Best Buy canceled my refrigerator order two months after I paid for it on the day it was scheduled to be delivered with absolutely no correspondence. I had to find out that Best Buy canceled delivery after logging in hours after the scheduled window. I called three times and was directed to an offshore call center and the call "disconnected" twice before I was given an explanation that the fridge was out of stock. The representative told me I would receive a gift card for the inconvenience but left no notes before the call was disconnected. I received an email from Best Buy the second the call was disconnected asking me to confirm an email address change. I can only assume that the representative attempted to change my email address to bypass a bad survey. I never received a call back, although both agents confirmed my phone number before proceeding with the call. I can deal with the refrigerator being delayed. What I find unacceptable is the blatant disrespect, lack of professionalism and common courtesy. Especially coming from a company as large as Best Buy. I'll be shopping elsewhere for my appliance purchases. I canceled the order and 24 hours later so not see a credit on my credit card. The representative told me that it would take 10 business days for them to refund me over $2,700. read more

they have some really good specials if you are trying to buy wireless headphones. I always work out and finding wireless headphones that stick in my ear and not fall out are sometimes a difficult task. I came to this Best buy because I heard they have really good deals on wireless headphones that fit seamlessly into your ear. Yes they definitely do. The headphones I bought here were very high quality and they had a really good price point they have a really clean store inside and even the bathroom is clean which is definitely something that is important to me. Wow. During a global pandemic I see a lot of companies lack initiative in ensuring their customers and workers health but Best Buy is definitely on top of their game. I came up to the store and there was a line of workers outside set at certain stations because their inside is closed. Online orders only. All I had to do was park, order online, and if it was available they brought it out within 5-10 minutes. What a fiasco. I wanted to buy a new TV and waited for the Black Friday prices. I had the home theater installers and planners to my home on Tues. I found out what I needed to purchase. Cole, the installer said he would pick up everything and bring it to my home and install. I went up to the store as I had problems with ordering online as I could not figure out how to pay with PayPal and how to get the free installation. I have the Total Tech which has free installation until Dec 21 when our plan has to renew. Geek Squad could not figure out how to place this order so I came home and called Geek Squad. It seems nobody there was able to do this either. This was after I was passed the buck 3 times. At that point I gave up. The next day I thought I would give it another try and maybe get someone who knew how. Again the buck was passed about 4 times. They told me they would send me an invoice and I could pay online. The invoice arrived but did not show PayPal. I explained to the girl that will not work as I needed to use PayPal as it showed on their web site. I asked to speak to her supervisor. I explained to him what I was trying to do and he said he had a girl who knew how to do this. Turns out she did not have a clue and another 45 min wasted. I again asked for a supervisor and was transferred to one. I explained to him what I needed to do and he said he would get it done for me. Now this was after I had got a price on the web, and mysteriously the price changed to a higher price. Tried again and another even higher price. Now that last person I spoke with assured me everything was scheduled. I came home last night only ro find 5 packages from BestBuy sitting in my driveway which annoyed me. I called to report this as I am unable to lift anything and they would be sitting outside overnight in plain view. I called to check on my installation for the next day and was told between 10:30 and 2:30. I kept that time open and even scheduled another appointment which for Fri which was very important but I could have scheduled that for today had I known. Today a truck pulls up in front of my house with 2 guys delivering my TV, I knew it was not Cole. They told me they were here only to deliver the TV and were not installers. I checked to see when Cole would be here as 2:30 had passed and I had never heard anything. Got a message that he was running late and would be here at 3:45. At 4pm still no Cole and was advised again that he was running late and would be here 3:45. BY 4:30 I was really POD and called Best Buy. This time they told me we had not included the installation. Someone really screwed up my order. By this time I am fit to be tied. They were unable to get someone here today and the next available time would not be until Mon but they would put me on a waiting list for Sat and Sun. I have had it with Best Buy. I have dealt with them at least since 2009 with different purchases and warranties. They used to be a great company but over the years they have gone downhill. Want to give a shout out to Nate C. in the Geek Squad. He took on my issue and prevented me from going down a dark road regarding Geek Squad. Earlier I had visited my Geek Squad account online and wished to cancel the agreements on 3 cell phones. I was not able to find where on the website to do that so I chatted with an online rep "Sandy". Sandy could not help me and responded "To cancel the plan you need to contact your nearest store they are the best ones to assist you". So I jumped in my car and headed to the store. The first agent I spoke with said they could not do it in the store and I had to call Geek Squad directly. I could feel the revolving door starting to turn and responded "uh... I need to see the store manager then." Of course there was a management meeting going on and no one was available. I said surely someone must be "in-charge". In stepped Nate. He reiterated that they were unable to cancel my Geek Squad contract from the store. I showed Nate the chat print-out where the store was the only option provided and that I was frustrated. He reiterated this could not be done at the store and then assured me that he would help take care of it. He then took the time to call on my behalf right then and there. He took ownership of my problem and a satisfied customer walked out. Attention Best Buy: People like Nate are the types of employees that have allowed your business to thrive. Now go back and re-train the call/chat center reps so I don't have to go through this again. read more

