Cute interior with only 2 chairs at the pick up bar, so it's really a grab and go place. Turkish delights are $10/ "roll", but each roll is cut differently so some are longer than others. Got the marshmallow pistachio raspberry delight (6/10). It's great if you have never had a Turkish delight before, but as someone who's had the real stuff, it's too sweet and the texture is just not quite there. They also have the viral cakes

So much Dubai chocolate!!

Walked in and the place was clean but empty. The girl behind the counter greeted me and answered all my questions because I wanted to know what EVERYTHING was. If you wanted Dubai chocolate - they had it. SO many variations. The walnut baklava, pistachio, and hazelnut were each worth trying. Really sweet and perfectly crunchy- just like a great baklava should be! Next time I'll try the "cheese" cake. I was cracking up just looking at it.

Location is very good located in seaport village. One of the few spots that had drinks especially with all the shopping. The drinks are nothing to write home about, got their mocha, baklava latte, lemonade and ice coffee. For a hot day lemonade and ice coffee did its job. Bumping up one star because they sell baklava treats, Turkish delights and others that is hard to find. Those desserts were good!

Dubai chocolates and strawberry angel hair chocolate

Very nice gentleman attending the counter! He explained what all the treats were. It was hard to choose, so I'll most likely be back to get some more before I leave. The outside is cute, the interior is chill vibes, quick service, and they have drink options like coffee, tea, and lemonade. Perfect for a hot day!

First Time at this cafe and I'm Sate! The Barista was so friendly I was asking for her recommendation because it was my first time and didn't know what to get in a Artisanal Turkish Cafe. It was Halloween night so I needed a Coffee so I'm Glad I stoped here ! It's so Pretty inside so many different kind of Pastries. I Don't Think it's Over priced. She made me an Iced Vanilla Latte with oat milk & Vanilla Cold Foam it was Perfect! I did ask her name but I had a long night I totally forgot ! But she was so nice she got busy while I was there and she made sure to attend to all her customers. Even a family that was there and their little boy was having a hard time choosing a dessert. She made sure to multitask and attend other customers while still giving attention to me the family and other customers. Really love it here I will totally make this place my to go spot when I come to seaport !(:

My husband and I were craving some dessert after stopping by last week's Dockside night market and stumbled upon this cafe! This was both her first time here but it was very enticing to try their Dubai strawberry cup. They also have a variety of very cute and well crafted pastries and desserts. My husband was hoping to order an espresso but unfortunately their expresso machine was broken. We did wait quite some time in line and there's only two people in front of us so that was a bit frustrating, maybe they are still trying to figure out their workflow, cuz it cashier's all the one making all the drinks and bringing out all the food. Anyways we did try the Dubai Strawberry Cup and it was amazing! Essentially it's chocolate covered strawberries with also some pistachio to buy chocolate swirl mixed in. It was amazing great and refreshing dessert that we got to while watching sunset at seaport.

The Baklava latte had strong notes of rosewater - nice to sip on during a breezy summer day!

Spill the Beans has completely ruined every other coffee shop for me…read more I'm here every single morning, and there's a reason. The bagels are larger, fluffier, and have this perfect subtle sweetness -- rumor has it they're boiled in agave syrup, and honestly, it shows. The Lox, Stock & Bagel hits different when the bagel itself is this good, and the McLovin is worth every bite too. The rotating selection keeps it fresh enough that I genuinely look forward to switching it up. Then there's the Basic Sitch -- don't let the name fool you. Best Caramel Macchiato I've had anywhere. Period. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out. And if you have, you already know.

Parking is a bit of a pain bit of you are in waking distance or come early enough it shouldn't be an issue. Sometimes they run out of items if you come later in the day. They have a special Bagel of the month, so make sure to ask what it is. They have several bagel flavors, and different flavor cream cheese spreads. I love the habanero bagel, it's one of my favorites, but just be warned it is very hot. Definitely don't eat it without something cold to drink. They also have a breakfast sandwich called the San Diego which is a favorite of several people I know. You chose the bagel you want it with and they add fried eggs, bacon, cheese and aioli. I highly reccomend it. I've not had a lot of their deinis, but i did order the cinna-bee which has honey, cinnamon, espresso and milk. I thought it was good and would order it again. Definitely check them out and try some of their bagels, or perhaps one of their sandwiches.

Finally got to try this cute Japanese cafe we saw on TikTok, and it did not disappoint!…read more Service: [5/5] The two girls who helped us were so sweet and made the whole experience. We were seated at the bar, which ended up being such a vibe--we got to chat with the girl behind the bar and watch her make lattes and desserts right in front of us. That kind of interaction really sets this place apart. Price: [4.5/5] It's on the pricier side, but honestly it feels fair given the quality of food you're getting. You can taste where your money is going. Food/Drinks: [5/5] Matcha Latte -- We shared one, extra sweet at my request, and it was perfect. Exactly what I was hoping for. Chef Soichi's Karaage -- We had this as an appetizer and my boyfriend made a point to say this is the closest he's had to traditional Japanese karaage. High praise from someone who's passionate about his Japanese culture. Hayashi Omurice -- This is their most popular dish and it's easy to see why. The demi-glaze has a really unique flavor that ties the whole dish together beautifully. This was my pick and I'd order it again without hesitation. Guratan -- My boyfriend's order, and it was incredibly creamy and delicious. We were both too stuffed for dessert by the end, which says a lot about the portion sizes. Ambience: [5/5] The restaurant is small, but honestly that's part of what makes it so charming. Pink everywhere with wooden accents and cherry blossoms throughout (very fitting)--it's cozy, homey, and just really well put together. The intimate size adds to the appeal rather than taking away from it. Overall Experience: [5/5] Hatsuzakara was such a wonderful first experience. Yes, we waited about 30 minutes to be seated arriving at 7:30 on a Friday night but for a waitlist-only spot this small, that's actually a pretty reasonable wait by San Diego standards. The food, the atmosphere, and the staff more than made up for it. Already looking forward to coming back to try the curry and work through their dessert menu.

This Japanese restaurant is so cute and pretty!! The servers also add to the Japanese vibe~…read more The menu is pretty easy to navigate. I feel like everything looked really good, so it was hard to decide what to order. The dishes have small portion size despite the price. I think this kinda helps in that you have room to eat dessert! The brown sugar Okinawa tea was good but the after taste of the sugar was not good. They kept the tea pot warm, and they served oat milk on the side. Karaage had too much chicken skin for my preference. Guratan was penne pasta and not macaroni as specified in the menu. Yakisoba could have used more chicken. Omurice had the more flavor and the egg was really good. I want to try naporitan next time because of the tomato based sauce. Of the desserts I tried, the parfait was most enjoyable because of the fruit with ice cream. The mushi pudding was good; it was the thick and "hard" type of flan. I want to try kakigori next time because I saw their shaved ice machine was legit. Parking - free street parking only. Be prepared to walk up/downhill. Credit card/apple pay accepted Bathroom is only one room in the back. THE SEAT IS WARM. This was a nice gem to find in this part of town.
