Delicious!!! Stopped in for breakfast tacos to go and asked the employee what he recommended. I ordered one of his suggestions, the chorizo/potato/egg/cheese on corn. I loved it! I also had the barbacoa/egg on flour, which was a little fatty, but still very flavorful. The hot sauce they give you is unassumingly hot and superb! Everything is made fresh to order, so it took about 15 minutes, as there were about 3-4 people's orders in front of mine. read more

This place was GREAT! Food: 10/10 Definitely would recommend. I had another taco, Chorizo and Egg, but I didn't get a photo of that one. Both tacos were amazing. Lots of flavor and reasonably priced. Service: 10/10 The guy who took my order at the counter was really nice and was genuinely happy when I was ordering. Definitely a morning person . Ambiance: Looks like it's mainly for to-go orders or quick eats inside. Very simple interior but that's not a problem. Please check this place out. Stopped here in search or a good taco and walked out without ordering. As soon as you walk in, the place is underwhelming. The cashier at the order counter was nice, I guess, hard to tell when he's got his mouth covered in a face mask. Got a menu and sat at a booth. While we're deciding on what to order, my daughter starts screaming. Ants were crawling on the wall our booth was pushed against and getting on her shoulder. Needless to say, we returned the menus and walked out without ordering. The ants were front and center where there's no way the workers, owners, management could be unaware of their prey. If they allow an ant infestation, I don't think it's a stretch to expect them to allow other pests to linger in their restaurant. Did not give one star because the food may be good, I will never know since it's been scratched off my list of places to dine. read more

If you're ever in Clear Lake & craving authentic Mexican food, this is the best place for tacos & burritos! Small, mom-pop type restaurant. For breakfast, I recommend the taquero mucho or the nice to meat you breakfast burritos. Very fresh taste, yet filling. I've tried a couple of their specialty tacos which were creative (yet still w traditional flavors) & tasty. Good prices and service. Recommend calling ahead for pick up especially on weekends. I was in the area and wanted to try this place. It's honestly not the prettiest place to look at, but I legit have no regrets. I don't live anywhere near Tacos My Way, but I will drive all the way there to eat their brekki tacos again. I ordered egg and potato tacos with grilled veggies and jalapeño with a coffee. The girl at the counter wasn't 100% with the program yet, but it was Monday morning at 9 am and I wasn't with the program either, so it's all good. The tacos were made fresh, and it took about 10 minutes to get my food. When I got my coffee she handed me a straw with it . . . okay. I guess that was to stir the creamer & sugar, so I went with it. I was actually on my way to a doctor appointment, so I grabbed everything and ran. I learned 2 things: 1. Hot coffee with a straw actually works (hey, it's 2020, there are no rules anymore). 2. These are the best breakfast tacos I've had. Everyone needs to go here and eat their food. Give them your money so they can open more locations and feed my taco cravings. read more

Stopped by this cool December morning in hopes of finding a delicious and reasonably priced breakfast spot - well, at least they were reasonably priced. There were 4 customers and a small child in the restaurant as we entered, read the menu, and ordered at the cash register. "One in a Million" sausage, egg, and queso breakfast taco and a 2 egg, 2 pancake breakfast with bacon, one coffee was our order. We sat and waited. Two customers finished their breakfast and left and 5-10 minutes later, the second couple and child (who were being served as we ordered), finished their food and left. My wife and I were the only two left until a street person came in to ask us for a "light" for his cigarette. About 30 minutes after ordering our food was served with the One in a Million taco feeling and tasting like it had been ready about 20 minutes before - not even lukewarm. The pancakes would not melt butter - cold and dense, and my wife's 2 eggs were smoking hot. The bacon was not hot, but was very tasty. Not sure how part of the meal could be served so hot and some some cold - not when we were the ONLY customers left, but we shared the eggs and bacon and left the rest for garbage. Sad to have such a bad experience after reading about all the good food EVERYONE else had. read more

Got a 5 different breakfast tacos all of them were mid steak being the best and a tie for worst bacon or potatoes. The area has much better breakfast tacos go to chalupas or Amy's. After visiting the Space Center, I was hungry for non space food. Found this place via Yelp. Small but big on tacos. I had the 'Club' tacos and queso. Tacos were bigger than expected and very good. Queso was good as well. I would suggest this place to anybody. Just don't try the green salsa. It's hot. Very hot. LOL! read more

