We had BOGO 1/2 half off drink coupons on the app, so we decided to come in! Boy was this place slammed on a very busy Sunday. The team behind the bar was absolutely crushed it! I saw how many cups they had lined up on the counter and the two baristas they had on the bar (Meg and Paola) were cranking these drinks out as quick as they could. Trendy fun coffee shops but it's super loud (music is on full blast), so it's hard to have a convo or do any work there unless you're sitting outside. A lady next to me asked if they could lower the volume and they said they couldn't (??). Anyways, it's fine if you wanna grab a quick coffee and leave. Their space is set up great for remote working with plenty of outlets and spaces, but the volume makes it intolerable. Quality is similar to other Better Buzzes (I frequent LJ, PB, and Mission bay), but this seems so much louder. read more

First, I'll say that I'm not a person that complains & I've never asked to "speak to the manager." I stopped in here because I wanted a quick to go drink before I needed to meet my ride. No customers in line & several people working - standing around talking. After 10 mins of waiting & asking TWICE about my order, I had to leave without my drink because my ride arrived. My wife loves Better Buzz, so we stopped in to get her favorite drink while I got that coconut buzz, which has 3 shots, which one of the reasons I get that particular drink. Was disappointed as I waited awhile to get my drink and saw that they only put 2 shots instead of 3, but since we were running late to get somewhere I didn't say anything. The drink itself was still good but disappointed that they were not honest enough to say anything about it. Maybe the next time we visit they will get my order right. read more

If you like a Strong Coffee taste, then get this Moroccan Spice Ice coffee . My Son's PINK DRAGON SMOOTHIE was so Flavorful and so Fruity. And for our Sandwiches, my TURKEY PESTO was good, but I hope that next time there is more PESTO on it please. For my son's BETTER BREAKFAST Sandwich, it is simple, but good. Loved stopping here! It's a great little coffee shop, with multiple locations, this one is super nice with a very open floor plan, naturally flows to the back. I will say there isn't a lot of seating but there is both indoor and outdoor tables. I love the decor, very simple but fun at the same time. I would definitely say it's a nice place to just relax, study, read, catch up with friends, coffee date, etc. service was 10/10, very nice and quick with orders which was good as they were pretty busy! The drinks and food are great. The problem is the staff. I made a mistake with my family's drinks and asked for a new one. I own that it was totally my mistake and they did make new drinks but they were incredibly rude and put out by it. Two of the employees were so rude that they even glared at me and shook their heads and rolled their eyes! So very unprofessional! Yes I messed up but there was no need to be rude. Coffee is great. Service is slow and they seem to not make drinks in the order it was placed. It seems iced drinks take preference over hot drinks. I ordered two hot drinks and waited over 15 minutes just to get one drink and then waited an additional 15 minutes to get my second drink which was a hot, black Killer Bee (coffee+espresso) which should be the easiest and quickest drink to make. I had to ask the barista a few times on the status of my Killer Bee and she would respond with "it's in process." All the while, iced drinks were being made and delivered rapidly. We spent almost a hour from standing in line to place the order until the moment we received our drinks. The coffee is not that great to wait that long!! read more

I went in for a latte today around noon after my run and a beautiful spirited handsome young man helped me check out. My drink came out in less than two minutes . I had no idea Better Buzz was opening a location in Coronado until I just so happened to see a Reel on Instagram promoting the grand opening! Lucky for me I was already in Coronado at the time, so I decided to stop by on my way home from the beach. It's in a great location right off Orange Ave. a couple blocks from the Hotel Del and the beach. It's actually a pretty big space too, with lots of tables and booth seating and a nice open-air environment. I can definitely see myself coming here to do some work or studying on a sunny day. The drink quality is very consistent with other Better Buzz locations, and the baristas that helped me were super quick and friendly. There is also a clean bathroom for use in the back. read more

I've been a better buzz customer for 2 years now. Up until now I went to the Hillcrest location and always got the chai latte with oat milk. I was excited to see that they opened a location in Coronado. Unfortunately, I have ordered their chai latte twice and both times the chai mix was not mixed so it was very lumpy (+ the first time they gave me milk instead of oat milk). That has never happened to me before and it happened to me twice at this specific location. They always remake it which I appreciate but I would like to not have them remake my drink, and just do it the proper way the first time around. I have also ordered their avocado toast, which I used to have at the Hillcrest location (and really liked). The one in Coronado was just lacking. The bread tasted stale (most likely from the day before) and the avocado spread was very, very thin and it had no salt or seasoning. I am disappointed by this new location. read more

My favorite location so far in San Diego! Cute spot everything is very aesthetic and picture worthy at every corner. There is a bunch of street parking and it is located at the end of orange street. A few blocks away from the hotel Del! There's an outdoor and indoor seating! Really good place to work or study out of. They always play the best music and everyone is so nice. The service here was extremely terrible especially by the girls making the coffee 5/21/24- 3:30 (manager or owner can find out who the attitudes are) Guy rang me up. I requested an iced vanilla latte with almond milk. They made it with oat because the ticket was oat milk which was not my error it was the person ringing me up. What is more upsetting was the rude and attitude faces I received when I asked them to remake it since they didn't offer. Why the attitude? I tipped $3? Why? I tipped because I thought i would receive respectful service. The girls looked at me with such disgust and my drink went in the trash . I don't trust that they remade it.
