Great coffee spot! Order online if you can, because it's busy all the time, unless you're not in a rush and are ok with waiting. The food looked good too, but didn't try anything. read more

Trendy fun coffee shops but it's super loud (music is on full blast), so it's hard to have a convo or do any work there unless you're sitting outside. A lady next to me asked if they could lower the volume and they said they couldn't (??). Anyways, it's fine if you wanna grab a quick coffee and leave. Their space is set up great for remote working with plenty of outlets and spaces, but the volume makes it intolerable. Quality is similar to other Better Buzzes (I frequent LJ, PB, and Mission bay), but this seems so much louder. read more

My wife loves Better Buzz, so we stopped in to get her favorite drink while I got that coconut buzz, which has 3 shots, which one of the reasons I get that particular drink. Was disappointed as I waited awhile to get my drink and saw that they only put 2 shots instead of 3, but since we were running late to get somewhere I didn't say anything. The drink itself was still good but disappointed that they were not honest enough to say anything about it. Maybe the next time we visit they will get my order right. read more

Loved stopping here! It's a great little coffee shop, with multiple locations, this one is super nice with a very open floor plan, naturally flows to the back. I will say there isn't a lot of seating but there is both indoor and outdoor tables. I love the decor, very simple but fun at the same time. I would definitely say it's a nice place to just relax, study, read, catch up with friends, coffee date, etc. service was 10/10, very nice and quick with orders which was good as they were pretty busy! Overall, the coffee was really good, I can't say it was better than any other coffee I've had but it was still delicious, much needed, and worth it! read more

While driving in CORONADO yesterday, I spotted this very Familiar coffee shop that I always stop by in LA JOLLA . I told my husband to make a turn 'coz because I thought that I saw " BETTER BUZZ COFFEE " . We went back and I was right, there is a BETTER BUZZ in CORONADO now. I ordered the following: * MOROCCAN SPICE ICED COFFEE LARGE - espresso , muddled mint , row natural cane sugar & cream * PINK DRAGON SMOOTHIE - pitaya , strawberries, banana , apple juice , bee pollen * BETTER BREAKFAST - cage free egg , havarti , bacon , arugula , garlic aioli on a toasted pretzel bun * TURKEY PESTO - turkey , mozzarella, pesto aioli on sourdough The process of our order was quick. I shared with my husband since I didn't want to get too full coz' we had a dinner reservation in the area still. As always, Better Buzz never fail to make a good drink . If you like a Strong Coffee taste, then get this Moroccan Spice Ice coffee . My Son's PINK DRAGON SMOOTHIE was so Flavorful and so Fruity. And for our Sandwiches, my TURKEY PESTO was good, but I hope that next time there is more PESTO on it please. For my son's BETTER BREAKFAST Sandwich, it is simple, but good. The place is nice, not big, but it is nice. I do not know how crowded this place would look during rush hours but when we were there , it had a good seating areas indoors and outdoors . We like this place, and we are Retired so we are always here in Coronado dining at the restaurants or when my son plays Golf inside the Naval Base, so this BETTER BUZZ COFFEE here in Coronado will always be one of our stops for coffee or refreshments. read more

To the woman screaming people's names on 07/0624 at approximately noon: The way you end names in the most high pitched tone is earth shattering. You seem like a nice lady but I was dying to leave and dreading each time you called out a name. Please stop SCREAMING. It is the worst pitch in the entire world. I am so enraged typing this right now I don't know how corporate hasn't had to intervene yet. Please. For the love of god. Get somebody else doing this. Anybody but her. Food was good tho. Coffee was good tho. read more

I had no idea Better Buzz was opening a location in Coronado until I just so happened to see a Reel on Instagram promoting the grand opening! Lucky for me I was already in Coronado at the time, so I decided to stop by on my way home from the beach. It's in a great location right off Orange Ave. a couple blocks from the Hotel Del and the beach. It's actually a pretty big space too, with lots of tables and booth seating and a nice open-air environment. I can definitely see myself coming here to do some work or studying on a sunny day. The drink quality is very consistent with other Better Buzz locations, and the baristas that helped me were super quick and friendly. There is also a clean bathroom for use in the back. read more

