I want to say, Thank you to Nicholas (I believe is spelled with an k, my apologies) He went above and beyond to make sure we had the product we were looking for. My husband and I were looking for a specific litter box for our new kittens and sadly even when the website said that it was in store we couldn't find it, that's when Nick came to the rescue and help us out. He check all around and when his work phone showed that the product was missing from the shelf he call a supervisor to help him go to the back of the store just to get us the litter box, he was professional and friendly. We saw a bbq grill on sale online and went to the store to purchase it, when we saw that the price was only if you purchased it online. So we asked 3 different sales reps if we could purchase it online and take it with us. They said no, that the delivery drivers have to scan it out of inventory when they pull it, and we could come pick it up after 3 hours. So, instead of letting us take it, they would rather spend money paying someone to get it for us. And I know for a fact that once you purchase it, it goes out of inventory. My husband and I went into Walmart last week to exchange our flat screen with ext warranty. We'll my husband slipped in some black liquid substance and went to the ground and his elbow went through the screen. Coach Ted took report and we went to EMERGENCY ROOM. 5 xrays, 2 meds for pain and swelling for the elbow abrasion and full arm wrap. We preceded to call the following week and could not be transfered to anyone so we went in and talked with Kathryn (lead) who got coach Ted who than came out and said, "I told you, I took the report and now it's outta my hands"! He than turned and walked away leaving me standing there looking dumb. I'm not sure what part of "we support our Veterans and active military" the y are talking about because my husband is a Veterand and he's disabled. Good going Walmart, way to support. read more

After my experience with one of the best known ophthmologiy operatins in the Eugene/Springfield ended with me having to have emergency surgery (at another practice) for what I thought would be routine cataract surgery. When I went for a post-op refraction exam, the receptionist failed to let my doctor know I was there, so I waited 45 minutes to be called. After check with the receptionist if they were behind on their appointments, she nonchalantly told me she "forgot" to check me in. I left immediately. I was done with this operation. But I still needed an exam and glasses. What to do? I wound up at Walmart (!) seeking an exam and glasses ASAP. I was lucky that Dr. Jeff Thomas had time to immediately do a refraction on my eyes. I also bought 2 pair of glasses at Walmart afterwards. Within a day, one pair of (Rx) sunglasses was ready. My vision is more than happy. My other pair of glasses are expected within a day of this writing. I'm not one to gush but I can say that this particular Walmart store has it right. The whole experience was problem free. I had a cart full of groceries. I had to use the bathroom, and asked an employee named Travis who was greeting customers at the door, if he could watch my cart while I use the bathroom. He shrugged, but he didn't say no. So I go, come back a few minutes later, and the cart is gone. When I asked him where it was, he just said it's not his responsibility to watch carts. He said the same thing when another employee asked him where it was. They said my only choice was to start my shopping all over. I worked retail for six years. I get it, it can suck. Located right down the street from my Aunt's house, this store is SO easy to get to, and it has literally EVERYTHING. My mom needed kneehighs for the funeral we were attending and neither of us packed a pair, so I went to the walmart to find some. It used to be you'd find them in the hosiery section for $0.25 a pair. They're a lot harder to find, and I found a 6 pack for $6.00 which was out of my price range, but with another person's help - she was looking for them too, we found single pairs for $0.62 ea. The store is large with a large shared parking lot. If you need groceries, home goods or what have you, this store is going to have it. read more

Worst customer service at Beauty section. Associate would not open a case so I could purchase clippers. She acted like she didn't want to help me at all. I came back later and asked again and she would open the other cases for other customers BUT when it was my turn in line she wouldn't help me at all. Associate had a long white Mask, older woman and works at this walmart location at 2659 Olympic St. Springfield, OR 97477 I otherwise had a great interaction with the cashier and garden section associates. Never had a problem with this location until 6/24/2021. Really great pharmacy tech associates!! Just very upset how I was treated and brushed away to not be helped. read more

