That's fine in normal cold weather, but at 22 degrees the overhead heaters just don't quite cut it. I think this part of the experience could use a little revision. My only complaint was that my food was lukewarm. It seemed like my food may have been finished and sat for a few minutes while my wife's pancakes were completed. On a cold morning, I would have preferred a hotter meal, the grits weren't warm enough to melt the butter, and the toast was cold, so I didn't even attempt to butter it. That said, even with the temperature issue, the food was still very tasty, and given how cold it was outside, I'm willing to let it slide. Everything arrived quickly, and the restaurant itself is very quaint, set in an old home that is very clean. On our first visit, they offered chocolate chip cookies to go, and they were excellent! For the price, it was a monstrously sized dessert in today's economy, and I struggled to find room for any more meals thereafter. The peach sorbet hit a strong flavor note, and the non-dairy chocolate was smooth, but I could still tell the difference in complexity of flavor upon reaching the mint chip ice cream at the end. Devouring various toppings, I was left more than satisfied. The shop had only one person working and I was lucky to get in on the early end of a rush.
