I did a basic google search but that was overwhelming and confusing on how to understand the pricing system. I finally had a friend tell me he utilized yelp for a project inquiry and that helped in getting businesses to reach out to me with a little more of a targeted price, but it also felt like a lot of the responses where AI responses. Prime Moving was the only company who called me. I honestly still wasn't 100% sold as I wanted a more concrete rate that I would be paying and not put in a situation where any movers knowing it's an hourly rate past the required 3 hours could take advantage of the situation and take longer to get more money. I fully understand it's nearly impossible to determine how long a move will take but I think most still want some sense of security that it'll only cost "xyz" amount. This isn't a comment specific to Prime Moving but the moving industry as a whole from what I experienced. A friend had mentioned they utilized Prime Moving so I felt that bit of security and ultimately went with them. Adam was one of the two movers and both were very kind and professional. They wrapped the items I need and got my moved out and into my new place in such an efficient manner I was trying to keep up with them.

AFD movers were absolutely amazing!…read more First, Mark was able to help us out securing movers within a three day notice. He helped us figure out how many we needed and the services AFD provides. We were given a great deal, other moving places would've charged us $50-$100 more and hour but AFD provided us with a very reasonable quote. They also called us the day before to confirm the move, which you don't see a lot of places do (just in case life happens and you have to reschedule). Then came the actual move. Andrew and his team were terrific! He had contacted us to let us know they were 30 minutes away. And they got to our apartment right on time! We had an on site move, going from a ground floor apartment to the second story, and Andrew and his team eased our worries with their steadfast hard work! Their fast work care with our furniture made this whole process a lot easier! We own two vintage pinball machines that were the only things left to us from our grandfather who passed a few years ago. We know they are big bulky items that most moving companies would've charged us extra for, but AFD did not! Andrew and the team took great care with them, that really eased our stress. I used TopCare Moving for my move from Aliso Viejo to Las Vegas and they were excellent from start…read moreto finish. The crew showed up right on time with a 4-man team, and they were very professional the entire day. I had already packed about 99% of my stuff, so they mainly needed to wrap furniture and box a few larger items I didn't have boxes for. They worked fast but were extremely careful. They loaded the entire truck in about 3.5 hours, which was impressive considering I was moving from a house to a house and had a lot of furniture. The unloading in Las Vegas was even more impressive. They finished in about 2 hours, including putting two beds back together. One of them was a heavy Sleep Number bed with the base, and I honestly don't know how they managed to get it down the stairs in California and back up the stairs in my new house without a scratch. No damage to anything. Rob was the lead on the crew and did a great job communicating the whole time, asking where things should go and making sure everything was placed exactly where I wanted it. The whole team was friendly, respectful, and easy to work with. The price was also very fair for the distance, especially compared to other quotes I got.