This location has by far the best employees I've seen in a Wal-Mart! They are friendly, and know what they are doing. If you ask for something, they will find it for you, or take you to it. They ask if you need anything when you're going down an isle and they are stocking shelves. They'll stop to help you if you need it. Plus, my favorite part, they are intelligent! These employees broke the mold, for sure. They really go above and beyond what you typically expect from Wal-Mart. The store itself is quite large, but easy to navigate. They always have a good selection, at great prices. I love clearance here because you get good deals. If they are out of something I need, an employee will check the stock counts and determine if they've got any hiding in the back, or when the next delivery is coming. The one portion of the store I despise, and why my rating is four instead of 5 stars is the pharmacy. They are THE slowest, rudest, and most incompetent group of people I've ever seen in my life. They make the DMV look like Disneyland in comparison! Stay away from there and fill your prescriptions anywhere else. Trust me, you'll thank me later. Other than that, I like the store. The cashiers know familiar faces and people they see often. So if you're buying cigarettes or alcohol, once they've checked your ID and remember you, you don't have to keep showing it to them every single time. It's nice that even in a corporate chain store, the employees recognize and remember their customers. read more

This has to be one of the worst Walmarts of all time. The customer service is the worst you will ever experience. It is the filthiest Walmart you will ever go to. The worst employees are the ones that work in the deli counter. The deli counter slicing machine opens at 7:00!in the morning. Yet if you show up at 7:05 you will encounter an angry deli person who is so mad that she has to start working at 7:05 in the morning. You're also supposed to be a to try on clothes starting at 7:00 in the morning you will never be able to find someone who works in the dressing room at that time. No one will be at the jewelry counter in the morning. If you like a product don't get used to it because the following week they will no longer carry it. It is the worst experience to have to go to Walmart in Springfield Oregon! read more

This Christmas season has been really frustrating to do anything at this Walmart store. The store is newly remodeled with so many self checkout registers yet non of them are open. The last time I tried to make a purchase there, they had 5 registers open. The lines for checkout were very long. It's more than frustrating to look at ALl the self checkout registers closed. We as a family have chose to do less at Walmart because of this and I'm pretty sure we are not the only ones. read more

I cant speak for the store, other than that is very clean. I got my oil changed there in my 06 Dodge diesel. I went to just buy the stuff and do it myself but I was intercepted by a mechanic named Paul that told me the charge was $30 for them to do it if I paid for everything else. That is a good deal. Also there was a discrepancy on my receipt that the zest fittings weren't greased because there was none. I know better and Paul came to my truck and had me pull it back in and he greased them and learned something new. He was extremely polite and funny. We've shopped at this Walmart for eight years. The staff are kind, prices reasonable, delivery and pick-up reliability are excellent. In eight years I have never been treated rudely. Before I travel about 50 miles into town i call ahead so I can figure my route. I asked about specific products and was told yes they had them. When I got there of course they didn't. The man that looked all over for me (great guy really tried) said they never look just say yes. The manager was gone but the assistant was there. She looked all of 15 and all she would say as I explained the problem was smile and OK like she thought it was funny. I said 2x no it wasn't ok but I guess even with only 1 lung and 1/2 a voice box I was too loud and wild and was told to leave (her) store. By the way I stopped at Bi-Mart and found everything I was looking for and t was alittle bit cheaper. With help like that girl walmart must be so rich they don't need customers. read more

It's ok to get oil done if you don't care waiting for someone to look up a video on how to reset your lite. I had to help home do his job and that makes me feel nervous about what they did when I was not watching. I will not return to this Walmart because I don't want to hope they forget the oil. When it came time to checkout there was only one cashier open. There as a big line of customers. At nine in the morning it was quite busy. I asked the girl working there if she could call for more help, but she said she could not. There was no point getting testy with her. There were a lot of self check out stands open, but I would rather not. I am not an employee there, so I do not wish to do the work of one. They will not force me to use them or get cranky the help. Bought a outdoor rug from Wal-Mart Wanted to take it back - unopened and believe it or not they sold it from a Third party. They are not Amazon. Rug was $229 they said I could send it back at my cost. Took it to FedEx and they were going to charge me $281! Contacted the third party OJCommerce to ask for a one time smart label and they refused. Won't do business with either one. read more

