I was disappointed by my experience here. I went in simply wanting to get an updated glasses prescription so I could purchase affordable glasses elsewhere. I was told that unless I agreed to either full eye dilation or an expensive additional retinal imaging test, the optometrist would not see me at all. I understand that doctors may recommend certain exams, but refusing to provide a basic vision exam and prescription unless I purchased extra, costly procedures felt inappropriate and pressured. Patients should be allowed to make informed choices about their care without being denied service. The girls at the front desk were very nice and so for their friendliness, I am giving a couple of stars. I will not be returning and would not recommend this office to anyone who wants straightforward, affordable eye care. read more

First I want to say how nice everyone is at Beyond Optometry. I suffer from terribly dry eyes and I have been doing IPL sessions for a while with Dr Ardakani, as it is the only thing so far that seems to work a little. Jasmine is so patient and so calm when prepping me for the sessions! Lately my eyes have become worse, and even IPL does not seem to alleviate the burning pain and the gritty sensation. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I was referred by a friend who saw Dr. A for double vision which is my issue. I had given up hope on getting help because my prior eye doctor just dismissed the issue. Dr. A was able to address the situation immediately and offered a solution. I literally cried during the eye exam because the problem was resolved. I had lived with the issue since last year. I will be continuing on with Dr. A as my new eye doctor. I have been incredibly pleased and impressed with the consistent care and communication from Dr. Ardakani and his staff. I suffer from very uncomfortable dry eyes. I have tried a few doctors and always felt frustrated with the care I was receiving. I am grateful to have found Dr. Ardakani. I feel truly listened to and supported and that their true goal is to help me find much needed relief. The office is quiet and calm, incredibly welcoming. Jasmine and Rob are super lovely. Rob was so helpful and knowledgeable in finding a frame that fits me comfortably and fitting me with lenses to help my vision and what is most important to me when it comes to what I see when looking through my lenses. I have never had an optician ask me such questions regarding that. It was so helpful. Jasmine has a very gentle touch. I just began IPL treatments and she got me prepped for it. I would say I love getting my eyes touched as much as I love going to the dentist (complete dread) but Jasmine made me feel incredibly calm and safe. This is the second year my exam is with Dr. Ardakani and he has taken very good care of my eyes since I started coming to him. He also has all the fine equipment to detect any issues with my eyes. His exams are very thorough and he addresses any problems my eyes might encounter. He also provides instructions to follow up with his findings. Especially, he recommended other specialists for me to see to address some issues that more need attention. He's very pleasant and will listen to any concerns I might have. Pricing is outrageous. Especially compared to 21 months ago when I got my very 1st pair....doubled on 1 pair of eyeglasses $400 to $800. They lost both mine and my husband's business and are gaining 2 bad reviews over their price gouging. My hubby has been going here for years, myself once. Better off going to Costco. Atleast they would have $10 change on hand. Wasted even more of my time as a gal had to go fetch change from a business close by. Ummm.....wasted $50 & an hour and a half of my time. My apologies to friends that I recommended to go here, my bad and deepest regrets in doing so. There are so many other affordable places to go. To double in price is disgusting Do yourself a favor and try anywhere but here. Costco is next on my list! I heard excellent things of their optometry department. Never ever would I recommend Beyond Optometry EVER AGAIN, MOST especially if you have VSP. I recently became a patient at Beyond Optometry and my care here has been top notch. I was desperate to find out what was causing my eye pain and quickly needed relief. I called multiple optometrists to see if they could take me in the same day and this place was fortunately able to due to it being an emergency. Dr. Ardakani diagnosed me and was thorough in explaining what was going on with my eye. He followed up for weeks until it finally healed (stubborn eye!!) I've decided to continue my regular eye exams here since I've been happy with the care I've received. My husband recently started coming here and had a great experience as well. Pleasantly surprised for my first visit. I was able to make an appointment quickly after loosing a contact down the drain . The staff is very nice and treated me kindly and helped me pick out a pair of new glasses as well. I love the newer technology used during my exam compared to my previous optometrist. Excellent service and experience. I took my nine-year-old daughter to see Dr. Frimtzis for an eye exam after she complained about having trouble seeing the board in school. I was a little nervous because it was her first time getting her eyes checked and dilated. Dr. Frimtzis was super nice and patient with my daughter, which made her feel comfortable. I've been in search of a great eye clinic for a long time and I seem to have found it. The doctor and staff are extremely professional and knowledgeable and they use the most advanced equipment I've ever seen. Dr. Ardakani explains everything in detail and it's obvious that he wants the patient to be engaged in their care. This doctor is very unprofessional, always hiding things and lying about all kinds of things. Keeping telling you how good the product is before buying and after you purchased, he doesn't care about your progress at all. He hides child's prescription and every time you ask, he will tell you there is slightly small change in prescription. Be careful that his optometry 's tests and or exam are inaccurate. A week after our last optometry, I went to see another doctor and found a big discrepancy in 2 doctors' prescription. So I seriously suspect that it was his unprofessional operation that caused my daughter's prescription to increase rapidly even after a year's treatment, and delayed her correct treatment time. And because of wearing his products, my daughter's eyes had become very, very dry now. She has allergic reaction of redness and can't wear this product anymore. The doctor still doesn't care what you say and he refuses to refund the unuse part of the product even my daughter has allergic reaction. He even orders to deliver the new contact lenses before the checkup so the prescription of contact lenses is not correct at all. The most ridiculous thing is that you ask the doctor to get a copy of your own examination report each time and he asks us to pay for each copy based on pages and you will be forced to sign a form to release your own info to yourself. This is not what a doctor should do. Do not recommend this store, be careful or you will be cheated read more
