Stopped by on a Tuesday morning. Christine was doling out coffees to a steady stream of customers. I got one of her seasonal drinks - a caramel macchiato cold brew with dulce de leche foam. Delicious - plenty of coffee flavor, caramel and creaminess - not too sweet. The portion is a good size as well - 16 oz cup filled to the brim.

Cute little stand at 6th and B street!

Oh my goodness these iced coffees are amazing! One vanilla latte and a caramel macchiato with dulce de leche foam on top. You're greeted with a smile and Christine can answer any question you have. Hours are only in the morning so head over there as soon as you wake up. Looking forward to grabbing another beverage tomorrow!

Such good service and the coffee was amazing!! We're visiting from out of town and really enjoyed the places we've tried so far, including this one! Definitely will be back before our trip ends

Hands down the best coffee around! The service is always quick, Christine is super friendly, and the vibe is just what I need to kickstart my day.

Christine's Coffee Shop is a true San Diego treasure- if you are anywhere nearby and need an espresso or coffee fix, please stop by! Christine has owned and run this little spot at the NE corner of Sixth and B Street for almost 20 years as of this writing, but her enthusiasm and passion are still there in a big way. My americano was perfect! She is personable and will make almost any coffee drink you like. Highly recommended!!

Walk up coffee stand in the downtown area. Christine was very friendly and helpful. I offered the mocha with strawberry cold foam and it was the perfect amount of sweetness.

I am in the closet about my age and still think I am like a kpop kid lmfao. Who am I kidding here?? Its a great space, but would agree they could probably cram in a few more tables. There's also another back area, and more tables back there. Guy helping me was very patient and helpful. He was also handsome too, always nice to have eye candy, even if I could have been his ajima!! I ordered a hojicha cloud as I love a good hojicha and I prefer it over matcha. I don't like sweet drinks so I asked him how sweet and he responded that the drink has 15g maple syrup in it. I froze like a deer in headlights because I didn't know what that meant but was impressed with how precise he was. I told him to just make it half that. I waited a few minutes and then my iced hojicha cloud came out. The foam on top was delicious and the hojicha was well made. I guess I could do with 7.5g of maple syrup! I sat outside as they put a bunch of chairs out and enjoyed the people watching but also some of the Miramar Air Show going on too. They came real close and did some neat tricks! Parking is a bit of a problem in this shared lot but overall, this was a good experience and I would return. Nice coffee bar with good drinks and good vibes!

First, street parking only but don't let that deter you from coming coz every inch or foot that you spend walking to this place is all worth it. Secondly, love the ambiance. Reminds me a lot of those ikazaya pubs in Japan but a little more chic and modern. They have bar seating of about 10 and 6-8 tables inside. But they also have outdoor seating. So I came at exactly 11 am and I was the second guest and they sat me at the bar. By 11:30 am, the entire resto was full, not granting it was a Saturday morning but people prolly got smart to come here early before the lunch crowd gets bigger. So for the food, I had to order their Hayachi Omurice and Chef Soichi's Chicken karage and both were BOMB! 11/10 each! Love the flavor of the rice and nice touch of thin slices of meat and the egg was perfectly made. I just wished there were heapings of those egg. The sauce was slightly tangy but love the flavor. The other star of my meal was the karage. Prolly the Top 2 karage I've had. I liked how they sliced in lengthwise and there not too much coating. And it wasn't oily and very juicy inside. Well seasoned and it came with lemon wedges and kewpie mayo. All I did was sprinkle some Nanami Togarashi for an added umami flavor. Overall, this should be on your top 10 restos in San Diego. Service was excellent, the servers were all friendly and always smiles!! Kudos to you guys!! I'll be back for sure!!

This location seems to have a limited menu whereas their other location has more options. It was a busy morning, so they doing their best to keep up with orders while people were asking if their bagels were ready. The workers were being so patient and communicating with customers that they were on it. The coffee TASTES like coffee! Silly to say, but it's soooo delicious and I love when coffee doesn't taste like a complete sugary drink. We had two iced coffees (basic sitch and blondie mocha) and their drip coffee.
