I have had lots of tension on my shoulders and back area and she does a great job at loosening the tight knots and is able to find knots I didn't even think I had! After she works on those spots, the tension is greatly decreased and I am left feeling a whole lot better both physically and mentally. She also was the one that noticed the distinct length difference between my legs (my right leg was about 1 inch shorter than my left leg) and did some leg and hip work which was very much needed and suggested I get an adjustment at my chiropractor which made a world of a difference. She is very professional and always makes sure you are comfortable with the pressure of her massages and anything different she may be trying. Plus, the area is really cute and has a lot of neat shops and food places around and is lovely to walk around before/after your appointment! Graduate school and a lot of computer time has not been good for my neck and shoulders, but each visit to Amalia's has made my back healthy again! She maintains great pressure, and really gets at the areas where the muscles are tense and tight and where all of the knots are. I always walk out feeling like I have a longer neck and with no pain!
