They all are Amazing but there is one that shines brighter. Her name is Jenny. Can't say enough great things about her. She is kind, professional and knows her stuff. She continues to push and deliver great guest service. Jenny is the reason I keep coming back. Jenny always listens to the concerns of her guests and always has a solution. I was in need of getting my eye glass prescription renewed and a friend recommended LensCrafters. I decided to schedule an appointment at this location because it's the closest to my home. The Optometrist and everyone who helped me there were super friendly and helpful. After they figured out my prescription they assigned a person to help me pick out the glasses that I wanted. After looking at every pair and trying on a bunch, I settled on 3 pairs of Ray-Ban's (1 pair of glasses and 2 pairs of sunglasses). They were having a good sale although it was still pretty pricey but I think Ray-Bans are worth it. They called me to let me know as each pair of glasses were ready for pickup. They had to send it off to have my prescription glasses put in. Each pair was ready on different days. I had all 3 pairs within 2 weeks. One of the sunglasses started having issues closing all the way after about a week of having them. I stopped by LensCrafter without an appointment to see if they could help me. I do wish they had more of a selection for kids or smaller humans. . The staff were all really friendly and nice. They all seemed to have patience, which they need for all my questions haha They even do this eyeball image thing and you can get a digital copy of it for future reference. That's $40 tho. These ripoff artist don't even give you a simple cleaning kit . I got my glasses in a bag and was told the bag was the lens cleaner. Fucking Walmart gives you cleaner, a few cleaning cloths, and a small bag to keep it in. Never going back. Shit company shit customer service. read more

worst experience ever. Just about every time I go to this fake optometrist location. I show up for my appointment 40 minutes early and they tell me I didn't confirm. My wife confirmed, but they said she did not so I guess we are liars. The man at the counter suggest I wait 45 minutes to see if the person that has an appointment at 2 PM doesn't show up and they could see my daughter then. I needed better driving glasses but had an old pair of sunglasses that I loved that I just needed the lens switched out. This wasn't an issue for Lens Crafters. When I arrived, they were very busy. Nicole acknowledge me and said that she'll be with me when she was done with another client. I only waited few minutes. She was very helpful, informative and super nice. Actually, everyone in this location was super welcoming and nice. I've had Lasik surgery and have mono vision which means one eye is for near sight and the other for far. Nicole was very precise with her measurements and helpful in picking the type of lenses. I don't always wear glasses to drive but once in a while when I'm dehydrated and tired, these lenses really help out. I was told that the glasses would be ready in about ten days. But I got the call on the following morning, informing me that my glasses are ready. It was great! My glasses looked awesome and were very comfortable. I got Grey Transition lenses which worked out beautifully. If or when I need new glasses, I'll definitely be back. Great choices, products and amazing customer service! read more

I have such a compliment for Vanessa and Tammy at the Escondido location. I ordered two sets of lenses for my son's very specific frames, they were a bit pricey but we could only get the lenses through them. The lenses took longer to get and when I received the second pair it had been damaged by the outsourced lab. I brought it to the attention to Vanessa and she went and spoke with the manager without me even asking and they quickly compensated me for the damages done. I was beyond thankful and pleasantly surprised at the incredible customer service that was offered. I was honestly nervous when I saw the reviews being quite low at this place. But when I went in the other day because I had an appointment, everyone was very friendly and I had some fun conversations with them. I forgot the names who have helped me but I had three people who have helped me with my eye exam and they were all awesome! I was able to get my glasses prescribed and got my contact lenses ordered as well. They even told me what deals were going on and helped which may be cheaper with my insurance so I knew they weren't just selling me something that I did or did not want. I even received an email that they already scheduled my next eye exam next year, which was awesome for them to do. I've been a customer on/off for the past 20 years since the company is everywhere. They are generally friendly & helpful. This the first time I was impressed with one staff, I bet he can do their TV ads as he really wants to help you sort it out :) He's like the model employee: polite, professional, patient with explaining the FAQs of insurance, lens options and what the options would actually look, without any salesman tactics or pressure. He compared costs with and without insurance, what discounts apply etc. When asked, he gives his opinion about your choice of lens or frames without sounding fake about what looks good (or not). So I'm a fan of LC now because of MARCEL and will refer friends and family at this location. read more

Well I used to go here but I think that moving forward, I'll take my eyecare needs elsewhere. They fitted me with a new prescription and when I put on my new $600 glasses, my head was swimming. I was asked to wear them for a few weeks. I guess that you can say my eyes "adjusted." But then I lost my glasses -- their damage protection policy doesn't cover lost glasses -- and I was forced into my old prescription. I see infinitely better with this old prescription. I contend someone made a mistake but I have zero recourse with this business. I understand that this is a business and they are here to make money but I have given this Lenscrafters, literally THOUSANDS of dollars in business over the past 6 years and they won't help me out. I just got off the phone with Tammy the manager at the Escondido store who was extremely rude I told her to cancel my glasses because Vanessa the sales lady lied to me and told me that I had a $55 co-pay but I did not what she did if she charged me for a bunch of things on my lenses that I did not verify at all and when I told Tammy to just go ahead and cancel my order she hung up on me super super unprofessional. Do not go here!! I don't know what their issue with eye exams is but they're terrible!! They have messed up my prescription two years in a row. The first year they didn't fit the glasses properly, I couldn't see good out of them, had to go back twice so they could make adjustments. The second year I had the same complaint and told them one eye is weaker than the other and they're not doing the prescription right. I can put my hand over one eye and the vision is completely blurry, other eye clear, the doctor that did exam acted like she didn't want to hear it and was very dismissive . She said well I don't want to overcorrect. I explained it's not even corrected at all, at this point it's giving me a headache on that side. I went elsewhere to get it rechecked. They instantly told me "your prescription is wrong, nothing is adjusted on your weaker eye!!" I will never go back to LensCrafters, such a waste of my time plus their frames are so overpriced!! They get rude if you ask for prescription without buying g their frames! read more

I didn't used to care for LensCrafters after a weird experience years ago in San Bernardino, but I've been going to this Escondido location for a few years now. They take my insurance and I've liked the opticians that I see when I'm there. They have a pretty good selection of glasses and some can be completed the same day. The only negative is they are VERY expensive. My insurance helps to offset that, but Costco is much cheaper, although with less of a selection and I have to submit a claim to my insurance which is a pain. Since I'm mostly lazy, its easier to go to LensCrafters. Not every interaction has been top notch, but overall, its usually a good experience and most of the sales people are friendly and professional. read more

But way too much fine print as she ended up paying an additional $50 and would be without glasses for weeks.. This wonderful experience goes along with a rude sales girl and a useless manager.