This location is pretty good. It's pretty busy, so sometimes stock isn't perfect, or organized perfectly. But customer service has always been good. On my last visit I was helped by Craig in the mobile device department, trying to buy an iPad Pro. Another BB location sent me here, based on the inventory shown in the computer. But they didn't bother to check real inventory and it was missing. So Craig called around, found one, and had it set aside so I wouldn't waste more time. All with a smile and a handshake. This is my go-to Best Buy when I'm in need of something Electronic or a household item. This is very convenient for me to get to as it's right by my house on W Thunderbird Road and the I-17. Every time I come here, I'm greeted at the door as I enter. Anytime I'm in a certain department for a period of time, someone always comes over and asks if I need any help or have any questions. Actually, I get asked on multiple occasions if they can help me. Can be nice, but sometimes a little annoying! They have a good variety of any given item in the store, which is nice so you aren't stuck having to settle for an item. If they don't have an item in stock, they can direct you to another store that has it. Please note, if you look online for an item and it shows that they have it in a particular store, it doesn't mean it will be there when you get there, especially if it's a popular item or they only have one left. This happened to me once at this store, but luckily they had another similar item and it was on sale!! Best Buy has been good to me as far as having all the items I need when I need it. I've been able to buy a vacuum cleaner, rug spot remover, coffee maker, fan, laptop, blender/food processor, TV, GPS system, and an air purifier from them. Returns are also welcome there and I've never had a problem returning something if done within a certain period of time. Will definitely buy from them again. read more

Had a terrible experience here before. I bought a TV with a surround sound speaker system. I could only pick up the TV at the time because my compact car could only fit one item. The employees told me I could come back to pick up the speaker system later. I come back the next day and they told me everything had been picked up. I tried to argue my case with management and with cooperate but unfortunately it was futile. I told them to look at the cameras but even then no one wanted to actually help me. The worst part of the experience was that I was being treated as lying and dishonest. I lost a lot of valuable time trying to get the speaker system I paid for which was worth about $200. Do not buy from this store. I bought 2 different things this month and both broke within 30 days. The first time i let it go... the second time i tried to get an exchange.. first i was like i wanna add a protection plan they were like sorry its only 15 days well come to find out a new employee accidently told me 30 days. As a customer who as spent well over 15,000 in the last 2 years i will never ever go back to best buy after they refused to exchange a 200 dollar item within the first 30 days. I guess i shoulda read the receipt but they bassically told me sorry pay us 150 a year to get 60 days returns. I made a online appointment with Greek squad on 12/7/21 and the soonest appointment was 1215/21 1pm to have a new car stereo installed in my mustang, when I arrived they did not have a stereo system in-stock for my car .well to say the least I was pissed. Me and my girlfriend went to this location (thunderbird) 3 times on 2/9/24 to pick up an Apple Pencil, for a new iPad we had purchased elsewhere earlier that day. We went and picked up the one we believed was correct, and ended up being wrong so we brought the incorrect pencil back, typically no big deal it was less than an hour with no problems to the pencil itself, at the register the girl helping us (believe her name was Kaitlyn) kept talking over us and was extremely condescending, and rude the entire time we were there she would make over exaggerating gestures towards us. She kept going on about how we needed the second gen pencil and that we gad the first gen when we actually had the usbc(which does not specify which gen) and when we tried to correct her about it she would ignore and talk over us, saying that we needed the second gen and even after showing her online which one we wanted because the description said that it was compatible with the iPad we had she still ignored us, and spoke over us saying that we needed the second gen. And that "how is it going to work without second Gen?" so we decided to pay the difference and try it. Well so to speak it was not the right one so we went back again and ended up talking to the same girl. We explained that it still did not work, and was not the right one she ended up, just pawning us off to geek squad. To try to fix the issue. To which they did. While we were talking to geek squad. She walked by a couple of times, staring at us and rolling her eyes, making over the top expressions, and overall was extremely rude. Ok so Best buy hands down my favorite store and the only major electronics retailer around except for Fry's Electronics. I have made plenty of big purchases and spent thousands over the years. That does not hold true recently and because of this they won't give me the same return policy because I did not spend a certain amount of dollars this past year. I'm extremely upset and frustrated with this place that they will