I've been a better buzz customer for 2 years now. Up until now I went to the Hillcrest location and always got the chai latte with oat milk. I was excited to see that they opened a location in Coronado. Unfortunately, I have ordered their chai latte twice and both times the chai mix was not mixed so it was very lumpy (+ the first time they gave me milk instead of oat milk). That has never happened to me before and it happened to me twice at this specific location. They always remake it which I appreciate but I would like to not have them remake my drink, and just do it the proper way the first time around. I have also ordered their avocado toast, which I used to have at the Hillcrest location (and really liked). The one in Coronado was just lacking. The bread tasted stale (most likely from the day before) and the avocado spread was very, very thin and it had no salt or seasoning. I am disappointed by this new location. read more

My favorite location so far in San Diego! Cute spot everything is very aesthetic and picture worthy at every corner. There is a bunch of street parking and it is located at the end of orange street. A few blocks away from the hotel Del! There's an outdoor and indoor seating! Really good place to work or study out of. They always play the best music and everyone is so nice. There new coconut Matcha drink is summer in a cup! They also make the drinks really fast so it's worth waiting in line for! Everything is super clean especially their bathroom. read more

Pros: a good assortment of pastries that were surprisingly good. Also, the employees were very kind, and the environment was upbeat. Cons: the coffee was nothing to note. I ordered a large medium roast coffee and it was very watery. We did not go back for coffee but we did end up returning for a pastry. read more

I am not a fan of writing bad reviews but unfortunately today my review is going to be bad. First, and last time I'll come here. The service here was extremely terrible especially by the girls making the coffee 5/21/24- 3:30 (manager or owner can find out who the attitudes are) Guy rang me up. I requested an iced vanilla latte with almond milk. They made it with oat because the ticket was oat milk which was not my error it was the person ringing me up. What is more upsetting was the rude and attitude faces I received when I asked them to remake it since they didn't offer. Why the attitude? I tipped $3? Why? I tipped because I thought i would receive respectful service. The girls looked at me with such disgust and my drink went in the trash . I don't trust that they remade it. I'm allergic to oats hence the reason I asked for almond milk. read more

First, I'll say that I'm not a person that complains & I've never asked to "speak to the manager." I stopped in here because I wanted a quick to go drink before I needed to meet my ride. No customers in line & several people working - standing around talking. After 10 mins of waiting & asking TWICE about my order, I had to leave without my drink because my ride arrived. I don't recommend. Can't speak on the quality of the products because the service was so disappointing. read more

Loved the best drink ever. A little sweet but still really good coffee. My partner loved the cold brew as well.

Dropped I. For a quick breakfast. Drip coffee, breakfast Sammy's and a yogurt fruit bowl. Portion size is just right. Service is kind and fast. Sat outside so we could watch the world go by. read more

Better Buzz has done great coffee. I always get them half sweet, which is perfect for me. Favorite is probably the Mexican Mocha, although Snickerdoodle is good, too, and can never go wrong with an iced latte. Have been to the Pt. Loma one several times, but the first time to this one in Coronado. Love that it opens every day at 5 am. Great vibe, comfy padded bench seating (hate the hard chairs often found at coffee shops), cool music. Definitely recommend! read more

The drinks and food are great. The problem is the staff. I made a mistake with my family's drinks and asked for a new one. I own that it was totally my mistake and they did make new drinks but they were incredibly rude and put out by it. Two of the employees were so rude that they even glared at me and shook their heads and rolled their eyes! So very unprofessional! Yes I messed up but there was no need to be rude. Be kind, make the drinks and roll your eyes out of customers' sight. Rude! read more

Coffee is great. Service is slow and they seem to not make drinks in the order it was placed. It seems iced drinks take preference over hot drinks. I ordered two hot drinks and waited over 15 minutes just to get one drink and then waited an additional 15 minutes to get my second drink which was a hot, black Killer Bee (coffee+espresso) which should be the easiest and quickest drink to make. I had to ask the barista a few times on the status of my Killer Bee and she would respond with "it's in process." All the while, iced drinks were being made and delivered rapidly. We spent almost a hour from standing in line to place the order until the moment we received our drinks. The coffee is not that great to wait that long!! read more

Awesome service and coffee. Chris was very welcoming soon as I walked in. I recommend the horchata.
