entrées. The waitress was fantastic. Before we even asked anything she brought out a little sample for us to try the meat. We had told them it's our first time and weren't sure if it was just carryout or if the dining room was open. It's a small dining room but it's cute with fake plants everywhere. They also have a lit of tvs on the wall. Only bad thing is the restrooms are not handicap friendly. They are very tiny and the chair won't fit. Plus no grab bars either. A nice feature is a small patio out front and they allow well behaved dogs there.

One of the newer places in Broadview heights and I was so excited to try it! The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly the moment I walked through the door. I ordered the following: - Mofongo with pork $16.99 - Side of plantain $3.99 The pork was very moist and flavorful, while the mofongo was delish. The sweet plantain was just as I imagined it to be! I can't wait to come back and try all their other dishes!

My bowl and the ordering area. The owner is serving. Love this little hidden gem!

Fresh fresh fresh!! This place has quick and delicious bowls, salads and mofungo. I am absolutely going back! The bowls are around $12-15 and they're big. You get rice, protein. (We tasted a variety of the proteins and they were all soooo good!) salad and extras on the salad. They also have plantains and yucca with pickled onions. The owner is the one who served and seriously, you couldn't find a nicer, more friendly guy! He and his wife own it. He even brought my dog a dog dish of fresh water. The inside is so cute! It's very bright and happy. We ate on the little patio (dogs allowed). I'm definitely looking forward to visiting during the winter so I feel like I'm getting some sunshine. Stop here for lunch, you won't regret it!

This is truly a hidden gem! It's in a strip mall but has a patio out front and is very cute inside. The Monfongo is DELICIOUS! It was my 1st time trying it, and it exceeded my expectations. I got the trifongo with Dominican chicken - sooooo good! (Note: There's an upcharge for this instead of regular mofongo.) Absolutely try the egg rolls - they are filled with sweet plantains and cream cheese - unique and addictive. Really fantastic service with a nice atmosphere (music was LOUD when we got there, but they turned it down when we asked) and excellent food!

We loved trying this food! The lady serving us was very helpful in helping us decide what to order. We got the Cajun rice, the Puerto Rican chicken, we tried the plantains, and then we were able to decide what we wanted on our salad. We liked the cilantro dressing better than the garlic, but both were good. You order at the counter like a chipotle. But they have a nice room to sit in and eat. Everything was delicious! We loved the flavor of the chicken. They were the best plantains I've ever had. The flan was good, too.

You order your food from the counter similar tp chipotle. Waitress really friendly and had us sample the different meats. Got the buttermilk chicken and dominican chicken. Both were excellent, fresh, and tasty with the salad, rice and beans. Tried the hispanic egg roll with plantain and cheese, also fresh and really tasty. You need to try this place. Its clean with the tropical vibe. Price was also very reasonable for the quality and portions. Ill be back again real soon.

We had drinks and appetizers that were delicious. Authentic Caribbean food was tasty and reminded me of food we had in the islands.

It has a nice outer crunch and is well seasoned but not overwhelming with it. You can see the cracked pepper on the skin. It's juicy and cooked well. I do prefer a more cruncher skin however, but this is preference. Chicken alone is a 9/10. This may be controversial but Cole slaw is FIRE to me lol. I consider myself a slaw connoisseur. I enjoy it with numerous meals and meats. The slaw here is yummy. Nice crunch of cabbage and carrot. Mayo base and the perfect ratio of mayo and cabbage 10/10. Every group has a weak link and that is the fries. They were hard. They are shoestring fries and it can be easy to over cook this style of fry. Next time I will opt for another side option 1/10. The cornbread was ok but flavor wise was different and delicious. When I took a bite of this cornbread, my whole mouth dried. It literally sucked all the moisture from me . However, the flavor is vanilla cake like and just delicious 4/10. I also ordered a beverage called Morir Sonando. This is a Dominican beverage that typically consists of oranges, sugar, milk and ice. A beverage I am a fan of. For those foreign to Morir Sonando, it is very reminiscent of Dairy Queen's orange julius, except way less sweet and less thick. This drink is no short of amazing 10/10. Refreshing. Beef empanadas. Delicious. Get them. Get a side of the sauce 11/10. Lastly, I ordered the tres leches cake (3 milk cake). Perfection at its finest. When you're craving tres leches cake, you want THIS. Upon walking in for pick up, Pica Pollo West was very clean. Which makes my likely hood of returning anywhere higher. The service was average. Nothing worth noting. I will return. I want to try their fish next!

Upon walking in I went directly to the counter and placed my to go order, since I was a bit short on time but nonetheless in the mood for some beans and rice. There were 3-4 tables occupied and it seemed steady. I spoke with a young lady who appeared from the back - much to my delight - who took my info and advised me that it would be around 15 minutes. I did in fact get beans and rice but also a side of platanos maduros. After waiting in my vehicle for a bit, I returned to pick up my order. The stewed beans were savory and paired well with the rice. The platanos were excellent and prepared with just the right amount of oil, not overly saturated.
