Had breakfast at DT's. A warm inviting place for coffee, breakfast or lunch. They are more than coffee but less than a deli. A wonderful pastry selection. And every type of coffee you could ask for. We had Cinnamon Sugar French Toast and a latte and A Breakfast platter with scrambled eggs, sausage, grits and Sausage and gravy biscuit with Almond Joy Latte. You order at the counter and your food is brought to your table hot and delicious. The ladies working the coffee bar are friendly and patient as you try to order just 1 selection. So many good choices. Seating is open with tables for dining and chairs and couches for sipping a relaxing beverage. There is plenty of street parking spaces out front. While there the daily lunch sandwiches were being posted. Will try lunch tomorrow. I highly recommend. read more

Fast and friendly service. Sandwiches are fresh. this was an excellent place for coffee, pastries, and sandwiches prior to the hurricane destroying them, but they have come back better than ever. I used to live up there but stopped by for a visit today. Definitely might go to place for breakfast for lunch when I'm in town. read more

We loved this coffee shop and cafe. There was plenty of tables in the front and in the back where you can relax or work. The coffee was great. We also had lunch - a chef's salad that was huge and very good. We also had the Philly Cheesesteak and French Dip sandwich. It was all delicious. Afterwards we got hot fudge sundaes. This was the first time we have been there since the storm. They have really fixed the place up nice. It was busy when we went between 12:30 and 1:00 pm, but they handled it. They had everything under control. The people were nice, and we had fast service. I love the BLT. It comes on yourchoice of bread, with a pickle spear and a side. Chips, potato salad, macaroni salad, or fruit cup. Mom loved the chicken salad on a croissant. They also have coffees and coffee drinks along with Danish and ice cream. My FAVORITE coffee place EVER!! They have some delicious breakfast options. Their grits are so good and their Western Bagel is the BEST!! For lunch I would highly recommend their chicken salad, it's DELICIOUS!! They have a seasonal drink, the Dirty Chai Pumpkin Latte, it was so good! I had one every morning that we were visiting Spruce Pjne! Their staff is so sweet and friendly. The dining area is always so clean and welcoming. This is a really excellent coffee shop. The infrastructure is so solid, it is so clean. The table I sat at was a live edge oak table top. Way Way cool. They've got pews line in the wall, with power strips underneath him to make sure that people have their power for their mobile devices, they got a separate meeting room in the back, lighting is excellent. It is spacious, both couches and table tops, depending on your preference. They're reasonably lame when it comes to social distancing, though, and the crowd basically seems to be in denial. about COVID. So I avoid it when it's crowded. The food and coffee though is really excellent excellent variety. First, they have coffee the traditional things you expect from a good coffee shop, and they have heavy cream, oh yeah. They also have other drinks putting teas ice cold drinks Italian sodas milkshakes and other switch a dessert stuff including ice cream, banana splits, root beer floats, etc. Their alternative milk is standard, soy and almond milk. They have numerous types of foods as well, soups and salads, and interesting sandwiches. They have breakfast, and the daily specials, stuff for vegetarians and kids. We stopped in here for a quick lunch on a Saturday. Excellent food, service and atmosphere! Great ambiance. Love how it is decorated and laid out. My husband got Black Widow coffee and he loved it. This place has always been great food and friendly staff and clean. I wish however that they disclosed more clearly that they now charge for sides, whereas sandwiches used to come with sides, and they also now charge for water, tab water that is. When the person says, "what side do you want"?, they need to disclose that it cost extra. read more
