I have been going to grand vision for the past 3 years and I must say they are the ones who made the best glasses I ever wore. Not only the Dr takes her time and explains pretty much everything you want to know about, Grand vision also offers a good selection of frames and will correct/redo your lenses for pretty much any reasons, for free (and fast!). A completely wonderful optometry office. All the staff are kind, attentive, and thorough. Dr. Wong is fantastic and I love how she works with and communicates with her patients. I had my first visit (I wear either glasses or contacts daily) and the exam was thorough and corrected errors my last optometrist made with my prescription. I took all three of my kids (ages 6, 8, 11) for their annual checkups and the staff and Dr Wong were so helpful, kind, and patient with my inquisitive kiddos. We love Grand Vision Optometry!! From the moment you walk in, the energy is more like a day spa than a doctor's office. I felt welcome, everything was clean, employees were inviting and friendly. The office is set up to be a calm place. Dr. Wong is out of this world. She was incredibly knowledgeable even if you are the unusual case. She was fantastic with my kids and really took the time to explain everything. Should you need frames, the selection is fantastic. And if you are like me where you are fashionably challenged and need help picking them out, the front office staff is very accomodating and will help you without rushing you. It was actually fun and I'm so happy with my purchase! It's so important when picking out something that will sit on your face every day and becomes part of who you are/your look. Covid precautions are in place. Masks and social distancing are required. If you want to try on a frame, you bring it to the tables (have mirrors) and after you are done, they clean them before putting them back. Well I'd like to start saying that I have been wearing glasses since I was in 3rd grade. I'm used to the whole routine of eye appointments but it has been about 2-3 years since I had an exam. My glasses recently broke and I needed to find a reliable optometrist to go too. I went through my insurance and saw that this place had great reviews, so I scheduled my appointment. I am unsure who answered the phone and assisted me but they got me an appointment for the next morning! How great is that?! I was given details of where to find it so I would have no issues. Super friendly and courteous over the phone. Going to today, I arrived to my appointment and was created by AJ. She was super thorough with the paperwork and the whole process. I was assisted by a young gentleman (I didn't get his name) and went through the questionnaire and the Retinal Scan. He was great and a pleasure to be assisted by. Dr. Wong, was a super delight!! She was an informative doctor and so sweet. She was very informative in cautionary methods to maintain eye health. The dilation of the eye is not a necessary expense and she will let you know if it's recommended. They don't charge up the wazoo here! They go by what's best for you. I was mislead with my insurance about what is and is not covered. Guess who worked with me to make sure I was not leaving without something to help my vision? AJ!! She let me know the best case scenario. Like I mentioned I have broken glasses and the contacts I came with, a big NO NO! AJ let me know a year supply of contacts was the way to go. Broke down the price before and after insurance AND let me know about a rebate for Acuvue where I can get some of my money back. Overall best Optometry spot! It was time for my yearly eye exam and I of course visited my go to place Grand Vision Optometry. The staff here is super friendly. They have water bottles in a fridge in the waiting room for all their patients. I felt pretty safe coming here during CoVid as they do a great job of disinfecting highly touched surfaces as well as the medical equipment before and after each use. Their office is very clean and well organized. I've never had to wait too long to see the doctor either which I really appreciate. I've been a patient of theirs for a long time (probably 6 years or so) and plan on being for the foreseeable future. If you're looking for a great Optometrist, this is definitely a great place to have your eyes taken care of. read more

I have been going to this optometrist for over 7 years now. Dr. Fu and all the staff are very efficient and courteous. The wait is never over 10-15 min and they never keep you longer than you need to be. The staff also do the most to use your insurance benefits and get you the best quality eye glasses or sun glasses. I needed a new optometrist and was overdue for a check up and contacts. I first went here in May 2020 and had a good experience. The optometrist and staff were nice enough and professional. They also have a decent selection of glasses frames to choose from. My experience has kinda gone downhill since then. I ran out of contacts last month and was in the area so I stopped in to make an appointment. Unfortunately, I ended up having a conflict and was unable to make my appointment. I literally called 10+ times over the 3 days preceding my scheduled appointment and no one ever answered. I then receive an email telling me that I missed my appointment. Right.... I know... I tried calling. I responded to that email, again with no response. Fast forward to today when I realized I REALLY need contacts for an upcoming vacation. This resulted in 3 more phone calls that don't get answered. I do understand there may be staffing challenges that are prevalent in all industries, so if you're ok with some lack of responsiveness, the place is actually nice, otherwise I recommend finding somewhere else. read more

