Probably the 2nd worst Home Goods location I've ever been to. They really don't have much of anything and it's hard to find stuff. The store just feels super disorganized. Want kitchen items? They seem to be scattered everywhere. A little over here, a little over there. It's not an efficient place to shop. And relative to other Home Goods stores, it felt very lacking in substance. Nothing very exciting. Imagine the remnants of every other store combined in one place. All the stuff nobody wanted, 1 of each thing. Employees aren't particularly helpful or friendly. We tried asking for help in something we were looking for and the woman we encountered clearly had no interest in being bothered. It was very much a "if you can't find it on the shelf we don't have it" attitude. Other floor staff were similar in personality. Like you're in their way being in the store. The person at checkout was so much better - she was super nice. I think people who are impressed by this store have never been to a GOOD Home Goods store. I've been to TJ Maxx...and I've been to Home Goods...but never combined TOGETHER. WOAH. It was huge and had just about everything you'll ever need shy of groceries. I went in looking for a rug, maybe a lamp among some other things as we are redoing one of our rooms! Some things are priced better than elsewhere (rugs for instance - WAY better prices) and other things were more pricey. And that's ok! Everything they have looks so nice. Very aesthetic, popular looks. I will be back, and if anything, it's fun to just look around at everything here! read more

We like to go shopping at TJ Maxx as they have such a great selection of items for your home. The other day, we were looking for specific cookie jar and could not find one on the shelves. So we asked a young lady by the name of Ella if she knew where in the store we might find what we were looking for. She said "I don't think we have any on the floor but let me check the backroom as I think there might be one there". So she takes off and pretty soon she comes back with not only one, but two of the item we were looking for! Service is always great at TJ Maxx but Ella took it up a notch higher for going the extra step for a customer! It was appreciated so very much! read more

I've been to many a TJ Maxx store in the US and they vary greatly in quality, selection and overall shopping experience. Some really bite. Some are great. My favorite TJ Maxx store is in Woodinville, WA (Seattle suburb), and I've purchased practically my entire wardrobe from this store, plus luggage and a gazillion other items. Oh, how I love my TJ Maxx store! This Eugene store gives mine a good run for its money. It totally rocks! First of all, it is huge, like a TJ Maxx warehouse, almost. It is well organized, clean, with excellent signage. It's easy to navigate the store; circulation is good. No tiny, narrow aisles to wrestle through. Merchandise is in the correct areas, on the right racks, nothing strewn on the floors. Plenty of employees on the floor to ask questions of or assist in finding items. There's a HUGE selection of clothing and home goods here - way more home accessories than my usual TJ Maxx store. In fact, about half this huge store is devoted to home goods. There are tons of lamps and even furniture items, kitchen and bathroom items and travel and pet departments, too. Prices are good. Quality is great. Selection is huge. Staff is friendly and helpful. I can't imagine wanting anything more in a store. read more

Service at this particular TJ Maxx location has been nothing short of wonderful in my many trips. Surprisingly consistent, short waits, and the store is always well kept. In terms of product, this location has regularly stocked a small amount of Peter Millar, G/FORE and several other high-end golf brands that are ideal for business casual office wear. The men's section is a touch small, but the product assortment inches closer and closer to a Nordstrom Rack each time I return. Price points are outstanding. If you're a bit of a bargain hunter, I'd highly recommend this TJ Maxx location as your first stop when freshening your wardrobe. read more

How does this place have no reviews? As a Bay Area native, I've struggled to find adequate shopping places in Eugene. Valley River Center typically leaves me depressed with its tiny, commercial stores and I have yet to find promising retail in Oakway Center. I don't know how I would survive my college experience (on my college budget) without this gem. It's definitely hit or miss, and I can usually tell within the first five minutes of entering whether I'll be making a purchase. In summary: Betsey Johnson tights; Guess, BCBG, Chinese Laundry and even Dolce Vita shoes; Paige, Vigoss, True Religion, and Free People jeans, James Perse button-up shirts and Ducks/University of Oregon clothing. I'm not a "brand person" but I love quality clothing that fits, and have scored some amazing deals here. I recently found Paige skinny jeans that fit like a glove for $59, marked down from $100something. Winning. Knowledgeable staff that doesn't give you a deer-in-headlights look when you ask questions, and ample cashiers so the line moves quickly. I'm a happy customer, and will continue to stop by during my Trader Joe's grocery runs. read more

My daughter and I were checking out and proceeded to the register we were prompted to go to, but as soon as we got to register 5 the cashier told us to go to the next register 6 in a VERY rude manner and then proceeded to assist the next caucasian woman. It will quite awhile or maybe never until i shop your store again. It is such a pity and sad that people like this exist. read more

I'm not usually a fan of stores like Ross, Marshall's, or even TJ Maxx, but this TJ Maxx Home Goods store is great! I came in here today looking for a Halloween costume for my cat. While they didn't really have that great of a selection of pet costumes left, I think that's more my fault for waiting until the week before Halloween to do my shopping, and isn't really a reflection of the store itself. But aside from a rather scant selection of cat costumes, TJ Maxx Home Goods has just about everything else you need, and things you didn't know you needed. I looked around the rest of the store, and was impressed by the variety of merchandise they carry here. While their shoe and clothes selection is not quite up to par with Nordstrom Rack's selection, they do have an excellent home decor and kitchen goods department. There were plenty of adorable mugs, traditional blue China pattern plates, and these really cute Japanese tea pots. They also had a ton of throw pillows, all of which were reasonable prices. The last thing I need to do is buy more mugs and teapots (I have more than I know what to do with!), but if I were to buy another teapot, I would come here. They had a Japanese ceramic teapot shaped like an owl that was only $7.99, and it was a pretty big teapot! I thought the store itself was pretty well maintained considering it's a discount store that gets an unpredictable assortment of product in each month, and probably has a lot of customers picking things up and putting them in other places. When I went to the register, the employee (I think his name was Chad?) was really friendly and personable. If there's one thing I appreciate about retail employees, it's an upbeat attitude. There's nothing worse than encountering employees who obviously hate their jobs, and this was definitely not the case here. I will be back for sure! read more

