When they first opened this was the spot but lately the service is getting horrible. I always have to wait and more than one ocasión they made me wait and ended up giving my order to someone else. This is on more than one occasion and when I did get my drink it wasn't even the right one. I don't know what is going on but I hope they fix it soon. read more

old Review forgot to post! first impression is it's busy, lots of people in the lobby (around 20) and about lots of workers running around. Lots of seating and the wifi is password protected for guests. Waited around 20 mins for my uber eats pickup order. Did not have my seasonal muffin, offered to replace with another pastry accepted the lemon loaf as a substitute. Snickerdoodle latte was bad it tasted like a vanilla latte. It was missing the cinnamon sugar on top so it just tastes like a really sweet vanilla latte. (2/5 not what i wanted) The only good thing was the Lemon loaf. It is moist and not too sweet, similar texture to a pound cake. I ordered the seasonal muffin tho. (5/5 not pumpkin but i really loved it) The waffle sandwich has a bunch of nasty burnt bits but i just plucked them off. waffle is a bit crumbly but moist and very sweet, needs a smidge more salt. (2/5 filled me up but the burnt bits were off putting and i didn't really enjoy it) read more

One of the few places that serves my favorite drink: iced lavender matcha latte with oat milk. I've been a long-time fan of Better Buzz since living in San Diego, and I'm so glad they're expanding more and more to OC! The drive thru makes it all too easy to grab my favorite treat before work. In short it's a worse and more expensive alternative to Starbucks. I'm not even a Starbucks fan but it's definitely better than this. Download the better buzz app first for a free sign up drink to be the judge yourself with no financial commitment. I had high hopes for this place. I went 3 different times to try as much overall to determine if there's anything worth getting. The first trip, I ordered the "best drink ever" and was recommended to get half sweet. It tasted like watered down coffee. 0 flavor. Also had the snickerdoodle ice latte no adjustments. It was overly sweet and wasn't exactly the snickerdoodle taste I was looking for which is a shame because I love snickerdoodle cookies. The second trip I ordered the horchata latte with sweet cream because it was sold out opening day and I didn't really get Horchata taste I was hoping for. I couldn't finish this drink. The last and final trip I ordered the waffle and better breakfast sandwiches. For the waffle to be named sweet heat and not have the slightest bit of heat was disappointing and misleading. The waffle was also burned. The better breakfast sandwich the flavor again lacking. The pretzel bun on this sandwich unless you told me it was a pretzel bun I wouldn't be able to tell it was. It seemed closer to a brioche than pretzel. Both these for the price of pretty much 10$ each I cannot recommend. For the drinks I got a pretty basic drink, an iced vanilla bean latte made with their in house syrup with vanilla sweet cream. No sweetness adjustments but it so bland and lacking any hint of vanilla or flavor in general. I also got a can of their original energy drink but I haven't drank it yet so I can't comment on it. Was let down each time. The service wasn't bad but they also had an army of workers which I feel is likely unsustainable long term. As for ambiance it wasn't what I expected as least not from a coffee shop. The music is pretty loud and so is the energy from workers. I'll never be back read more

Yay! Glad they brought his San Diego staple to Fullerton. It's so great to have an open before 7am drive thru coffee spot that's not Starbucks in the area. Staff was so friendly and well prepared for a busy opening. I didn't have to wait long. Plenty of seating inside including bar top and comfy benches with ample outlets, wifi and water dispenser. Can't wait to come back to study. Yes, the coffee and sandwhiches are overpriced, what coffee place isn't but it's better quality than Starbucks. I would like to see a healthy sandwhich option in the future but the selection is great for now! read more

I always order the "Black buzz caramel with chocolate covered coffee beans" its about $8 or so and has little to no milk which is wonderful because I am not going to a coffee shop for milk but want the caffeine (coffee, cold brew or espresso). I have tried 3 other items and I always go back to this blended concoction. I have still not successfully joined their rewards program after attempts. The staff is always friendly and the ambiance is great. Although I always get my drink and snack to go, they do not give off the vibe that this is a grab and go shop. It feels comfortable and welcoming to sit and enjoy your goodies if you have the time and so choose to. read more

**FOOD (ALLERGIC TO DAIRY)** 1. ACAI BOWL - ISLANDER : "Organic acai topped with vanilla almond granola, fresh berries, bananas, and shredded coconut." I enjoyed this; A sweet fruit bowl for fairly standard acai price at $11.99 USD. Next time, I want to put almond butter and try their other acai topping options like bee pollen, jam, and cocoa nibs. 2. REGULAR HORCHATA ICED LATTE: "Sweetened cinnamon rice milk made in house with a splash of almond milk and ice. Topped with espresso and cinnamon sugar". This drink is easily my favorite drink on the whole menu. Firstly, it's made with almond milk so I don't have to worry about the threat of an allergic reaction as much as I would for other drinks. Then I really like the sweet flavor of the almond milk horchata as I progress further into my drink. I'm glad that my enjoyment for this drink is consistent between this location and the one that I started with back in San Marcos, CA. 3. LARGE UBE MATCHA w/o UBE COLD CREAM: "Matcha with ube syrup. Topped with an ube cold cream and ube powder". This is the their limited menu drink, I was told it's only available for the first 30 days after the grand opening. Unfortunately, my dairy allergy makes it impossible to enjoy with the cold cream topping so I can't really know how it was intended to taste. That being said, I sadly didn't enjoy the taste of this drink. I couldn't taste the ube flavor and the matcha tasted watered down. **SERVICE** Really quick, got my order completed in less than 10 minutes. They did mess up one of my drinks because of the cold foam but that was very swiftly replaced. The cashier girl at the time was unable to add a note to my order to let other baristas know of my dairy allergy so she told another barista during check-out. Maybe something the register/till UI techs behind the scenes can implement? In terms of the drive-thru, they had at least two staff to take orders outside the cafe in anticipation for the grand opening. I'm hoping it is just as efficient in the coming months. **AMBIANCE** The interior is very simple, not super distracting. Eating/drinking areas are super easy to navigate and there's enough room at the order pick-up if there were a queue of online orders. Plenty of entrances & exits so you can just go in from anywhere, sit down, order a drink, and study. Quick shoutouts to the grand opening mascot, Jesus, and the district manager, Jose, for approaching & talking to me while I was taking these photos. My new favorite coffee place in Fullerton! I have nothing but great things to say about the coffee and staff here. Staff is incredibly hard working and kind. They were open for new year and I had not realized they closed early and the staff was so understanding kind when I ended up being the last one to leave. Coffee is absolutely amazing and don't be discouraged by the crowd here as it is absolutely indicative of the quality of coffee and staff here! Plus, the staff move so fast so the wait is not as long as it may initially seem. So excited for this to be my new go to coffee place in Fullerton! There is plenty of indoor space to study or do work here. They have outlets throughout for your devices.