indeed lose me and my close colleagues for life! We have all made hefty big screen tv purchases and even more expensive pro camera gear but never again! I recently bought two camera bags both with gift receipts within their holiday extended return period. (December 31st to be exact) I wanted to gift one to a friend and keep whichever one he liked least for myself. We ended up finding something else altogether that just worked much better so these two bags from best buy sat in a room with tags and receipts ready to be returned but I did not think I would have to rush and go out of my way to return it right away. Well I was wrong, because after 18 days they would not accept it. There return period first of all is a lousy 15 days and you can argue that other electronics retailers are the same way but no that is not true there is plenty of retailers that will take returns up to 30 days such as Amazon, B&H Photo, Adorama, ABT Electronics and the list goes on. On top of this guess what my items are not even electronics so maybe you should have a different return policy for non-electronic items don't you think. Anyways, point made their regular return period is not good, no excuses end of story. Luckily I was in the holiday return period right? WRONG their holiday return period is not an extended return period from the date of purchase(Like how it really should be) but instead if you bought something during their holiday period you can return it up to Jan 14th. Ok let's look at what is wrong with this. They claim that my purchase made on Dec 31st was in fact within their extended holiday return period but if I only have until Jan 14th to return it well guess what that is your same lousy 15 day return period again. You tricked me best buy that makes absolutely zero sense and you should apparently hire someone who can do simple math. I confirmed that this was indeed in your holiday return period yet no one told me that this will all end Jan 14th so in my head rightfully so I'm thinking ok this has extended return if I have to return it I'm good for a while. I'm done repeating myself I just wanted to make sure that got through. You know if your store managers would just hear me out (They pretended like they were but I don't think it was getting through to them) then there is absolutely ZERO reason why they would not be reasonable with me and just accept my refund. You know why because plain and simple I'm right and you are wrong and if you don't change mark my words your stores are going to start closing one-by-one. Saying that I'm beyond frustrated is still an understatement. Oh and I don't want store credit no I paid you with real money and I want that back which was their solution to this but absolutely not I do not accept. I'll be sure to make sure this is heard best buy I'm not letting it go I spent a long time talking to many of your people in charge in multiple stores. Shop anywhere but here. Store employees chat to each other and make no effort to find items. Items are listed in the store but nobody can bother to tell you where they are. If you order online, even though the web page says the items are there, you get told an hour later the item is not available, but contacting best busy says the items is there. Maybe there but the employees don't know where anything is and can't be bothered to find them or maybe inventory counts are way off. No offer to replace with another brand (10 other brands were there). I am ordering on Amazon, not worth spending all this time not able to get the item just to try and get it today vs tomorrow. Went in to buy something, asked were it was and was pointed to an area of the store and told me they would send someone to help me. A nice start but went downhill after that. Could not find anything, no empty slots, etc. The guy helping me could not find anything. I had a sku, item information, etc. He went to the register to look for something. I looked around more. The guy who pointed me to the area walked by with another employee, he said they didn't find it yet, but he made no attempts to look for anything. The employee with him said oh, there it is pointing towards the shelving. When I asked where she saw it, she said oh no, I lied. Nothing was there. They continued to socialize, standing there, not helping at all. I wandered around for several aisles and finally found the item with no help from people who worked there (other than the guy who spent 15 min at the computer not finding anything). Went back the next day as I needed another part not included in the first item. Again, no help at all, everyone who worked there was socializing and could not be bothered to acknowledge me let along offer any help. I left after not finding what I was looking for. I placed an order online figuring it would be there for curbside pickup and no trying to find it inside. The order confirmation said it would be ready in an hour. 45 min later I got an email saying it was not available at that store and it would be in the store in a couple days and I could pick it up then. I canceled the item. I chatted with the web page and said hey, I ordered this item (there was supposed to be 10 different brands of the same item available at the store) and I didn't want to keep ordering something to be told it was not available an hour later. The guy asked for the item I wanted, I told him. He asked for my zip code. He found the local store, told me the item was there and I could go get one at the store. I pointed him back to the first thing I had typed in 10 minutes prior and asked him to go read that again. After a minute he asked for the order to get the sku to tell me it was there. Was a strange trip last nighy, upgrade cell phones from Note 5 to Note 8. Another Mobil Tech asked if I would like him to install our "Screen Protector". Never saying there was a $7.99 fee for each phone! Hmmmm something Ain't Right! So I went back today to return the now peeling off screen protectors. ONLY to find out the 25% off Bundle Price for Cellular accessories would be subject to restocking fee. So what credit was supposed to be almost $60 was a mere $35 dollars. read more