It's your typical TJ Maxx Home Goods store. Lots of great stuff you don't realize you need until you see it. I've been to this location a couple of times and each time the parking lot is packed, store is bustling and the register lines are very long. Nevertheless, I'll probably return for another item I can't seem to live without. read more

TJ Maxx...how I loathe you. Ever since I was a wee-little lad, I was forced beyond my will to go to this hellish pit of cheap goods. What was a 7 year old boy to do? In the clutches of his mother's Mazda mini van, hours of after school time was spent plotting a way to escape the clutches of discount women's clothes and useless kitchen nick-knacks. Even today, after 20 years of having to go to this demonic wormhole, you'll find a plethora of middle-aged women searching for thrifty, yet fashionable items for their homes. With my formative years scarred by these experiences, I don't think I'll ever enjoy coming to this store. I'm sure I own a few things that come from here--more of them given as gifts than actual purchases. You'll most likely find value in some of the items they have. You probably know TJ MAXX, but just in case you don't: TJ MAXX is a gigantic store full of discarded stuff from last season, slightly damaged items, and other crap. You will never find what you're looking for here, yet you'll keep coming back. Because you'll find a million other things you didn't really need but want to buy anyway, gifts for christmas next year or some relative's birthday, and weird muffin mixes and spice grinders. I'll let you in on a little secret: If you like to shop at local gift/decor shops, you might as well go straight to TJ MAXX, especially on a Wednesday when the new stuff comes in, because that's where our local gift shops stock up. They buy it super cheap from here, slap their own overpriced sticker on it, and suddenly it's a fancy gift item. So save yourself the money and go straight to TJs. read more

Amazing customer service! The managers are always the first to recognize you and welcome you in and the employees are so willing when it comes to helping you find something. The fitting room is what stands out to me. The workers in there are so kind and genuine and actually make you feel appreciated as a customer. I've honestly never gone to a fitting room and had such great customer service. I think by seeing the quality of their service even in their fitting rooms shows the genuine approach this location has! read more

Wow! By far the best customer service we have ever experienced at a Home Goods store. They even went to the back to help me look for two more picture frames with a smile. Wish this was closer to home as I would be a regular customer! Cashier was equally as friendly and even offered to wrap each frame individually. read more

This place is a higher end version of Ross--more like a store full of sale-priced department store items with some clearance stuff thrown in. Quality is probably a little better than Ross, but you will definitely pay more. Yes, there are some great bargains to be had, but in my experience, it can be harder to find a steal to brag about. I like that there is usually a good selection of home items (bath, kitchen, etc), and the staff here are generally pretty friendly. read more

I'm not always able to find what I need here, but I do like to check tj maxx when I'm shopping for specific items because they tend to carry really unique things. I've been struggling to find a good pair of work shoes lately, but I found a pair today that I just adore. So happy! I also love to search for their Betsey johnson items. TJ Maxx is pretty cool when you need some home decor and house ware on the cheap. They have clothing too but it's one of those situations where you find a couple things or a ton of cute stuff. It fluctuates with the seasons so you either get lucky or have to keep going back to find the good stuff. I do like their home goods section. They have great vases, dog beds that are cheaper than any pet store, decorations and even cute outdoor accessories. They also have fake plants, furniture and outdoor furniture for pretty decent prices. There are of course some things that aren't really that great of a deal or aren't the best of quality but it's like that in most stores. They have a huge parking lot and very friendly employees. This can be a good place to get nice gifts for someone or if you have a certain theme you are trying to buy like nautical etc. They even had some bridal stuff like a bride robe and bridesmaids accessories. read more

I am slightly obsessed with this store. You can get such great deals in shoes, work clothes, workout gear, etc. So much cheaper than anywhere else. I go here way too often. Always have new stuff on the featured rack so if you're in a hurry you can just look at those then leave. read more

I like the TJ Maxx store in Eugene, my wife loves this place. The usually have nicely priced items, great selection. The people who work here are a mixed review, some happy and some not so happy. The only thing I cannot stand (on principal alone) is this stupid bag ban. Ok i understand it's a city wide ordinance, or even an enviroment issue that you have no control over. So the city says you can charge me .5 cents a bag. So iI come into your store and spend 100$ and you still think you need to charge me for the bag because the city says it's ok? Funny that Costco can reuse a box or Victoria ' s Secret can get bags from corporate without having to charge an already paying customer even more for their products. I would rather drive to Salem TJ'S just to not shop here, just on that principle alone. Other than that I really enjoy the products you carry, and your prices are fair. Thank you. read more

It's quite annoying that they organize very well by sizes & lengths better than any store, but yet they don't have the best taste or selection in clothes. I was missing Ross Dress for Less 10mins after I was in there! Ross has a way better selection of clothes for the younger group & for cheaper. Loved their no touch soap, running water & automatic paper towels in the bathroom.. but yet you still have to open up the door & dirty your hands again! Lol I can remember when TJ Maxx was good before they moved across the road & redesigned. read more
