It was pretty busy but the staff was working diligently to get the line moving. Kudos to them. The store was well stocked and had everything my student needed. Lots of parking as well!

I found what I needed and there was a service button to push for help getting merchandise(locked up). I waited and waited, decided to push the button on the machine in the next aisle ( incase 1st wasn't working). Finally girl came & I got my item. I also needed some nail polish . I wasn't in a hurry & decided to browse the store a bit before I checked out. After about 30 minutes, I went to the ladies room. Not wanting to bring unpaid merchandise into, I set it on a shelf across from the Starbucks, thinking it would be safe for 5 minutes. Well, unfortunately it was not. I came out and it was no where insight. I assumed someone was watching me and stoled it! I was pissed I wasted my time! I could have gone back to cosmetics and gone through all that again but I chose screw this.... I'll go to Fred Meyers! I know theft is out of control, especially Target for some reason. I was in this same store in August with my daughter. She needed to try on clothes. No one working back in the women's dressing rooms. The dressing room was full of clothes & I removed them. There was an enormous pile of tags that looked like ripped off from items. To me it looked like someone went into that dressing room with a pile of items & tore all the tags/tickets off and probably walked out the store. There are dishonest people out there, but Target needs to do a better job. There should have been staff working back there cleaning out dressing rooms and helping customers. While I was waiting for my daughter, several customers were waiting for open dressing rooms. All the doors were closed. Customers didn't know if rooms were open or not. I will say the entire dressing area was a mess! Maybe a perfect setup for thefts !

I was able to get all the things I needed and felt that the store is clean, organized and has their aisles spaced out perfectly. I had one of the workers help me get some baskets that I couldn't reach on the top shelf and he was very friendly and willing to assist. Tip: Sign up for the Fred Meyers rewards. You get a better deal on certain items that are on sale that week. I got an extra dollar off on each of the 5 items I bought that day. That's a savings of 5 bucks! Yay!

Major Food Safety & Packaging Oversight I am disappointed by…read morethe lack of tamper-evident packaging on store-prepared cut fruits, veggies, and fresh salads at Fred Meyer (noted at both the Springfield and Division locations). I recently witnessed a shopper open several fresh salad containers, put her hands directly into the food, put the lids back on, and return them to the shelf. Because these containers have no safety seals or shrink bands, there was no indication to the next buyer that the food had been contaminated. While store staff can't catch every shopper's actions, basic tamper-evident sealing is a simple industry standard that protects customers from major health risks. I hope management addresses this packaging oversight promptly to ensure public safety. The staff are oblivious as what to do with this complaint, shrugging shoulders and just carrying on... This is Kroger's SOP from their corporate website... Key Corporate Policies & Safety Practices In-Store Prepared & Fresh Produce Packaging: For fresh-cut produce and prepared foods prepared in-store or supplied by regional processors, Fred Meyer uses tamper-evident clamshell containers (featuring snap-locks or tear-away safety tabs) and label seals placed over the closure points. This ensures customers can visually confirm the package hasn't been opened since being prepared or packed. Quality Assurance & Defective Product Recalls: Under Kroger's Standard Operating Guidelines, if a prepared food item or vendor product is found with a compromised, missing, or broken safety seal on store shelves, the item is classified as compromised/defective. Store associates are required to pull and discard the product immediately rather than re-sealing or discounting it.

I come in here a lot. On days when I need escape from work life, I like to come in to Nordstrom…read moreRack and look around. If you come here frequently, that's how you can get the best deals, because you never know what new product they will be getting in! Nordstrom Rack has pretty much everything clothing and accessory-wise that you could need: pajamas, exercise apparel, outerwear, jewelry, bags, shoes, and more. And oh, the shoes. I've gotten Tory Burch, Jack Rogers, and Marc Jacobs shoes here before. If there's something I've bought here more than anywhere else, it would be shoes. They have a good selection, and if you don't see what you like at this particular location, you can always order something on Nordstromrack.com, which has a wider selection. Say that pair of shoes you ordered from the website doesn't fit? No big deal; you can bring them here to return, and there's a 90 day return policy. My latest trip here was unplanned. I was out doing errands and grocery shopping, and my umbrella broke. And of course since it's Eugene, a torrential downpour started. Rather than risk the chance of my purse getting ruined from the rain, I stopped in here before I headed over to Trader Joe's to look for an umbrella. And sure enough, they had a variety of umbrellas to choose from! I ended up getting a good quality umbrella here for $12.99, whereas the cheapest umbrellas across the way at Bed, Bath and Beyond were $18.99. Not to mention, my new green chevron print umbrella is far cuter than the plain black ones at BBB. In a city with a sad excuse for a mall (the Valley River Center, that is), this is one of the few places where you can get good quality clothes, shoes, accessories, and more.

But the shoe selection was outstanding as was the purse selection for unique and reasonably priced. Kierstyn was helpful with item that was missing a tag. Looking forward to returning.

Upstairs I saw Jack and asked if he knew about air fryers. He said yes. I showed him which one I wanted but there was no price. He scanned it and told me the price but said there would be coupons at checkout. Jack carried it down for me where Sharon took off coupons so I saved $45.00!!! Jack then carried it out to my car. I'd call all of that excellent customer service!! 5 stars!

My favorite section of this store is the clearance section, as they are always 50-80% off the retail price. So I've found $40 items for like $5. I've bought a bunch of shirts and sweaters on clearance here. The home section is good too. I've bought some cool kitchen stuff in here, candles, holiday decorations, and more. I'm typically not a huge fan of the shoe section. Just because I never find anything I can't live without there. My husband loves to check out their section of Oregon Duck gear. The store is always clean. That's never a problem. The racks could be spaced apart a little farther, as it seems claustrophobic at times. That's honestly my biggest complaint. Employees are a bit scarce as well. I never see any unless they are at the cash registers. So if you need something, good luck finding someone. They keep the metal pole things to get stuff off high racks stashed around the store, and you're never too far from one. So you just have to look for them. I know this, so I never have a problem with it. But if you're not familiar with where they are, finding someone to help you reach something can be frustrating and annoying. Being short, this is always a problem for me. The cashiers are so-so. They push the credit card thing really hard. I would presume it has something to do with how their performance is evaluated or something big, so they are required to push it. Sometimes they can be downright rude and hostile if you don't want their card. They ask, I give an excuse, they argue. Pull another excuse, another argument, followed by them trying to convince you, bla bla bla. Finally by the time you are agitated enough to snap at them, they back off. But they will harass you until you get pissed enough to yell at them over it. This is the worst part of the experience, and what keeps it at 3 stars. The store and the sales are worth 4 stars, but the cashiers who push the credit cards is what keeps it at 3 stars. I really wish they weren't required to be so pushy about it, and make it a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, it's not. If I could do self checkout, it would totally make 4 stars. Lol. I will definitely keep returning to this store to buy home decorations, clearance items, Duck gear for my husband, and much more.
