I went in to track down some large helium filled number balloons, which they don't carry. They do,…read morehowever, have air-filled numbered Mylar balloons (which I had never seen before). The clerk at the front was friendly, but her manager, Lisa, almost blew a gasket when I asked why they don't fill up their own Mylar balloons. Instead of explaining to me that they're air-filled Mylar, she shouted that they don't fill latex balloons. When I indicated that the clerk said the balloons were Mylar, not latex, she snapped back at me, "those are air-filled not helium-filled." Like it was the most obvious thing in the world. Apparently, I missed the course entitled, "balloon types and differences 101" in my college studies. I'm sure the store itself is great, it does seem better stocked than the one on Olympic; but, honestly, there isn't a single product at the dollar tree that's worth being snapped at by someone incapable of speaking to people like they're human let alone like they're customers. Dollar Tree: please, put someone else in charge. Manager Lisa is very clearly stressed out if she needs to yell at me about balloons in front of my two and four year old children. Yikes, lady. They were degrading us, saying we were "f****ed up" and telling us to hurry up. My mother and I continuing to be nice said were just grabbing ice cream and juice! And the very tall woman said "youre saying that b***ch but you arent walking up to my register." My mom then wanted to leave, I however, just wanted to grab my husband's ice cream and grape juice as we had been driving all day. So I proceeded to ask that woman manager nicely where the juice was and she said "oh good god!! our juice is right over here but I dont know about any grape juice." We walked over and spotted the grape juice and ran to the register as it was 9:57pm- The employee then said "wow, she is more f***cked up than I am" and i said excuse me? And he wouldnt speak another word, just continued looking at my mother and I In disdain and would not answer my question when I said my apple pay wasnt working, he slammed his finger to the right of the keyboard to point where the apple pay was, and was staring at us with his lip curled in anger. I feel like every Dollar Tree location can be very hit and miss in terms of customer service. Some are just terrible, and some fantastic. It seems like there is no in-between either. It's very black and white, no grey. Which seems a little odd to me, but that's simply my opinion. This one is definitely better than some. The store is always clean and well stocked with inventory. It's never messy or disorganized. Some stores you go in, things are never in the same place twice. That's never the case here, and I love that. So it makes my trips in here quicker and more efficient when I'm running in for one thing. It's easy to get in and get out. Cashiers are quick and efficient as well, while giving great customer service, with a smile. I feel like the line moves quickly, but I'm never rushed. It's simply efficient, and that's huge to me. Getting my stuff and getting out without waiting forever, but not feeling rushed by a cashier who is impatient. The balance of being quick, but friendly at the same time. This takes some skill, and I think most of the cashiers here have that perfect balance. Would I return? Absolutely. Like I said, it's not a place I frequent with any sort of consistency, but I always have a pleasant experience when I do go in here.
