The service was very good and I brought a wedding dress to get cleaned up and he did so good he did explain to me what could happen since it was a delicate wedding dress so i knew what to expect if anything happened. We have used Best Cleaners since the nineties. Aside from a few broken buttons, they have always taken good care of us. Not needing a dry cleaners since the Vid of 2012, we returned in May and July 2023. There seems to have been an ownership change as the faces are new. We dropped off dress shirts and polos. Service is still great. The shock was the price: $2.99 for dress shirts and $5.49 for the polos, or "pull over" as it shows on the receipt. $5.49! $5.49? That can't be. When the husband went in to pick up and pay, the cost even caught the person charging him off guard. This can't be correct. So, we are looking for another dry cleaners for polos. We can't do $5.49 a piece. read more

Brought in a couple dresses and a jacket that had some deep stains. The owner informed me about the process to clean and ensured me he'd do his best to get it out. The owners customer service is phenomenal, he's very friendly and knows so much about the cleaning process. Upon pickup, I was surprised that my clothes looked brand new and all the stains were gone. They also have a new text system that alerts you when your clothes are ready to be picked up. Overall, great cleaning and great customer service at Best Cleaners. It's the only place I can really go quickly because it's right right next door to where I live. Every other place is too far for me to just go and pick up my stuff. I was spoiled by going to the cleaners close to my former employer in Sugar Land. I was laid off during the pandemic and didn't have need of a cleaners until recently. I went to this cleaners this morning to drop off 5 dresses. The intake person asked me my last name and asked if I had been there previously. After he got my pertinent info he proceeded to depart my clothes and said it will be $9.99. I said okay and was about to pay and then his eyes narrowed as he looked at me and said for each piece. I repeated it because I could not believe it. Anyway, I guess I will continue to look for a cleaners. read more

I took my fiancé's shit in to be dry cleaned and they swapped his jacket with someone else's. No big deal, right? This can be a quick fix to just swap them back. Nope. I went back to the store and the owner told me this had to be my jacket because the tag said it was... I kept insisting It was the wrong size and brand. He finally said their "may" have been a mistake made, but it was my fault because I hadn't picked up the dry cleaning in 24 hours. He then said no one had called about a mix up with their clothes and then he refused to pay ANYTHING to replace the jacket. Mistakes happen. I've gone to this dry cleaners for years and never really had any complaints, but to lose a $500 suit jacket and them not compensate me for that loss? No. That is not ok. Oh wow what a complete Looney experience. I dropped off a bergdorf jacket and returned it with chemical stain dripping from a pocket on the jacket with numerous more stain. Owner blamed me telling me I brought in the stains myself. Then I was asked to leave! Where do I begin? The cigarette smell from employees or the new jacket that was prosit in and now at another cleaners hoping it will get cleaned. Ruined a jacket that cost $895. Then blames me for stains! Surely there's another cleaners that can ruin my clothes for cheaper and less impudent attitude. Please shop else where. I told the owner I planned to warm Yelp customers and he laughed. Brought in 2 blazers and 1 trouser. Was happy the person taking in my garments took time to point out soiled areas that may not come out. I asked to proceed with the dry cleaning process. This practice places any liabilities exactly where they need to be from the start. No surprises when picking up. I sell fine jewelry and work with repairs for a living so understand this is important for both customer AND the business. When I picked up, a different gentleman accepted my payment and got my things from the back. Very courteous and professional. He acknowledged this was my first time using this cleaner service and asked if everything was ok...and it was. More closely inspected garments later at home and am quite pleased as my suiting looks almost new!! This place is tucked away behind an urgent clinic but what a best kept secret here in Houston. Lastly, my total was just under $19, which I found to be very reasonable, and impressed with the variety of services they offer (even have a night drop box). Brought my husband's 2 piece suit here to get dry cleaned-was about $8 which is ok I guess? They have a "high tech" system where they enter in your information into the computer and it prints out your pick up slip with all your information and the pick up time and date. That's nice compared to some illegible slips that you might lose or misplace somewhere. Seems like a family owned business, they're not overly friendly but courteous. read more

I have been a happy, contented fan and customer at this Best Cleaner for nearly 25 years. I have never had an issue that they couldn't fix and have never lost a garment with them. If I bring in a challenge that they cannot fix, they have the courage to say that they cannot repair that stain. They also do a good job of minor tailoring and garment repair. read more

HORRIBLE - I have been a customer of Best dry cleaners for approximately 7 months now. I went to them because of their close proximity to where I live, even though I had seen a couple of bad remarks on the Internet, thinking perhaps the reviews were over critical, or driven by other motives etc. Much to my chagrin, I have found these people to be absolutely horrible. They shredded a new $150 custom shirt 3 months ago and have consistently refused to do anything to reimburse me. Besides being horrible cleaners they are very unprofessional in the way they treat a customer after ruining clothes, even refusing to give me a phone number of a manager or owner. If it were not for the expense and trouble of filing a law suit, I would do so. Avoid these people at all costs. The only reason I gave them one star is that this would not post with no stars. read more

I have been coming to this cleaners since I moved to Briargrove Park back in 2003. Since Marsha left, service has been deteriorating at a rapid pace. There is no service in Customer Service. They destroyed one of my husband's business shirts that retails over $50 with tax. Their machine ripped it to shreds...literally. The owner offered $25 for a shirt that had been worn a half dozen times at most. We supplied documentation for the cost reimbursement and the owner got belligerent and started yelling at him. Do yourselves a favor and pass on this cleaner. When you destroy an item, you replace it. We probably spend more than the cost of the shirt 10 times that much in a year. Best Cleaners doesn't even deserve 1 star. If you read previous reviews, this appears to be the owner's modus operandi. Read other reviews. Doesn't take responsibility when he's clearly at fault. Unfortunately, my husband left the shirt at the cleaners so small claims court is now out of the question. read more

These guys have great service and a very nice and clean shop. However I have the same problem with them as I do with other cleaners: they charge a lot for women's clothing. It is a problem that women's shirts are more expensive ($3.49) than men's ($1.59). More than twice as expensive actually. read more

Terrible service! They pretty much burn off all of your buttons on your shirts. I asked them to please check the shirts then replace the buttons but they never do. If I bring the shirt in and point it out they will replace the button and sometimes it matches. I was able to live with all of that until they RUINED my wife's new Ralph Lauren sweater after she wore it a total of 1 times. The sweater had horizontal brown lines that looked like burns all the way across it. They said they would fix it. When I picked it up the lines were worse and they didn't even say anything. They just left a little "sorry we couldn't get your stain out" card on the sweater. Luckily I checked it there and was furious. They told me to come back and check with the manager. It is now a full month later and the manager just happens to NEVER BE THERE. I call nearly every day and get the same story. Sorry he isn't here, I didn't forget about you though. All I want is the money we spent on the sweater so I can try to buy a new one. AVOID THIS PLACE. They have low prices for a reason read more