Best barbacoa tacos I've ever had. Their portions are excellent. Only giving them 4 stars due to the speed of service. I've ordered in and ordered to go many times. They always quote 10-15 minutes, but my orders have never been done in less than 45 minutes even when there weren't any customers in the restaurant. In search of a quick stop for lunch, Yelp put this local business on our radar. The young lady in the front was super sweet and offered up a variety of recommendations for us as she could obviously see we were new comers. Unaware of the enormous size of the tacos, I ordered 3: The Club, The Cadillac and The Chipotle Shrimp. All 3 were delicious particularly The Cadillac. To be honest, 1 taco could be a meal on it's own but with so many options on the menu, it's hard to pick just one. They also have a generous salsa bar which features one of my favorite condiments, "The Hulk Sauce". This adds the perfect amount of kick to any taco you may choose. This place has terrible service. We wanted to try it for the first time, so I drove across town. Walked in, and there was a gentleman and a kid sitting at the counter both playing on their phones. They both looked right at me, and the man looked down and continued playing on his phone. Never acknowledged I was there or asked to take my order! These guys were a bit overwhelmed this order with some big orders, likely some company, but despite the orders taking longer the flavor was even better than I remember it in the past!! I had huevos rancheros, son had French toast, and wife had some tacos. They really nailed all the flavors, the rancheros were really special and flavorful, some of my favorites. Having come here several more mornings, this place has entered the "like to stop here" to "make it a point to come here whenever I can." As mentioned in my long form review (of which this is an update), the tacos are huge in portion, modest in price, and best in town in my opinion. The staff is super friendly, greeting everyone and ensuring a positive experience. I've come enough times to be recognized which is always a fun experience. More clarification on the salsas, see my photo from the store explaining. The Hulk is just that...really really spicy. I prefer the Red Devil, whereas the Rosa and Verde are decent options for those a bit averse to strong spice. read more

We used to frequent this place when it was tacos my way. We visited today and discovered the name had changed. A lot more changed besides the name. The potatoe and egg tacos were more like egg with diced up French fries on top. Not even mixed together. Also ordered a fajita taco and it was so greasy it leaked all over my new car because it was just in a paper bag and it soaked through. When I got home I couldn't even pick up the tortilla to eat it because it was saturated in grease. Very disappointed. read more

I went here for breakfast on my way to the Space Center one morning, based on reviews of its previous incarnation (or perhaps it's just in the same location as the place whose reviews I'd read). The tacos were OK, but nothing particularly special in my view. I had two, one with eggs and barbacoa, and one with eggs and chorizo. Neither had an awful lot of flavour, but with the sauces that they provide with your order (one a green chilli sauce, I think, and the other a thicker green sauce) it was much better. Not sure if I just don't know what I'm doing, but these tacos didn't leave me with any particular impression. read more

I stopped in here on a Sunday morning about 9am with my daughter. We were the only ones in the restaurant. She ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast taco and I ordered an egg and potato breakfast taco togo. When I opened the bag, I found one GINORMOUS burrito with all the ingredients inside. I was so confused. I guess they just decided to combine them together? Maybe something was lost in the English-Spanish translation? Not sure, but it was a little frustrating since we expected two tacos and instead had to share a burrito. Also the place could use a good cleaning. There was random clutter on countertops and leftover food on tables. Some tables still had upside down chairs on top making me think they weren't open but they were. Delicious tacos, my boyfriend loves the Vampire Tacos and I love the chipotle shrimp tacos, rice (not dry like some other places) and beans make great sides. Plus, local for us. Ordered out the other day and they forgot one of the tacos, I didn't go back or call, I was tired and couldn't be bothered, so I just recommend checking that everything's there if you order out. Tried ordering online the first time and was super confused, just call and order, or go in person. They have some tables outside where you can wait, otherwise, inside isn't normally too crowded and you can easily social distance yourself. read more

The best tacos I've had in awhile where they're reasonably priced with a delicious amount of hulk sauce (super spicy in the best way). It's my third time coming here and overall fell in love with it when I first came to the restaurant. The people working there are such lovely people and they really know how to cook up delicious tacos. I love the drinks they have available too! I hadn't had juice in cans since the Philippines and I'm so glad I was able to find some! Its lovely to eat when you're hungover, drunk, and in general! I can't wait to bring my s/o and best friends here, especially since they live so close. I really love that you can order the food through DoorDash and pick it up whenever it's ready, but also how close the store is to my home! It's a quick 9 minute drive and they're super quick to make the food! It's become a weekly occurrence for me to order either the mini street tacos (3/5) or Chipotle Shrimp (2). The Tex-Mex migas plate. The most brilliant and underrated dish in the history of breakfast is also the easiest to get wrong. Does your go-to migas plate have soggy chips? No worries, a common flaw by most restaurants. Does it contain no pico? Then it's no bueno. Soupy potatoes? More like soupy pota-no, bro. I've been eating migas since college, and this gem serves it up alongside the best of them. The flavors are simple and authentic, but just as much incredible -- a bit surprising since Tacos My Way is buried so deep in Clear Lake. That suits me just fine however, since it's now a part of my restaurant rotation each time I'm back home. And please forgive the pun, but the fuego sauce is FIRE! (That good) read more
