From the beginning, my experience was great. Speaking with Jelena, who arranged everything flawlessly and answered all of my questions and addressed any concerns that I had prior to my move. Then Edwin and his crew showed up and quickly and carefully picked up all my things. They took exceptional care to protect all of my possessions, especially a few delicate pieces that I requested be handled with care. They were courteous and professional at all times. I want to say that going into this move I did not expect such exceptional service. I've moved a few times and it has not always been the best experience. That being said, Octomovers really delivered amazing service and I was really pleased. If I have to move again, I am definitely calling Octomovers to move me. This has been such a pleasant experience for something as stressful as moving. My wife and I want to say "THANK YOU" to everyone that helped make our move a success.

They moved my "hourly rate down" but I still paid an absurdly higher total as the move took twice as long. Terrible customer service and delivered a service I did not sign up for. As a result of their late arrival, we ended up in our apt until late on Friday night so they could complete the move-out. Despite (a) 2 in-person visits to our apartment in our effort to get a realistic "guaranteed maximum price" proposal and (b) following such visits, our having disposed of much of our furnishings, etc., which substantially reduced their workload from the date of their proposal, after packing up our property, IMove nonetheless charged a substantial amount more than their "guaranteed" price which we we were compelled to pay in order to get our property stored and delivered. Then, upon delivery of our property to our new home, numerous items were either missing or broken. IMove has refused to accept responsibility for any of the above.

Apparently they can't double park to move on my "narrow" street, that is a one way with parking on both side and even a bike lane. Several other moving trucks double parked - but they just couldn't. Received late and very rude response from Mike claiming the person that posted the review the day before was just lying and trying to hurt his mover. Which is odd... since I had pretty much the same experience. just in case - review from day before that as mike claims - has nothing to do with their actual move.. just trying to hurt his mover Alice A. 010 Oct 31, 2025 DO NOT hire movers from this company if you value your property. A team of 2 individuals who arrived apparently high as kites. Tony and Chris were late, sluggish, clumsy and took 2 hours to load a small job that would've taken 1 hour to load AND arrive to the destination of the move. Waiting for Mike to spout out some bullshit about me not being prepared or last minute ... so i guess according to mike - if you have a last minute move - or in my case, a cancellation - PLEASE, DO NOT CALL MINUTE MOVERS. IT'S YOUR FAULT AND THEY ARE DOING YOU A FAVOR BY SHOWING UP. **UPDATE - Mike let me know that this is just how storage units look! They showed up to chaos and had chaotic guidance, so it's my fault they did things like place the sofa on it's side on the storage unit ground and tossed shelves on top. So if you have any chaos in your move and you use Minute Movers, expect some shit to get destroyed and be placed even more chaotically... and don't forget, they can't park on Brooklyn streets because they are narrow... Mike thinks I am irrational and hell bent on hurting his movers.. kind of like the other post from day prior that is just to hurt them. seems to be a pattern.

My Experience With Advanced Pro Movers -- Please Read Before Booking…read more I hired Advanced Pro Movers on July 17, 2026, through U-Haul Moving Help to load and unload my belongings. The owner, Aaron, advised me that the movers would likely go over the two hours I had already paid for. I agreed to add additional time through the U-Haul app. However, Aaron asked if I could pay him directly through Cash App instead, and I agreed at the time. I later learned that additional moving services and payments associated with a Moving Help booking should be handled through the Moving Help platform. This became especially concerning because I had purchased U-Haul's SafeMove coverage for my move. Since I paid the unloading portion separately through Cash App, I was concerned that the damages to my belongings would not be covered under the protection I had purchased. When Aaron and his team loaded my U-Haul, I noticed that they did not use the furniture pads that were provided with the truck. When they unloaded my belongings into my storage unit, my items were placed inside without what I considered reasonable care. A few days later, certified movers helped me with my belongings and discovered that several items had been damaged. I originally left a good review just like the other customer before I saw the damage they caused when my certified movers came to move my belongings from storage. Thank God for the cameras in the storage unit because Aaron is trying to place the blame on my other movers. When the cameras prove everything. I contacted Aaron and requested a refund because of the issues with the service, but I did not receive a response. I was charged $150 through the Moving Help website and an additional $180 through Cash App for the unloading portion. The storage unit was directly across the street. Aaron also told me that he had recently lowered his pricing around the time I booked. Additionally, I gave Aaron a couch to sell on my behalf, and he sold it for $225. In total, Aaron received approximately $555 from me between the moving services and the couch transaction. I'm sharing my experience so other customers can make an informed decision. If you use Advanced Pro Movers through U-Haul Moving Help, I recommend making sure every moving service, additional hour, and payment is processed through the Moving Help platform rather than paying separately. I also recommend taking photographs and videos of your belongings before the movers arrive, during loading, and after unloading, and keeping records of every payment and conversation. This review reflects my personal experience with Advanced Pro Movers on July 17, 2026.

When I offered disposable masks and gloves they declined and said they had their own. Two of them ended up wearing bandanas and one person put gardening gloves on. By the time they got the furniture to the new place I had a cracked bookshelf, scratched furniture, a broken lamp (they ripped off the light bulb with the socket, instead of untwisting the lamp), missing screws and a broken front door to the old place (they removed the door to move bigger furniture, when reinstalled the door would not close). They were supposed to refund a portion of the moving costs to fix/replace the damaged furniture and repair the broken door. After a week dodging my calls and messages, they finally responded after I posted a negative review to their thumbtack. Jose, the team lead had the nerve to tell me he did not appreciate the negative review, when he was the one ignoring my communications. Two months after the move, they refunded 2/3 of what they owed back. It has been another 3 months since and they are still not refunding the last 1/3. Vance, the owner is still not responding to my communications, much less Jose, the team lead who was present the day of the move.
