Very nice diner feel. The food is good, the coffee is hot and ready. A good place for a home cooked meal.

Second visit to the kitchen, and with food this good, there will definitely be more in the future!…read moreWe visited on a very cold morning, and orders are placed outside on the porch before entering. That's fine in normal cold weather, but at 22 degrees the overhead heaters just don't quite cut it. I think this part of the experience could use a little revision. My wife had pancakes with vanilla syrup and sausage. I ordered the classic breakfast with eggs, grits, sausage, and toast. Everything was very flavorful. My only complaint was that my food was lukewarm. It seemed like my food may have been finished and sat for a few minutes while my wife's pancakes were completed. On a cold morning, I would have preferred a hotter meal, the grits weren't warm enough to melt the butter, and the toast was cold, so I didn't even attempt to butter it. That said, even with the temperature issue, the food was still very tasty, and given how cold it was outside, I'm willing to let it slide. Everything arrived quickly, and the restaurant itself is very quaint, set in an old home that is very clean. On our first visit, they offered chocolate chip cookies to go, and they were excellent! They didn't have any this time, but we'll be back again to try our luck. To those about to nosh, I salute you!!

Go. There. Now. We…read morewere in town for my birthday, decided to stroll Main Street and check out the shops. We stumbled upon Elevate and said, well let's try it (10:45/11AM). They were busy, we grabbed a seat at the bar and had a chance to talk to Big Mama (her special that Friday was lasagna and boy did it look AMAZING) Hubs likes to chat, so we got the back story on how long they'd been in business (2 years this past spring) I got the triple decker club on sourdough and my lanta, it was DELIGHTFUL - the bacon was fresh, crunchy, lettuce was crisp and the tomatoes were PERFECTION. Hubs got the Mega Meaty Bowl - the picture doesn't do it justice, if you leave here hungry it's your own fault. They're open til 2 daily, check them out next time your in town - daily lunch specials rotate along with their soups! You won't be disappointed and Big Mama will make sure you enjoyed your visit!

We got the scramble and the butter croissant breakfast sandwich. I will say if you go you HAVE to get a pancake it was one of the best I have ever had. The country potatoes were amazing as well. Nikki our server was friendly and on top of it. Would highly recommend. (visiting from Texas)

Since we got there so early, we had ordered from their cafe and their lattes were nice to sip on while walking through their edible garden! I really liked our server, a ginger man, very kind and quirky and it felt personable which I enjoy, he told us about being a Michelin recommended and I'm glad to have experienced it! For starter, I got the smoked salmon hash, and that was filling enough and very fresh! I had ordered their Philly cheese steak with auju and it was sooooo filling, I love a hearty breakfast, but I could only finish one half. I ordered their local sausage patty and it was nice and Smokey and savory! The grits were chunky and cheesy which I really enjoyed, everything was great! Love it! My partner ordered a classic breakfast and their maple bacon is sooooooooo good, I told him he needed to learn to make it because I want more! Their fruits seemed home grown and I really appreciate their decor of sexy veggies on the way! Such a cool place to eat and hang out!

Cracker Barrel would have been a step up. Haven't been to this hipster, that has turned into more of a tourist trap breakfast cafe in years and probably won't go back anytime soon. Salad was basically a lettuce mix with nothing else? Added shrimp was ok. I guess a restaurant can cruise on a reputation that they once had for awhile(?) until folks realize it's just not that same restaurant anymore. Still a cute venue. Bottom line an overpriced mediocre hospital cafeteria meal that could have been a good meal with a little bit of TLC (tender loving care)...

We were treated as soon as we walked in, and everything looked clean throughout the resturant. The waitress was prompt and polite taking our drink orders. We were served by Autumn, who was really friendly and always there for us. I ordered an omelet with biscuit and gravy for a side. The omelet itself was good. The eggs were more fluffy than I usually have, not sure why, maybe just more whipped. I could be wrong, but the cheese seemed like the plasticky cheese product that come in the individual wrappers. That being said, it was good. I ordered the biscuit and gravy because I had never had either at a Waffle House. The biscuit was interesting, not southern style at all, very machine made in size and texture. Not bad, but not as good as I had hoped. The gravy was actually pretty good. Most places use a mix, and this may have been a mix, but it contained salt and tasted like greasy gravy... Not the best I've had, but decent. Having been to many Waffle House locations, I will be happy to come back to this one.