She not only dilated my husband's pupil but had a picture taken of his pupil. Among other test that were performed by a friendly staff member. Now I received notification that I was verbally abusive towards their staff and that they are no longer going to stand behind their warranty on the glasses I just purchased. They claimed lenses can only be dispensed in pairs. This is completely untrue. They only replaced the lense that fell out in a dark parking lot which I could not find. For which I was charged $248.00. They claimed that they were helping me. They also claimed that the price I was given was the patient price and that they could not extend insurance pricing to me, therefore they profited from their own error. I still do not understand why upon arrival from their lab initially that their associate removed my lense from the frame. They are claiming that the lab needed to remove the blank lense from my frame to put my prescription lense into it. Why on earth did their associate remove my screw from my frame after my glasses arrived from their lab? I watched them do it. The lense I lost was the same one they removed. It was not a lab issue it was an issue with Grand Optometry ability to replace the lense. I was given some bologna that they could not replace a single lense which is exactly what they did. They charged me another $248.00 for the lost lense as if it were my fault. To add insult to injury they claimed that I had been verbally abusive to their staff. This is completely untrue. I did raise my voice. They made me mad by charging me full price for glasses I had recently purchased and they would not even extend insurance pricing to me. I was willing to pay more initially because I thought they had higher quality control standards. read more

Now that I've found Grand Vision, I will NOT be going anywhere else. About a month ago, I had a terrible experience at a new corporate optical company, and somehow, I knew that something wasn't right... maybe it was the fact that I didn't have a physical doctor, and it was through a TV screen with a choppy internet connection? Who knows! ...so I scheduled an exam here at Grand Vision. I used their website to request an appointment, and I got a notification through email when my appointment was scheduled. The day before my exam, I also received a text message reminding me/ confirming my appointment day/ time. When you walk in, the staff is very friendly, the selection of glasses and sunglasses are vast, the layout is open and clean. There are also comfortable couches you can sit while you wait/ fill out any paperwork. They also offer small bottles of water. The entire exam process was straightforward, and both the tech and doctor were great. I love Dr. Wong! She has a great sense of humor, and she explains anything you need clarified or have questions about. When it comes to frame selection, they have it ALL! ...in my opinion, at least. They're one of the few places that have a lot of Men's frames, too; although, I think there are a lot of frames that are pretty unisex. They have a large variety of designer frames (Prada, Gucci, D&G, Chloe, Ferragamo, Tiffany, Longchamp, Marc Jacobs, etc.) as well as more affordable options, but I can tell you that their retail price on designer frames is much less than just about everywhere else I've looked. They also have a variety of sunglass frames, including Rayban and Spy. On select frames, they offer same day service, also. Oh! I can't forget to mention that they offer sales periodically. I got my second pair for 40% off the total, and I used that for sunglasses! They also do annual trunk sales, so look out for those, too! read more

I've been going here for years. They've always gave me a great customer experience and really good prices. Today, I was able to get some Oakley's glasses along with transitional lenses. In addition, I was able to keep the original lens. As a result, I was able to pop the lenses in the exact same pair I had bought previously. This saved me quite a bit of money because my Oakley's lenses get scratched up all the time. Resulting to me buying new Oakley's almost every year or two. With this new prescription, my lenses have a warranty for two years. Therefore, if they get scratch up, I can come in and exchange them. read more

Everyone at this office is very pleasant. I usually hop from one office to another every year but since I had a very pleasant experience last year, I decided to give them another try. And just as expected, everyone was warm and kind. The waiting area is really nice and spacious. The entire office was properly decorated. They have a good selection of glasses, although I usually use my own pairs. They provide water and there is a lot of parking available. It is also in a shopping plaza so you can definitely go and run errands before or after if you desire. It's nearby the freeway and easy to locate. They're near the store Five Guys. :) It was my first time working with Dr. Wong and I really enjoyed her demeanor, her helpfulness, and her knowledge about the questions I had. I stopped by at least once a month in the past 6 months and still couldn't find one. I found one but not the color I wanted, I had to pay $20 for shipping and waited for 2-3 weeks.
