It was our first time at Better Buzz and Chris was so helpful when we were deciding what to get! The pastries and drinks we got were amazing! Great environment, great coffee!! read more

They're so nice and the matcha was amazing! Definitely a must visit if you ever come to this area. The atmosphere and vibes are a 10 out of 10. read more

Very cute atmosphere and indoor decor, but the drinks themselves aren't very tasty. The iced horchata doesn't take like horchata (more like iced coffee), and the smoothie took 15 minutes to make. Cute place, but there's better coffee out there. read more

It took a millions years to get my iced coffee with barely anyone in the coffee shop. Looks like they might be severely understaffed for a holiday weekend? Only one person at register and one person making food and coffee - come on management! ...place itself is funky and trendy mint iced coffee was good read more

My coffee tasted like when you get into bed and the comforter is really cold‍Chris is a great barista

Chris is the reason to come to Better Buzz. Remembers orders and names. Just awesome.

Iced Hazelnut Divinity was amazing. Chili crunch breakfast wrap with side of avocado had just the right amount of spice. Service was great. You know it's good when there's a line. Enjoy. read more

Chris gave amazing service, honestly 10/10. Super friendly, welcoming, and had such great energy from the moment we walked in. He was attentive, helpful, and made the whole experience even better. It's always nice when someone clearly enjoys their job and treats customers so well. Definitely one of the best service experiences I've had here. Thank you, Chris! read more

Burnt coffee, and bitter draws for both the latte and cappuccino. Microfoam was agitated milk. Threw the two drinks as they were disgustingly awful. A true first , that espresso drinks were so bad that I had to dispose of them. Cashier was no help, could not even get the names right let alone correct the issue. read more

Excellent service. Highly recommended, very clean and they always make sure your order is correct.

$24 including tip for one toasted turkey pesto sandwich for sharing and 2 coffee drinks. Nice decor and outdoor seating on Orange Avenue near the Del Coronado Hotel. Everything tasted good. read more

I decided to give this place another shot because I absolutely hate leaving awful reviews, especially with the places as popular as this one. I tried to get more recommendations on coffee spots in the area and every one just pointed at Better Buzz. I really didn't wanna come back due to the experience I had earlier in the week but my gut (not my clients ) told me to go back. I do have to say that girls in the evening are a lot nicer and more pleasant than the ones in the morning. I ordered a "Caramel Vanilla best drink ever" It was actually pretty good! Fantastic alternative than that popular chain coffee shop . Would I recommend this spot to others? Based on the service I received the second time, Absolutely. I probably would have brought it to the attention of the ladies in the morning had they been a little more approachable Thank you Better Buzz Coffee. I will be back next time I'm in town read more

Great service! Chris is amazing!! Can't recommend enough. Definitely will be coming back

Had the iced horchata latte and hot matcha. Drinks were average and service was unfriendly.

Chris provided personalized exceptional service, to just me, a tourist. Although you would never know as he treats everyone as a regular. He truly is invested in his customers and giving them the best - including recommendations to great things nearby. 'The best one' coffee was truly the delicious and perfect in every way! I even came back after my walk along the beach for a separate drink. Thanks Chris and Better Buzz Coffee! read more

Listen... I don't even know where to begin. I walked into Better Buzz expecting a normal coffee experience. What I got was basically a cinematic masterpiece starring Jay. First off, the man levitated my latte over to me. Didn't hand it. Didn't slide it. Just... hovered it across the counter like some kind of caffeinated Jedi. I asked for almond milk and I SWEAR I saw him summon the almonds from thin air, whisper an ancient espresso chant, and then squeeze them by hand in under three seconds. Then things got wilder. The moment I took a sip, the shop filled with the sound of distant seagulls and I was instantly transported to a beach in 1994. Jay was there too, wearing sunglasses and riding a dolphin, don't ask me how, it just happened. He told me "Good coffee isn't made... it's manifested" before disappearing into a cloud of cinnamon powder. When I came to, my drink was still warm, my soul was healed, and my phone had gained 20% battery. I don't know if Jay is human, but I do know this: Better Buzz is now my church, and Jay is my caffeine priest. read more

We love coming here whenever we're in town! Lindsey is always so helpful and kind :) drinks are always amazing, vibes are great, 10/10

The morning began like a secret gift from the universe. I woke to soft golden light spilling across my room, the sound of distant waves brushing the shore. The Coronado air felt different that day--fresh, almost electric. I pulled myself from the sheets, a quiet sense of anticipation in my chest, though I couldn't explain why. Better Buzz Coffee was calling. The walk there was gentle and slow, the palm trees swaying overhead, sunlight dancing off the pastel houses along Orange Avenue. The smell of salt mixed with the faint aroma of espresso drifting through the air as I approached the shop. The door chimed softly as I stepped inside. That's when I saw him. Jay. He was behind the counter, laughing with a coworker, his smile warm enough to rival the Coronado sun. There was a calm confidence about him--like he belonged to the rhythm of this little coffee shop, like every latte and every laugh was part of a quiet art he'd mastered. When he turned to take my order, our eyes met. It wasn't cinematic in the over-the-top way--no slow-motion, no dramatic music--just a simple, steady moment where the world seemed to pause. "Morning," he said, his voice carrying a softness that lingered. I ordered my drink--though I barely remembered the words--and lingered by the counter, watching him work. There was something about the way he moved, focused yet effortless, like he was pouring a piece of himself into every cup. When he handed me my drink, our fingers brushed. A spark. A tiny, unexpected thing that settled deep in my chest. I sat by the window, sipping slowly, watching sunlight spill across the wooden tables, catching glimpses of Jay in the reflection of the glass. I told myself it was just a morning, just a cup of coffee. But deep down, I knew better. Because some mornings aren't just mornings. Some shops aren't just shops. And sometimes, you walk into a place for caffeine--and leave with the start of something much sweeter. read more
