I've fell in love with better buzzed ever since my college years & I've been in love ever since. When I was told a new location in of will be opening closer to home I was beyond excited! The food, drinks and overall aesthetic were amazing. The baristas had such a huge smile on their face and were very kind. However... when I walked in I was greeted by a gentleman with a mobile device with a pink shirt Ready to take my order. Although the rest of my experience was great, he was not. And the main reason for my 1 star review. During my interaction it seemed as if me ordering my drink was bother to him. While I tried to place my order he was so focused on welcoming everyone in to the store, it felt as the customer in front of him (me) did not matter. He tried to speed through my order with no friendly demeanor. Keep in mind there was only one person behind me in line during my visit. He even told the whole team while taking my order "team, I can't be the only one welcoming people in" this insinuated to me that he must be a supervisor or manager. Butter buzzed you've WOWed me since 2019 and I've been in love with your coffee and outstanding customer since. So please note that this was the most disappointing visit I've had. read more

My family has been wanting to try this new store since we drive to Laguna Hills all the time. My sister is obsessed with the better breakfast and the conscious chocolate. We came in on Sunday night so it wasn't busy. With the cold weather starting, my mom tried the Mexican hot chocolate. We had a young lady named, Monze, helping us at the register. She told us the drink tasted exactly like a chocolate abuelita and she was not wrong. The drink was delicious and tasted like she said. My mom had to order a second one because she liked it so much. We are definitely coming back here. The store is so calm inside but a little cold. The service was very friendly too and made us feel welcome the second we walked in. The employees all smile and seem so happy to be there. Thanks Monze! We definitely found our coffee joint ! read more

The spot took over the old Starbucks so I thought I'd give it a try considering how busy it gets. Must be popular since there's always a line midday. Monze helped me out at the register and she recommended the hazelnut divinity with oat milk and something like cinnamon foam on top. It was on the sweeter side so I'd adjust the sweetness a little. Came in with my family so we all tried something different . She was extremely friendly and patient. She answered all of our questions and knew the food through and through. If you're looking for a new coffee spot then look no further. Make sure to ask for monze ! read more

I made a special trip to Better Buzz because the IG ads got me tempting me to order the eggnog latte. I have been waiting to find one ever since Starbucks removed it from their menu years ago. When I went to order, I was told they were already out of eggnog and I was crushed. As an alternative, I settled for the holiday/peppermint version of the best drink ever. When my drink was called, I asked the barista how early I need to come next time to get the eggnog latte. He seemed surprised when I mentioned them being out and said they had gotten more from the back. This is where the 5 stars comes in...he offered to have one made for me on the house and I can't tell you what a nice offer that was. Honestly it made my morning and it was the drink I have been looking for for years! It was so yummy and I will definitely be back for more while it is in rotation. I only wish I had gotten the barista's name as he was a reminder that there are still people out there with excellent customer service skills! I also tried the guava croissant and it was a yummy treat. read more

I was trying to get my online order which I placed at 9:00am. I got to the coffee shop around 9:10 thinking my coffee was ready. I asked a barista if mine was ready they said they made in-store purchases before they even make online??!!! It took 30 MINUTES to get my order! That's insane i was so late for work!!!! The coffee tasted like 7/11 coffee. I thought I would like it but I DID NOT read more

Great service! We appreciate Stephanie B and the staff for the great and welcoming experience

I wanted to try the iced matcha latte here since their other locations made it well. However, it wasn't as good here unfortunately. There wasn't enough matcha so I couldn't really taste the matcha flavor as much if at all. The color of the drink was really light as well which could explain why the drink mainly tasted like sweetened milk. The service was good and quick though. I'd definitely come back to get their other drinks! read more

I'm not a coffee drinker but the caramel buzz (frosted blend) was delicious! The food items are all good, including the three seed avocado toast and acai bowl. Outstanding service and a cheerful staff in an inviting and fun atmosphere. Starbucks will have trouble competing with Better Buzz. read more

Never had Better Buzz coffee before but was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Their food options were so good as well, definitely recommend getting the "Better Breakfast" and "Cheese Danish". The customer service on top of that was amazing and felt very welcomed upon entering. Will definitely be coming back. 10/10 overall experience! read more

the place is amazing, the coffee and food tastes delicious. And Jaz gave me and my friend great service, made the experience there so much better read more

Chaotic, loud music, busy....my heart was racing after I left. If you're looking for a chill cafe or a place to study, talk, relax...this is not it. Their drinks are good but a lot of sugar and calories. Took me 30 min to find the place bc it is not located in the main part of the plaza and the phone # doesn't work when I tried to call them. read more

Awesome experience! Great vibe! Cute decor! Team was very helpful. Super busy but they were staffed and ready to take orders. Line went quickly. Best drink ever really was the best. The Nutella croissant was delicious. Highly recommend checking this place out!!!! Say hi to the friendly Bee on the corner and if you have a dog they have pup cups for your furry friends. read more

oh my, Savannah assisted me today during my experience! she greeted me with a warm smile, regardless of how many back to back people she helped before me, making me feel welcomed. she also gave me a suggestion of adding lavender to my honey latte and now im ADDICTED!! read more

The coffee itself was mediocre, and you can certainly get better coffee elsewhere- what truly bothered me was the customer service. The baristas spent a long time talking with the guest in front of me, who seemed to be their friend. I'm all for chatting, but I was left there waiting for them to finish their conversation before I could order. Once I began to order, the barista was noticeably less friendly towards myself than they had been with their friend, which was a bit awkward. They cut me off and concluded the transaction before I could even order a pastry, which was not ideal. I then went and sat down, but decided I wanted to try to order the pastry after all. However, the person in front of me in line was given all of the pastries, and I don't even know that they paid for them? And seemed to be another one of the barista's friends, or a regular? I asked if that was it for the pastries for the day, and the barista who had previously taken my order said "yeah...", and another barista was the one to apologize to me. It was incredibly awkward, and just overall poor customer service. I won't be coming back for coffee, there's a ton of kinder, more pleasant coffee shops in the area :/ read more

First time trying better buzz! A small shop with a super cute environment and honey bee theme. Went in on a Saturday morning around 8:30am. I didn't wait and walked right up to the register and immediately there was 4-5 people in line behind me. They have outdoor seating with plenty of pup owners outside. Very clean. And very well staffed and very friendly service. I ordered the cinnamon cream cold brew with almond milk. Great tasting coffee, I didn't ask for additional details on how sweet it was, and I should have. I personally would have preferred it a little less sweet, because of the caramel drizzle at the bottom--so if you don't have a sweet tooth I recommend asking if you can make any modifications. They were pumping out in house and mobile orders like crazy, the pick up end had like 10-15 orders ready. My order came out in less than 5 min. I was expecting to wait a while with how busy they were. I was super excited to order the chili crunch breakfast wrap but unfortunately the entire center of the hash brown was completely frozen still. I'm not mad about it, honest mistake, they're new shop, with young staff, and probably still working out the kinks and I respect the hustle of them trying to get orders out quick. Maybe ask for the hasbrown well done if you order it! I ate around the hash brown with a side of avocado, and it was great. Pastries looked great too! They had a big and diverse menu which I appreciated. I'll definitely be back read more

the food was so good and the desserts were unbelievable great customer service everyone was very friendly