The part that has all the lotions, face wash, finger nail polish remover, nail clippers, tweezers and makeup , etc. This is not posted on their information or on their front door. Blocked me from entering because I was carrying a longboard. I only came to purchase a handful of items, and skated about 15 minutes there and was stopped at the store and told skateboards were not permitted. There is no safe location for it available, such as bike racks for bikes, and it's small and very obviously personalized. Probably the worst experience we have had in a very long time. In the electronics department, extremely inappropriate dialog from salesperson, trash mouth and downgrading the product we were trying to buy. Calling an item over and over again 'gay' shows his lack of intelligence and ethic, and indicating if he had the kind of 'money' we had to purchase an item, he would just prefer to feed his family. Clearly we won't be spending our 'saved up money' to buy anything in that department. Management needs to have a chat with Mr. Pro Microsoft guru gamer guy, educate him on sales and at least a little etiquette. I wonder how many people have left feeling terrible and just don't say anything. He is certainly a stand out compared to the rest of the stores crew, whom have always been really kind, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately for all businesses, it takes one really bad experience/word of mouth to drive people away. We are just one little family, so not sure how much that means to Walmart - but it's not worth it to us to be treated so poorly. read more

I have signed up for walmart + and in the past it has been ok but today I have experienced the worse display of customer service. I was suppose to receive my delivery between 11-12 so at 1230 I contacted support and the agent had said that the driver cancelled and no one even thought about reaching out to me. The agent said he would call the store and then call me back again no one calls me back. 2 hours later I reach out to support again and was told that they hadn't assigned me a new driver yet but promised me my order would be delivered in 2 hours. So 5 hours after the original delivery time my husband goes down there and no one even pulled my order. He said workers where just standing around customer service looking at their phones but their excuse was high volume. I am highly disappointed in Wal-Mart and at this point I think I'm going to cancel their service and I don't think I will ever step 1 foot in their store again. They didn't care that I waited around all day on groceries I needed at that specific time not even a courtesy call. SMH walmart you lost a good customer. read more

THIS Wal-Mart says my mom just tripped the manager and staff member were not there when she fell. There was a rug by her and a bubble in it the when she went down she tried to grab water fountain but was not able to get it. She hit her head and has been in hospital a rehab ever since. Due to this she needs care because she is afraid now. However Wal-Mart says she tripped and if I want info I have to get an attorney. BUYERS BEWARE!! Never had a problem with Walmart till now. I am pregnant and got a swim suit about a month ago, I never used it and now it doesn't fit. So logically I thought I could return it. When I got up to the Customer Service counter the lady scanned it and told me that she can't take it because it's a swim suit and it's "out of season", but if I had a receipt (from a month ago) then she could take it. I don't know how that makes sense. I just wanted store credit. Up until now I have always been able to return any item, heck I returned a Christmas item during spring with no problem! Our visit was Tuesday 10-23-2018 early afternoon for groceries only and this review is based on the food side of the store. We have been trying to use Walmart for our groceries for the last 6 months approximately. I can not believe how empty the shelves are on so many items. This is a company, a manager of a store in a community that obviously can use all the cost savings us humans can get, but yet the actions do not follow the words that come out of the mouths. Maybe we should make a real Walmart commercial one that shows the truth, not the syrupy ones on TV now! I have switched up the times of shopping to help but it doesn't matter. So he says this to me instead of letting me know the machine wasnt even working! This is by far the best Walmart I've ever been to - with some of the friendliest, most helpful employees I've ever had the privilege of interacting with! I'm a college student, and today, my mother and I were looking for new furniture to purchase for my apartment. We first went to the Walmart located in Eugene and discovered (unsurprisingly) that it was pretty much barren; the Eugene location gets a lot more foot-traffic than the Springfield one so its inventory is often sucked dry. We then decided (for the first time) to venture to this Springfield location. All in all, we had a wonderful experience! Every single employee was lovely, beyond helpful, and dedicated to making sure we had a good experience. The greeters were kind and courteous; Leon (a department head) dutifully and earnestly helped us select our furniture (a chest of drawers and bedside table); a very kind assembler assembled our furniture for FREE within the day (we picked them up, completely assembled, less than three hours later); and there were countless other fantastic employees, from the cashier to those who helped us migrate our assembled furniture to our car. Walmart's are normally a hassle to deal with, or at the very least, a bland experience. But this location really is wonderful due to its beyond fantastic employees! read more
